Congrats on 1 year! 🎉❤ You’re my loc crush Morgan. So happy I found you a few weeks ago, and am loving your content. I actually just got my microlocs installed yesterday. I had traditional locs for 5 years and loved them, but wanted to start a new journey. Loving it so far!
Thank you, This is an exciting time. Also, I am so honored to be anybody's loc crush. I appreciate you. Congratulations on your new set of locs! I know you must be so excited! I am happy for you and wishing you a healthy, full set of locs! 💜 Did you count your locs? I couldn't what to know much I had when i started and I was WAY off 😆

Hey Purple 💜 congratulations on 1 year!!! I feel like time has flown by. So that’s definitely bunching and I also stopped braiding and banding around 6 months and had experienced the same thing. If it’s not corrected then the hair will just loc like that and it’ll be hard, big, and hurt to pass through the root when doing reties. You can purchase a tiny crochet needle to correct it
Thank you so much!! Nice to hear from you. Yes time has done it's thing for sure! Yea I had the thought of fixing it but Im not sure if I really want to, the verdict is still out on it for me cause I personally like the way it looks so far and it doesn't feel bad when I interlock it right now but I know that could also change. I hear a-lot of people say its painful for them. I am remaining open to all possibilities. I definitely appreciate your feedback 💜💜💜 How is your journey going! And did you fix your bunching yourself?
@@SocialSymone honestly I think years down the line it all works itself out anyway. I’ll be 2 years locd on July 8 and my hair is about 90% fully locd. I think I have officially “dropped”, I see my length quicker and I’m anticipating how long it’ll be by next July … the way Ima be swangin these locs girl… #ripmeouttheplastic
OMG Congratulations to you! That's right around the corner! I wish you had a channel cause I sure would watch the journey, I just know they must look so nice! I can't wait to hit the milestone your about to hit cause I'd be acting the same way! I bet you must be shocked when you see your before any after 2 years in! 💜 That's so exciting, I'm happy for you!
Thank you and Wait, Third?! 😮 I just know you have a juicy Loc Journey. Do you mind me asking why?! And Congratulations to you as well on starting your new journey! 💜🎉💕🥳
@@SocialSymone Yep 🥲 Third. (Forgive me for this novel) I randomly started my first microloc journey maybe 4-5 years ago and they were gorgeous. I retightened them on my own and everything🥺 I had them in for a year, but then I combed them out because I missed my loose hair. Then maybe 2-3 years ago, I started my second loc journey but by then my hair had began thinning out due to type 2 diabetes and a few other health issues. So I stopped dying it and putting in tight styles, I’ve let it grow naturally since last January and yesterday I took my time and reinstalled with two strand twists! Thank you so much 🙏🏾 you’ve inspired me to try again, your locs are gorgeous! 💜
I don’t mind the novel at all. I love to hear other people’s experiences with their journeys. You definitely have had a ride sis but what I also hear from your journey is a story of resilience! I am rooting for you and I know your Locs are going to be beautiful! You already ahead too cause you know how to maintain them, that’s a blessing. You got this! And thank you! I am always glad to help in anyway 💜💜💜
@@SocialSymone Thank you so much sis! I truly did learn a lot during this journey. I felt a spirit of resilience from you and subscribed because I lost my mom almost a year ago and I watched the video where you lost your father and I just wanted to say that I am *so* inspired and motivated by your journey. Thank you so much for all that you do 🙏🏾💜
You gon make me tear up. 💜 I really appreciate you you sis. Im sorry about your mom passing. I know that pain and I understand how it is. I am grateful that I was able to touch you. It's is such a blessing to be able to connet with people through my journey. I am forever grateful. It truly goes both ways, I'm inspired and motivated by you as well. Sending Virtual Hugs 💕💕💕
