One thing I especially like about the title is that some cultures consider blue and green, seen as two distinct colors by western society, to be one single color. Blue and green are adjacent to each other in the "ROYGBIV" lineup after all. Side note: it's not the result of a deficiency in color vision as some people seem to think. It's a linguistic thing, much like saying that "teal" is separate from green and blue.
I have to say it’s a good full circle wrap up of the Orion stories. Still plenty there but for Tindi I feel that is a good way to wrap her back stories up and now move forward.
The design of the Tendi solar ship is strongly evocative of the Vorlon ships from Babylon 5 and the Orion Winc Slugs are a reference to the TNG episode "Menage a Troi", where Lwaxanna states, she would rather eat Orion Wing Slugs than date a Ferengi.

RIP Jeri Taylor, you'll be missed.
Favourite part of the last two episodes is Sean struggling to find an actual down. 'Cause I'm sure with Lower Decks in particular, at times, they're given just to avoid too many sweeps.
4:15 ... When Robin Williams was acting, if his character was clean shaven, he would have to shave twice a day, otherwise you could tell what scenes were filmed in the morning and which ones were filmed in the evening.
Great episode, loved it. I would like to think thr exxilon nebula is a reference to doctor who's exxilon in death to the daleks
Not sure if it's been mentioned in the many comments, but the Blazzard was voiced by Mike McMahon. He originally did it as a scratch vocal and they liked it so much they kept it in. (This story was told by McMahon himself at the premiere at the Newport International Film Festival)
I have it in my head that pyrithian bat milk might also be an old Doctor Who reference.
I love your videos. You are awesome.
Well... the thing with the Tendis getting all the Wealth from the planet... I keep remebering Quarks "Its just worthless gold..." ;-)
I’m okey-dokey for Tenderford 💚
One thing I especially like about the title is that some cultures consider blue and green, seen as two distinct colors by western society, to be one single color. Blue and green are adjacent to each other in the "ROYGBIV" lineup after all.
Side note: it's not the result of a deficiency in color vision as some people seem to think. It's a linguistic thing, much like saying that "teal" is separate from green and blue.
Here I go I refreshed enough to get here this early.
When Tendi hugged Rutherlford, that was NOT an "I miss my friend" hug. THAT was an I love you hug!
This is not the end of the orion arc. i suspect a few more episodes involving them.
Seems odd to be saying this about a star trek animation, but T'Lyn has just become my favorite Vulcan!
taken to soon RIP Jeri Taylor x but one element i love of LOWER DECKS is the music by Chris Westlake he honours all the composers from trek history yet makes it his own to compliment the humour and the storys in STAR TREK tredition to keep it real... he in all of the LOWER DECKS UPS AND Downs... should get a true UP for the 5 series of music i bought the OST (something i didnt do since TNG and DS9 in the 90''s) and i bought it on VINYL he deserves over the 5 seasons the ULTIMATE UP
