Graves imo has to be one the coolest ppl to come to COD in a while, ive always loved Shadow Company since the OG MW2 but i love how in MW2 2022 they gave them a bigger storyline if u get what i mean
@@surge1533 u gotta remember Alex is CIA, his only plan is to help Farah, as Farah said where not here for Rumors, but I think Alex just doesn't care or he doesn't know the full Story
@@Deathmare235 You know when he betrayed Ghost, Alejandro, And Soap, i was mad about him but he died, and weeks later, i was a little bit mad of why he's still alive.
It’s probably the best one cause he can blend in quite nicely and be able to get his gear on, next to Soap’s iconic Navy t shirt, blue jeans, camp pants and boots it’s one of the cooler operator outfits, also that Graves is wearing a denim or a work shirt which really pairs well with his jeans
I remember the first night this game dropped my buddy and I were doing a play through and in reference to the cutscene of Graves in the C130 he referred to him as the “dude with a lip in” (since the actor and character do seem to talk with a particular facial mannerism ex 0:27 ) and ever since then I personally feel like it should be a neat little touch to his character of him packing a can or rocking a spitter every once in awhile, it’s something you’ve never seen in a cod game for a character as far as I’m aware of yet it’s one of the most common things you’ll see in this line of work. (IMO) Regardless it’s a canon character trait to me, fits his style.
@@eugene_mutibwa Chewing/Spitting Tobacco such as “Copenhagen” or “Grizzly” obv not a good habit but vapes are no longer authorized and nobody wants to walk to smoke pit and smell like an ashtray all day. And a spitter is what you’d refer to the water or Gatorade bottle you’ve got covered in tape tucked into your pocket as, so you’re not just spitting everywhere like the Wild West. “Zyn” nicotine pouches are quickly gaining favor but I imagine Dip will always stick around.
I genuinely think Graves was far more interesting than Shepard. His more grounded attitude due to being actually deployed and fighting is better than Shepard who just sits at a desk. Also one of the reasons why the original MW2 Shepard was way better since he actually fought along side his men as a General (Although in real life that’s a very dumb decision but good for a video game story)
It's just his ingame model is (likely) different from the one from the cutscenes, largely because the cutscenes seem to have better lighting. At 3:22 you can see the resemblance to the model we got in season 5 (likely the one they used). We just rarely see graves outside of cutscenes though
Im going to be honest when I first played the campaign, I did not think graves was dead at all not for a single second. When I was playing the final tank boss where graves was talking to soap. It sounded like he was talking through an intercom because tanks don’t actually have megaphones to project what someone is saying outside. So after we killed the tank I was like “ok let go kill graves” then soap said “we killed graves” I was like “when? There was no way in hell he was in the tank”. So yea if you payed attention carefully you could tell he was not dead from the start.
Im curious if we can touch upon the backstory of Graves I still dont understand why Adler and Graves has not yet comeback for free or Release free version In codm but oh well money talks
Graves and Adler are probably the two coolest new characters they added in a while in this new cod era
Hell yeah both are good
Don't forget Alejandro
Alejandro and Alex too
I agree 😊
@@Deathmare235 Alex actually was pretty meh, a purely good soldier but no charisma, even Rodolfo would beat him in that.

0:21 I like the attention to detail with the sound delay of the explosion because of the speed of sound
So that tank was a remote AI tank. Good Graves that was real good.
Probably some type of a bigger UGV than the one Yuri used in MW3.
Or just maybe he sent some other shadow guy and was pretending that he was in the tank...

I'm very confused. Is graves a good guy or a bad guy? Is shadow company bad? Where does roze end up in all this?
Roze quit shadow company and joined Kortac before the events of MWII. Graves just works for the highest bidder, who was General Shepard.
Graves just works for shepherd and switches from good to bad when it benefits him
