how do i go back to the same multiplayer server, even its random server do they always give codes for the world or no need?
if you played a public server and left and joined back would you keep your stuff?
So if I enter another world (public or with friends) I'm basically starting from scratch? Or will my progress/weapons and monsters go with me?
You start from scratch unless you join one you already started in like your friends hosted world.
That needs to change it would be cool to be able to enter other players worlds with our own pal teams and stuff

question: i wanna be able to play multiplayer with my friends and be able to progress with them without needing a server host to be always active. is there a way for that? would official servers be a solution to this? can a server stay up 24/7 for anyone to join and play at any time?
Yes a server is the only way to do that.

I downloaded the game via game pass I can play, but when I want my friend to play with me and I give him the code, he says Time Out. Do you have a solution? Please help me
Yup i had the same issue. This is a server issue on the developper’s side. Servers are overloaded, they are working to fix it but no etr at the moment. Best things to do is to retry non stop and if your lucky itll work.
i was able to crossplay from pc xbox gaming pass version to steam using an invite code. Only could join a server through steam though.

Hi question, so my friend chose to play on my world but when we are done and he leave my world, my palbox stay the same level as level 2. Is there any other way for me to get my palbox previous level before we start the multiplayer?
Also upon leaving the guild my palbox can't be access anymore. It says that it is belong to other guildmate something like that
If you put down the palbox then you can play in the world solo to level it up without your friend. If your friend put down the palbox then they have to be the one to Upgrade it.

Does joining 32 players official servers recommended if I don't have any friends but also don't want to play alone? will my progress/items/pals still be there if I join that exact server again later?
I'll buy the game after they added pvp, 'cause if the server I'm playing on randomly becomes a pvp server, then the fun ended lol ( I assume there'll be separated pvp focused/pve focused servers just like Ark etc.)
Yes all your stuff will still be there if you join the server later. I think it has to be the same server for now but they are working on a feature where it may not need to be
if you join multiplayer game and the host is logout can we still play or we'll logout also?
You would get kicked as the world is on their aystem

Only if you delete it. Your world is saved to your system, but joining a server or a new world you will start from scratch there. Like Minecraft you can save as many worlds as you want
If I want to play multiplayer on one of the official servers, are these servers always available or would I have challenges joining if they are full?
And, if the server is full and I want to play, should I join another official server and start from scratch? Thanks!
You can join a server as long as all the spots have not been taken already. This means that even if a server looks like it has space, it may be because people are offline. Once you join a server and create your character, your stuff will stay there unless you have not played or no one in your guild has played in 168 hours. At that point everything would be deleted and you would have to start again from scratch.

If you go to a new server then yes you would have to start over. They are working that as a feature where you can bring stuff over but it is not in the game right now.

Man there is no "Join Multiplayer Game" button in my main menu. Is that because I'm playing it via Gamepass?
I that is part of it. There are still bugs and version issues with it so not everything is working right

Any solution to the error of inviting a friend to play and it says "palworld connection has expired"
There are issues with their servers they are trying to fix. This goes for hosted worlds as well. I hope they can fix it soon
One question so I started my own world on palword and I'm the beginning still. But yesterday I join my friend server and I had to make another person on his world. We got pretty far. And I upgraded that person a lot. Is there anyway I can play with that character without my friend having to be on.
Not unless it is an actual server. If it is a hosted world then you can only be on it when they are. That may change later on but that is the way it is now.

@@Gregory-pi3oc for now servers are only on steam. Hosted worlds are able to be used just not full survers

I have an Xbox one S and the multiplayer option is completely blacked out on world creation. It says "Your device cannot be used to host multiplayer matches". Please help if anyone knows what to do
I believe that means you need to be on a series console or PC to host a world. I remember dead island 2 had the same issue with the previous gen consoles. I will do some testing to confirm and make an updated video If I find something.

You do have to be on the next gen console because I tried on both my Xbox one and series x and it worked on the series x

Hosting is only on the series consoles I believe
So basically its like the forest where one opens a server and hosts it and whatever the invited players play on it will be saved

No your world stays the same anything you do in someone else's world only affects that world

If it is a hosted world then they would need to be online for you to join them. Servers are anytime

Ah nvm you can private community servers right? So the best to play with friends would be a community server right?
@@joeyvanloggem3966 The official dedicated servers are run by Pocket Pair. Whereas the community servers are created by regular people. If you want to play with your friends up to 4 people can play on a hosted world, but the host has to be on as well. If you want to play with more or want it to not necessarily be tied to a single person, then creating a server and locking it would be the other way, and you could have 32 people playing.

Question. May have been explained but I’m confused. I started this yesterday on my own. My two friends and I want to play as a three but we all have our own worlds. Do we have to start from scratch to have a world for all three of us? Also if the person who is the host goes offline, can me and my other friend carry on in that world that when the host returns it has our progress on it?finally, the progress we make in the world for all three of us, can we transfer our pal levels and our own levels into our solo world?
You can use an existing world as long as you turn on multiplayer in the world settings. If your friends join a world you made, they would start from scratch and the same goes for you if you join theirs. If the host of the world is offline, others will get kicked and not be able to join unless the host is there. Nothing at the moment transfers between worlds so you can't take anything with you.

I think that is due to the game pass version being not the same as the steam version. It should get updated soon
How many people can join official? And how long will the building stay after staying offline.
For a hosted world 4 total people can play. For a server 32 total people can play. Buildings stay forever unless they are destroyed
@@RGReimagined how is that possible. They never do. A server will be full with buildings. In think there is a time into it.
It is crossplay but only for xbox and xbox pc. So if your on pc and you own the copy through Microsoft, you can play with xbox. If you own it through steam, then you can't play with xbox
guessing Xbox / Microsoft accounts cant join servers as the option is not on my screen?
Not yet, I heard Microsoft is going to help with that but I haven't seen anything myself about it

I believe so. I get the same issue on my Xbox one but not PC. Still need to test my series s but haven't yet
@@RGReimagined I found out that if u launch it on Xbox version of the game on ur pc/cloud game on ur phone you can make a multiplayer world then create you avtr boot it up on your Xbox and it will be good to go

There should be a join multiplayer option just not a host or server option. My PC game pass version only has a join option. Servers are only on steam for now but to host with PC game pass you would need to purchase the game I think. I have another video on it for the Xbox version and I will update the pinned comment and description of this video to include the info

It depends on the version you have. I have that same problem on my xbox, but my steam version can do all of it. I think it is due to the xbox, gamepass, and pc gamepass versions being behind steam.
Same, I don't get two options, only one with the code . I have the game on gamepass that's why, because steam has those community stuff..
My friend created a world and activated multiplayer. I entered the world using the code, and on the second day when I entered the code, I did not find the world, and it turned out that the code had changed. The question is: How can I get the code or enter my friend’s world without him being connected to the game? Is there a way to create fixed code that does not change?
You can't connect to a hosted world if you are not the host and the host is not online. The only way to do something like that is through a server, but I believe PC is the only thing that can do that at the moment.
There is crossplay between Xbox and pc, I was playing with people on Xbox while I was on pc

Not at the moment, Everything is done individually even though they can use all the same base resources and pals.
I'm on Xbox and this does not work. Don't listen to the video There is no options in the menu that let you switch it on and then in the game world settings It says your device Cannot be used to host multiplayer matches, which is absolutely not true.
It may be a bug possibly, It is in early access. I am on PC but I have heard of people playing together on xbox since it released.

You have to create a new character the first time. After that it should use the same character you made for that world

@@georgemcfly6523 It is probably a bug since the game is in early access. I have been playing on the steam version so I can only say what that looks like even though the steps are supposed to be the same.

Xbox can not do multiplayer my friend plays this game through cloud gaming, and we can join her through that

Ya the gamepass version is behind the steam version. That goes for xbox gamepass and pc gamepass. I have a video talking about that, and they have sent a patch to microsoft and it is waiting for an approval form my understanding.

@@RGReimagined Thats the only thing that stops me from playing it. Cuz people will tend to start on New servers nonstop, to become better than others. This will make old servers dead. But if they had big cap servers, game would be awesome.
