Does it go all the way up to hyper sphere when max stars?
Max stars is only megas. Ive tested it. 3 stars is when you get a chance at megas, 4 stars increases those chances of megas. Doesnt go above that.@@trent0987
@@trent0987from a vid I saw that had a spreadsheet of the drop rates at which vixy star. I believe star 3 and max star 4 have same drop rate for mega spheres and mega spheres are its top sphere drop. So until they update game more just star 3 a couple for now.
if it hasnt been answered yet, capturing pals from behind (youll see back bonus) is the extra 20% . sleeping pals also provide a bit more yet can oddly fend off spheres as well.
By the by, work speed doesn't work on ranch pals as it is not a work ability but is a pal ability.

That's not entirely true. There's an animation for every item produced. I believe it is 6 seconds. Work speed will reduce that animation time. Thus increasing production.
@@murph1414 so with +100% work speed you save whole 3 second per cycle. I don't think its worth it ;)

The funniest part about this is the area ImCade touched down on to build his base was exactly where I randomly chose without realizing the proximity of the Iron above me. I just built there because I knew a Black Marketeer was nearby, and invasions are forced to come to me from the downslope. Well within Tocotoco range.
Glad to see someone else who never uses a Beegarde in a ranch for honey and just slaughters Pals wholesale for honey instead.

Why? You have 3 bases and you can't set up 1 ranch with a bee beegarde?

Also you can get your level 4 kindilling pall to level 5 kindilling if you esence condense it to I think 3 or four stars
At 4 stars for whatever pal you are Condensing is when it gets an upgrade to whatever the work traits are.

are you sure I have a bee that has a god roll basically for work speed and I have more honey than I can believe with default settings.
@@CYWNightmarework speed for farms affects the animation but that is just a visual thing. They still produce the same amount of items no matter how high or low it is.
So in the end, work speed traits do nothing to help, having sanity and hunger reduction is good though. As that means more uptime. That's about it.

Only what metters on ranch is food trait so they need to eat less hence they dont lose time on that
Lucky works on ranches but that may be the only one
For an easier time capturing low-level pals, fire a single uncharged poison arrow. Status effects make capturing easier.

Aint no way you made 3 level 3s instead of a level 5.
Now we just need to be able to upgrade even more stars. I'd catch 1000 Vicys if it meant they could dig up legendary spheres and bullets.
So… did Level 3 give you Gigas? And does 4 give you Hypers? I need to catch more Vixy’s. It’s been on my to-do list for long enough

The highest sphere they dig up is mega spheres. 4 star vixies only give a higher chance to get mega spheres. I have my vixy farm running 24/7 afk on a server and never got spheres higher than mega.

This was wonder on game in Palworld! 😊
Put a ranch down, surround it with foundation, put walls on the foundation (closest to the ranch), delete the ranch. Put raised foundation in the center where the ranch was, leaving enough space for the ranch to be placed directly under ceiling that will be placed last. Place the ranch, place ceiling over the ranch, build the ranch, now you have a ranch platform and your pals can farm on top of the platform.
Place beds and a feedbox for convenience.
Directions too confusing, I now have pals underground
worth noting that getting a Pal to 4 stars increases their Work Speed as well!
the reason it has different capture rates is due to many factors. your level, their level, how many lifmunk statues you upgraded with, etc. but one of the biggest is capturing from behind. if you capture them from the front itll have lower chances but if you capture from behind it gives you a back bonus. this back bonus can be pretty big to and i recommend capturing them with the back bonus.

@@johnnyboiz_3567 Prevents you from missing your throws, but I don't think it helps with the %. HOWEVER! You can use it while on your flying mount, so just fly around with some higher tier balls and capture entire groups all at once.

Work Speed does not affect Ranch, only skill level sadly. Also, you need less beegardes/honey because you only need 2 honey per cake. Vixy at best (i think 3-4*) give mega spheres occasionally but by the time you get there youre going to need giga and above spheres. Fun times, but not practical unless you wanna spend an hour trying to shove a 30 pal into a mega sphere your vixy gave you.
Hi Cade I found the best weapon combo in grounded it is the sour battle axe with the broothmother mask red ant chest and the mantis leggings
i only have 17 hours of playtime so far..didnt think it could end up looking like this, wow. the grind must continue, i'm excited to get this far myself!
Pals will keep working while you're away, but not if you log off completely.
They also still slowly lose hunger and sanity, causing them to be severely injured if you're gone for longer than an hour, so box your pals or leave your pc running if you plan on sleeping
Just to let you know cade, you can capture the tower bosses.
Seeing the different way to farm is good.
@4:20 - No, Artisan Work Speed +50% and Serious +20% Work Speed is not the best combo. The best combo would actually be Artisan +50% Work Speed and Workaholic -15% Sanity drop. This will have your Pals working longer at the +50%, as they will need less time for breaks. If you are adamant on prioritizing Work Speed however, then the better option would be Artisan +50% and Work Slave +30% Work Speed, -30% Attack
I feel it more important to point out however, that Pal Drops at the Ranch are a set value that is only improved by ranking up, so Work Speed is useless in this case. Great for Farming crop, and Crafting however. The ideal setup for a Rancher would be:
Workaholic (Sanity Drop 15% slower) - less need for breaks
Diet Lover (-15% Hunger) - less need to feed
Swift (+30% Movement Speed) - faster travel time for food/sleep
Fourth slot is down to personal choice at this point. Might also be worth noting that the Ranch has a lowered impact on sanity than other tasks though.
Beeing at the ranch doesn't lower sanity, seems it doesn't count as work, that would also explain why work speed has no effect. Could replace that by second food/hunger reduction trait or only use two passives for easier breeding.
@@ShinjiteruYT TBF, Being on the ranch doesn't really lower hunger that much either - they spend time grazing, after all. These are really backup skills for when/if they get stuck or raids

So, basically a god tier Shadowbeak in a team of Hoocrates that are all maxed condensation wise to buff up the damage of Divine Disaster via Hoocrates trait of buffing team Dark damage?

Getting them to level 4 upgrades their work skills (So a level 1 farming becomes level 2) and it's apparently a 50-100% efficiency increases. WOrth seeing what that does to your results
Hey, so if you die while caching a pal it just goes in your invintory.
My partner and I played this at launch and when I saw the Pal Condenser he tried to convince me it was useless or a waste...until I made one, and then showed him how zoomie my Galeclaw was and how much extra weight my Lunaris gave me. He stopped questioning my experiments after that lmao
That base is exactly where I have mine but I never knew about the Palbox into deleting a Syndicate camp
actually some camps just randomly spawn and despawn when you join or leave the game
Huh! I didn't even put it together that Vixy digging in the ranch is her partner skill.. It's great that you can get better Palspheres when you upgrade them! ...I just hate having to catch a million of something to do it.

Yep, but go into their stats screen and disable the “Bee quiet” attack if it’s enabled. They will blow themselves up if attacked. 🙄
There are bee pals that give you honey when they're in the ranches
In my game pals still work while I am away but it seems it is at 1/3 the rate when out of render distance. Whenever I visit tons of material on ground ready to be picked up and deposited.
Give your Vixy a Lucky passive skill,you got 15% more work speed,from 140 to 150.

Cade, the difference in capture rates is wether your getting the back shots bonus 😂 no but it actually is more effective to hit the pal from the back
You do, of course, know that literally everything in this game is infinite, right? Every resource respawns, every pal respawns, even the player respawns.
Work speed doesnt affect ranch skills :(
I just realized my first pal I caught when I started was a shiny cat guy that increases weight capacity I saw it shoot lighting attack at something so I caught it thinking it was a mini boss
Lucky pals have a random active skill, always funny when you approach a shiny grass pal, and it uses Ignis Breath on you :P

Pretty sure pals keep working when you leave. I checked my mining base, it had 600 ore, went exploring for a while and even fixed my other base which is nowhere near my miners and I come back to 1700 ore.
Apparently this is highly debated amongst players.

For work speed I've got lucky, artisan, serious and work slave......so so fast
For mining its move speed + hunger passives, for handi its full work speed

you should find a breeding line to get lucky into the equation for 15% more work speed then go for lucky, artisan, serious, work slave. that's what I'm spam-breeding on my Anubis' right now!

Yeah, Vixies ranches are nice to bulk farm low tier pals, but you aren't gonna catch a legend with them :P

The capture thing is based on the level! With the level 3s being easier than the level 6s

There's a glitch with a pal named Sweepa see its a pal that gets power from smaller versions of itself (swee) and if you drop those pills and pick them up while riding him the stats go up even more I was thinking what would the ultimate sweepa look like and I feel you would have the grit and determination to pull it off Cade

If you want them to work harder, put swift and diet lover so they get back to work faster.

Now you need to breed "Legend" into them and get the work speed up EVEN FURTHER BEYOND

Capture rate differences are in the vixy level's. 100% catch rate against level 3, 74% against level 6
breed lucky into them, cross breeding there are pals that loop back into itself,an lucky is 15% workspeed
The problem with this is Vixies dont roam around in packs usually and you need almost 100 to begin getting Mega spheres.
So... breed or capture 100 vixies or mine ingots? Which is really more time effective?
Capturing Vixies saves you more time in the long run. They usually roam in pairs. You're better off using those ores to either craft bullets or the stronger Giga & Hyper Spheres.

Farming is the work ability that allows pals to use the ranch. The Partner Skill will just effect what they drop when farming on the ranch.

The traits do not make a difference when they dig in the ranches only their digging level thing
step 1: build a mile high wall near an npc
step 2: place a platform at the top for you to stand on.
step 3: aggro some guards by attacking an npc near your wall
step 4: climb for your life
step 5: stand on platform at the top
step 6: ????
step 7: profit

Edit: Forgot to mention I knew they drop the spheres but didn't know that using the blender levels the ability which means they find better spheres. Oh my fucking god. No more waste of Metal on those stupid orbs. Metal for days with all that. But first I need to build a sex chamber to breed cows chickens and bees just to make them work faster ;)
