Good morning, I’m a new subbie! Moving can be a challenge! You never know how much you have until you move! I am so sorry for your loss. 😢 I’m sure your daddy is looking down on you beaming with pride! I pray god continues to comfort you and your family. 🙏🏾One day at a time! Just a reminder to love on the ones that are still here! Your hair is gorgeous! I’m about a year in and I love the freedom it gives me. All I have to do is take my bonnet off, shake it around and go. I’m still trying to learn how to retie my own hair, but I need a lil work on my patience! Congratulations on your move and I look forward to seeing your hair journey🤗
Hello and It's great to have you here! And you are so right I have accumulated so much over the years, it was alot lol. I appreciate your well wishes, there's not a day that goes by that I don't miss my daddy, I wish I could tell him about life right now but God makes no mistakes. I am still grateful everyday to be here and you are right, you have to love the ones who are still with us while we can. We are around the same length of time having our locs too! I'm glad to hear that you have a similar experience with the freedom. It is truly priceless!!! Reties do take alot of time and patience but I think it gets better with each one. I appreciate the love and support! 💜💜💜
My hair texture is like yours! I was like is this my hair lol. I love it and thanks for sharing. Moving is a lot. We just moved in October to a new home and I just threw out the last of the boxes this week 🥹
Thank you for your kind words! It's wonderful to hear that you can relate to my hair texture. Yes, Moving can REALLY be quite a task, but congratulations on settling into your new home! It takes time to unpack and organize everything, so don't worry about the timeline. The important thing is that you've made progress and finally bid farewell to those boxes. Enjoy the new chapter in your home and may it be filled with happiness and wonderful memories. Wishing you all the best! 🏡😊
Girl!!! Moving is a process, take your time!!! Congrats on the move!!! Purple number😂😂😂 your hair is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I wish that I wasn’t so afraid I would do it 4sure!!! Yours l👀k’s amazing!!!
Hey Emily! And you are so right, I gotta take it slow. I appreciate you for the love and compliments as always. You are always so supportive of me. 💜💜💜 You can do anything, I also understand being worried.
I’m 6 months in, I’m still loving the process. I don’t take much pictures but I have a couple and I see the big difference my hair has changed. I know you’ve dealt with alopecia, now I do notice that hair has improved some on my edges but would you suggest using oils? You hair is coming along great and yu look beautiful as always.
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your support. Using rosemary oil can be a great option for promoting hair growth. If you're considering trying it on your locs, you could experiment with a lightweight oil to avoid any heavy buildup. I'd apply it sparingly, massage it gently into the scalp. It's always exciting to try new things on our hair journeys. I'm rooting for your continued success! 💜
Congratulations to you on your upcoming move! I'm right outside of San Antonio. I am so happy to be out of Louisiana! And Yes, it's no joke moving. It was just me and my husband moving EVERYTHING. And I still have bruises, scratches and etc from unpacking the uhaul 😂. We had the strap thing that helps you move furniture but you have to put it on your shoulders and I had literal WELTS on my shoulders from moving a couch. NEVER AGAIN! I was doing the work of 16 men! lol. I am wishing you well on your move. 💜💜💜
@@SocialSymone Thank you and congratulations! We are a family of 5 so we about to put these kids to work! 👍🏾KUDOS to you doing all that work! Hope everything is settling well for y’all! I’m in Las Vegas and ready for the southern hospitality in Houston! 😂
Thank you so much! I can imagine having a family of 5 will definitely keep you busy, but it's great that you're involving the kids in the process too. Houston has its own charm, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the warm southern hospitality. Las Vegas to Houston is quite a change, but embracing new experiences is always exciting. Wishing you a smooth transition and a wonderful time in your new home! 😄🏡
Currently in the process of re-tying my hair and I'm already tired 😫. How do you manage your new growth growing into eachother? I tried to push my re-tie to 6 weeks but I couldn't because my new growth was just too much so Im doing it @5weeks. My major problem is the tangling at the roots. Please help 😭 I love your hairrr so much
I feel you all the way sis. I be WORN OUT after my reties 🤣 but its worth it in the end to me. My new growth does really merge at the roots anymore. Whenever I wash my hair, I separate wach loc at the base and It's good from there. Sometime I dont even separated them and they still dont tangle at the roots. Each persons head is different so don't feel down about that. I had the same experience in the beginning of my journey but it went away. 💜 And thank you for the compliment, I appreciate the lov3 and support!

We are in the process in moving to TEXAS! Where are you, Houston? We have 45 days left before the move and I feel your pain 😩
