Alex, if you do a lot of these, you might want go get a collapsible wagon. I do a bunch of grocery orders with different gigs and it makes delivery so much easier.
Thanks for these videos Alex. I subscribed for the reptile content but turns out your gardening/financial plan/gigs videos are even better. Mainly because they take me to a different reality and help me unwind from the day. I actually look forward to watching your new video while eating fast food at 3 am very much. It has become a calming ritual for me and helps a lot with my anxiety. Keep documenting your life and making great content pls :)
I love Amazon Flex, both Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods deliveries. They pay well. There’s nothing like filling your car with tons of groceries . Thank you for sharing how well you did too. Russ
On almost the exact 1 year anniversary of me starting to spread protractor awareness, Taco Bell has decided to get rid of the quesarito (which is objectively the greatest fast food item of all time). I feel like I’m being punished by the universe.
Idk why I saw this comment or why I clicked on his profile...but what is up with you and a protractor? Lmao hope it's an inside joke or are you a teacher?
Hey Alex I’m from Cali. I love fresh just a tip for you if you wanna finish early . Buy a wagon . I just bought my second wagon. It helps a lot when I’m delivering to floor 19 in DTLA.
I work in a Fresh facility picking orders. It isn't a bad side job, I usually do two 5-hour shifts a week. The bags can hold up to 16 pounds, and for some reason (even the managers don't know why) many have gotten much fuller in the last couple of months.
I'll maybe try a gig job when i get a e-bike or something getting a car is too much atm. working on baby steps to various goals and might take up repairing iPhones but that's a hassle due to anti consumer methods apple built into iOS and by binding parts to the motherboard of that specific unit so you replace the screen turn tone won't work & a notification of a not genuine screen will happen. great videos alex!
the app works as a key to apartment buildings, so I can just let myself in. Granted, not every apartment set up a key with Amazon, but I just leave them outside the building in those cases.
I wanted to do gig work because my current job pays poorly. I wanted to do Amazon but if you have a compact car they won't let you deliver so I settled for Instacart. I also couldn't do door dash because my area wasn't accepting new drivers.
I see compact, and even coupes at Amazon, I think they just enter a different car while signing up. You'd just have to make sure you only go with shorter routes to fit everything
Yeah I live over on the east side of NC and I’ve definitely been getting dicked over by DoorDash as a dasher, I’ve barely been able to get any shifts and when I do I only get a half hour and make like $3 from it cause the person didn’t tip. I’m not mad at the people I’m more annoyed at the company cause it keeps jerking me around by telling me it’s busy and then not being busy after literally one minute or it never lets me schedule a time to dash. I can’t use any of the other delivery apps cause they’re all on wait lists
Do you need to already be a flex driver and it's just in the app? Funny you post this today. Saw my neighbors got Amazon groceries at their door before I left for work. Never seen it before.
I get groceries delivered every week since I don't have a car, and for about 2 months, I tried Instacart, but for the reasons you said, I switched to Amazon Fresh. Instacart is expensive, the stores really do not offer that many products, and I hated chatting with the drivers when something was missing. And every week there were several items missing. The replacements always sucked. But most of all, I was annoyed by Instacart's searching algorithms - you look for bananas, but the first 10 products are completely unrelated sponsored products followed by banana protein bars and other things containing bananas, and THEN it finally gives you bananas. I was so annoyed. Amazon does not do this and is much easier. Nothing is ever missing. Everything is always correct and arrives on time. It is great to hear things also from your perspective that Instacart is really not a good deal for the drivers, so I would not want to support it anyway. I really enjoy this content!
Is not true DSP works like hell , they work for cheap and they have to deliver over 100 s of packages per day which is insane , while food groceries it’s only 2 hour route which is couple stops and is done. I never did DSP and never will because I know is hell. But I do Amazon flex and that is most of my favorite job of my life. 😎
I think it depends on where you are delivering for a dsp. My area is rural and super rural, so some of our routes are only 50-60 stops for 10 hours, and then we have some routes that are 180 or more. I honestly prefer to deliver a lot, it's good for the soul my dude.
What app do you deliver Amazon fresh? Is it Amazon flex? I currently do other gig work but this would be something to add to the groceries apps I am already working with.
It makes so much more sense to just do the shopping without delivering and vice versa. Much, much quicker too. You could team up with someone that does shopping all day while you deliver lol
Yeah, I think Instacart would benefit from letting 2 people use 1 account. One person accepts orders and shops, the other delivers while the first person accepts another order. I guess you and a partner could each create an account, and swap phones each time.
Amazon grocery delivery it’s a joke earnings most of the time I avoiding these orderers, waste of time at least in my case . And also the pay is acceptable but having only 1 or 2 grocery blocks a day it’s just Waite of time just to earn about $80 including tips ……. And that does not happen everyday sometimes it’s even worse than that. 👀
You should add the costs of the jobs and the amount of money you have to take out of taxes. So if you make $31/hr after taxes since you file a 1099 for that it’s more like $20 an hour right?
I see a lot of little cars there, including the occasional mini but yeah I'm pretty sure they'll deny you if u put a 2 door. but they also don't actually verify the vehicle, plus I could take any car there and nobody would say anything. So I assume people just lie about it during signup
You asked for feedback on the captions. Only issue I really saw was “simp for amazon” became “simple hands on.” But I was able to follow. Just had to back up there a few times to figure out what you said.
Also, did you say Monday “do be a work day” or Monday is a “double workday?” Captions picked up double, but it sounded like you said it weird. (I rely on captions due to Auditory Processing Disorder)
yeah i said "do be a workday". it seems the captions are pretty good, I try to review them all before posting, but I'm so bad at reading that I miss errors lmao. So if we combined brains, I guess we could conquer the captions
it was around $800 to $1k for materials since I wrapped it myself, quotes were over $3k for a shop to do it. the color is glacial frost by 3m but it's been out of stock for over a year :( I'm really hoping they didn't discontinue it, cause I really need some more lol.
You can tell he really does actually at least kinda enjoy this so that’s good but what about the price of the charging stations do those take away a lot of what you make😊
It depends on how much you made elsewhere being self employed and how many tax deductions you take advantage of. for me, all my income is via self employment so I'm in a higher tax bracket, but get help from accountants to lower my taxable income. But you can acicipate federal, state and self employment tax
I do Amazon flex. There are different categories of deliveries you can do, fresh orders being one of them. Grocery deliveries are highly sought after because you can get tipped on top of your base pay.
Lol why do you think hes wealthy? Its always best to have multiple streams of income. Everyone has as equal of a chance to take shifts as much as he does.

I hope you get that sorted out with the universe. Thank you for your efforts in educating everyone on the extreme benefits of the protractor✊
taco bell had this shredded chicken burrito and nobody could tell me that it wasn’t the best item and then they got rid of it. i feel your pain man.
@@jademount1933 I’m not a teacher. This is not a joke. I’m simply a protractor activist. ✊

Higher minimum amount according to my site. Customers have to spend a little more to get that free shipping I think.

The Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods deliveries are so DA BOMB! My highest route plus tips $120 in little over an hour🎉🎉🎉

Looks easy, but I'm sure appartments are a pain if you have to wait for the customer to come to the lobby.

Yeah same app, if it's in your area, it should be an option when you filter offers alongside prime 2 day, sub same day, whole foods, e tc.
I don't Amazon fresh where I live 😢
my city > ur city
Let's goooo alex dropped a new video
wooooo
I always wonder where the ghosts under the black blankie in the backseat are going ^^.
i need one of those stacked trolleys from the beggining where can i get one lol

I pick orders for them, and we are always careful to get it right.
Still don't have Amazon fresh in my area 5-6 towns away has it though lol
I think I’m going to make my first Amazon fresh purchase this coming week to try it!
Where did all the reptiles go? I haven’t been on in a while. Nothing is reptile related recently I noticed?
Watch his video called “my channel died”.
No Amazon Fresh in my area
You work harder than DSP, which isnt hard, but it should always be something you remember and are proud of.
Is not true DSP works like hell , they work for cheap and they have to deliver over 100 s of packages per day which is insane , while food groceries it’s only 2 hour route which is couple stops and is done. yeah it's through flex. It'll show up as one of the filter options along with prime, same day, whole foods, etc
I like delivery opportunities. ❤I haven’t been picked yet.
If you order Amazon groceries, make sure to only get items sealed in packaging. AMAZON EMPLOYEES WILL SPIT ON, OR PUT THEIR GENITALS ON YOUR FOOD. 😬
It makes so much more sense to just do the shopping without delivering and vice versa. Much, much quicker too. You could team up with someone that does shopping all day while you deliver lol

I wish I could order Amazon Fresh cause the other delivery services around me are garbage. It's not available in my city though. :(

He has an electric car what is there to write off except for charging costs and tires which are close to none?
Mileage. The mileage rate is usually the best tax deduction.
We all know this
bud, ur a rockstar entrepreneur👏👏👏
Should’ve got a model X
i need more than 30/hr for that!
This seems so chill

Do you still own any reptiles?
would they let me do this with a 2 door mini cooper? I heard amazon won't approve people with small sporty cars

why doing Amazon groceries? when you can make $50/hr for Amazon Flex?
Does Amazon give you a suggested route or do you just Google maps it between each one?
With Amazon you can also switch up your stops to your liking, for example there is 6 stops for a route, you can do stop number 4 first if you like
Yes, it does - built in map on their flex app
Alex do you ever look at some of the things people buy it and wonder how they cook with them?
Sometimes you can’t see in the bags since they are sealed with a sticker/staple etc so who knows
i definitely judge it when doing Instacart lol
I pick orders for Amazon Fresh and I once got one that consisted of a Slim Jim. Not plural. Not even a large one.
I get all of my groceries from Amazon fresh.
Do people usually tip you?
Amazon and Instacart, pretty much always. Uber sometimes and doordash rarely
Is this Amazon flex or something unique to Amazon fresh deliveries
I do Amazon flex. There are different categories of deliveries you can do, fresh orders being one of them. Grocery deliveries are highly sought after because you can get tipped on top of your base pay.
And now everyone in my life is going to cringe the billionth time I say wagee dance...thanks.
Does it bug you if you don’t get tipped?
not really, nobody owes me a tip
@GoHerping great mindset. Just that alone will make me tip more than usual.
