I hope you guys enjoy this yap session as much as I did hahah I will get back to the vlog style I normally do next week but didn't want to leave you guys hanging!!
Going through the same transitional phase after an engagement that didn’t work out. Your content and transparency means a lot and gives me hope that I can make it to the other side of this. Keep doing you man! You’re an inspiration
I'm sorry to hear that man, I hope you're hanging in there. Staying busy, spending time with loved one, and focusing on yourself has been really healthy for me. Means the world to me that my content can help aid you in the smallest of ways. I love you man!!!
Alex, considering your situation I would consider going abroad for a month rather than New York. That would really be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Also a chance to meet new people. Although I’m biased as that’s what I did and 10 years later I’m still living abroad 😅
I've thought about this as well. I think a month in Barcelona or something like that would be INSANE. I appreciate the input brotha, lots of options!!!
Ultimately you just have to listen to your heart and your gut and you’ll make whatever decision you end up going with the right one! Excited for you in this next chapter
Thanks for keeping us in the loop, Alex! In my opinion, I don't think you should pack up and move to NYC for a long period of time. I think you should go there(or anywhere) for a month or two, get your bearings and breathe a bit, before going back to Las Vegas. It sounds like your family and solid group of best friends are there so you'll always have a home to go back to. I understand moving from Portland is ideal for you, but I remember you mentioned a 9 to 5 in past videos. Would traveling hurt your day job? I enjoy your content and love everything you bring to the channel--you're authenticity is what makes you unique and you're not trying to be someone your not--so keep doing what you're doing. Your outfit fits, DITL, meal preps, are what keep us coming. I would encourage you to try new restaurants and shops and maybe places you haven't been and bring us along, or tidbits so you can stay 'present'. I would have loved to have seen some clips from Colorado...Please take care and have a plan. Talk to your parents or best friend and get their opinions. We'll always be here, but we want you to be happy and not broke and lost.
I loved this. I agree, at this point I'm thinking about bouncing around for a month or two from spot to spot for a bit. And fortunately my 9-5 is remote so I can work anywhere I have internet, I'm very fortunate to have that flexibility. I know I dropped the ball not vlogging the last couple of trips. Honestly sometimes I feel a bit of imposter syndrome and that people won't care to see it... BUT I'm back at it today vlogging a simple day in the life since I'm actually home now haha Thank you so so much for your thoughts and support!!
The Big Apple you should do it but yeah Vegas as an ultimate plan is dope! Ever considered here in my neck of the woods South Florida? Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami
Just discovered your chanel, and love what your doing fashionwise. Also appreciating your honesty and authenticity with your audience. These transitional phases in life can sometimes feel very challenging, but try to look at it as an opportunity do revamp yourself and to do something new and exciting! Try to take advantage of all turns and twists life throws at you, it might just lead to something far greater to discover down the line. Contentwise I´d love to see more NY vlogs, or any sort of traveling. Keep up the good work man!
So glad you found the channel and thank you! I've drifted a bit away from fashion on UA-cam but am going to try and work in more fit checks for dinners/occasions! I appreciate everything you said here and definitely agree. Honestly, I'm more excited for the unknown at this point and cant wait to see what comes next
Thanks for filling us in! Love daily vlogs! Some fitness content, food content would be dope! And def some more GRWM! Would love to see what you’d wear to a summer music festival!
More situational fits, work, gym, casual/running errands, out for dinner & drinks. Also easy at home exercises and fitness tips. Thanks and enjoy all the content!
Followed you for a while - holla from Scotland! The positive is you have this great opportunity of some freedom before Vegas. I love ny, been a fair few times. What about road trippin'? Appreciate the comments about putting self online. I had similar thing with insta, made one for a podcast i do, didnt realise as my mobile number was linked to the account it then recommended it too all my friends and family months down the line!!! Dont know why i was worried in the first place!
Scotland!! So sick. Roadtripping is also in the cards, I was thinking about bouncing around a few states on the west coast after NYC.. still deciding haha So funny isn't it, who cares what people think. Just gotta go for it as long as it makes you happy
I love UA-cam but its more of a passion and way to connect deeper with you guys, I hardly make any money from it. Whereas IG could be a fulltime gig. So I guess it depends on your goal!!

Couldn't agree more, thank you for saying that!! Trying not to put too much pressure on the decision and let it come to me naturally

best comment right here ❤
Disagree about nyc for a few months. To get the full impact you need to be here for 2 years minimum.

I’d rather see Las Vegas content from you! There are so many NYC vlogers already 😂
There’s nothing to vlog in Vegas aside from the strip
All strip clubs and poker while wearing Abercrombie jeans lol
Thanks for filling us in! Love daily vlogs! Some fitness content, food content would be dope! And def some more GRWM! Would love to see what you’d wear to a summer music festival!

@alex do you recommend starting off on UA-cam or IG first?
I love UA-cam but its more of a passion and way to connect deeper with you guys, I hardly make any money from it. Whereas IG could be a fulltime gig. So I guess it depends on your goal!!

You’re not going to look back 10 years from now a regret “that time I moved to New York for a few months”
