    What do you all think of the plug-in? Does it pull off a convincing film look? Let me know! And don't forget to use the code "CHRISRAY" to save 10% off your purchase when you buy!

    Hey Chris, 1st of all I really like your videos :)
    Can you share what format, and what codes you used to export the videos after using Dehancer?
    Also what type of project do you use in FinalCut?

      Hey Josh, thanks so much! As far as formats, I don’t do anything different with our without Dehancer. I shoot in 4k 24fps, import my video files and use ProRes 422 codecs, and export as needed. Projects are all 4k and ProRes 422. Hope that helps or makes sense! Let me know!

    A buddy of mine, used to work with you at a popular fruit stand, recommended your channel. I can already tell, it's gonna be fun to watch you blow up. Great work!

    My question is why don't more people have credits at the end of their reviews because that looked amazing

    • @Christopher_Ray
      @Christopher_Ray  Рік тому +1

      Been a minute since I used that one as I have been using typical scrolling credits lately, but I'd like to think that every one of my videos would have credits in some fashion. :P

    Was wondering why you hadn’t mentioned the Print and CMY color head tools… 🤔

    • @Christopher_Ray
      @Christopher_Ray  Рік тому

      Thought about it, but I wanted to give more of a general overview than a detailed review. I think either the video speaks for itself, or people can download the free trial if they really want to dig in.
      That said, the Print and CMY color head tools work wonders in dialing in the look, for sure!

    Does Dehancer utilize the GPU at all?

    • @Christopher_Ray
      @Christopher_Ray  Рік тому

      Very much so. According to the website, “(Film Grain, Halation, and Bloom) use non-linear operations, sophisticated analysis, finding light sources and contrast edges, working with transformations in the spatial domain, and even completely rebuilding an image from scratch (in the case of grain). This requires a powerful GPU and a large amount of video memory to store all the textures involved in the processing.”
