Hey all! I'm back with some more Your Lie in April!
Embarrassingly enough, Watashi no Uso was shelved for nearly a year (along with some other arrangements.... Shhhhhhh..). I've tried time and time again to arrange it, but it never really clicked with me-- until recently.
I knew that I needed a tuning that allowed me to play with my entire fretboard and provide a wide range of dynamics. This much was necessary as the original composition was played on the piano, allowing for bass notes to be played two or three octaves lower than the melody. So, after an entire year of struggling to arrange this song in standard and dropped D, I concluded that I needed to find an alternate to my home tuning, CGDGBe. The altered form that I use in this arrangement is CGDGCe, where B is increased half a step to C. This led me to discover two more arrangements that worked really well in the new tuning: Koe no Katachi's main theme and Steins;Gate 0's ending theme... But that's neither here nor there. (just be on the look-out for them in the near future! ;) )
Despite its shortcomings, Your Lie in April holds a special place in my heart. After all, its musical theme was what inspired my high school self to launch a UA-cam channel-- a platform served to reach as many people as I could with my music. And so, after I was able to find the tuning to Watashi no Uso, I decided not to get too technical and recorded my rendition once I was able to provide a few textures to choose from for each section. Arranging took around a week, and because of that, it shaped an improvised recording that I put my heart and soul into. I hope you guys enjoy it.

this anime is something that i kinda hate that i see it and at the same time im happy and having no regrets watching it,am i a loser for crying to an anime? I guess i am,yet this anime is beyond beautiful yet everything is not perfect,like the ending,and i hate how Kaori had to go leave Arima that way,Kaori did everything she can to make sure she wont regret doing anything before she went away,well sadly we wouldn't know if Kaori know that Arima had the same feeling towards her.
She shouldn't have told him that She loved if she Loved him really cuz That made him sad, and He would hesitate to love another girl😞

Thật buồn cười khi mình lại viết một lá thư gửi đến một người như cậu...
Cậu là đồ tồi tệ.
Đồ thiếu quyết đoán, nhẹ dạ cả tin, một chàng ngốc đúng nghĩa.
Nhưng...
Lần đầu tiên mình nhìn thấy cậu trình diễn, đó là khi mình vừa tròn 5 tuổi, nhân dịp chuyến giao lưu nghệ thuật của ngôi trường mẫu giáo mình theo học lúc đó. Lúc đó, mình đã thấy một cậu bé lúng túng, vụng về đến nỗi làm ngã cả ghế piano trên sân khấu. Những tưởng khi đó, chiếc piano kia cứ như một chướng ngại khổng lồ so với cậu bé. Mình suýt bật cười khi nhìn thấy cảnh tượng ấy. Nhưng khi cậu bé ngồi xuống và bắt đầu dùng đôi bàn tay bé nhỏ để gõ vang lên nốt nhạc đầu tiên, mình như bị cuốn hút.
Mình vẫn còn nhớ cái âm thanh đẹp tuyệt vời khi đó, những giai điệu ngân vang như nhảy múa, những giai điệu tràn đầy màu sắc, cứ như những nốt nhạc ấy được tô điểm bởi một hộp chì màu 24 cây vậy.
Khi những giai điệu lộng lẫy đó vang lên, một bạn gái ngồi bên cạnh mình bắt đầu khóc, mình đã thật sự ngạc nhiên.
Và ngay cả khi cậu có thể tạo nên một thứ âm thanh như vậy, cậu lại quyết định từ bỏ piano ? Ngay cả khi cậu và cái thư âm thanh tuyệt vời kia đã thay đổi hoàn toàn cuộc sống của vài người ?
Cậu là đồ tồi tệ, đồ thiếu quyết đoán, nhẹ dạ cả tin, đồ ngốc !
Vài năm sau đó, khi mình vô tinh biết được mình và cậu học chung trường, mình đã thật sự phấn khích. Nhưng làm thế nào để làm quen với cậu đây ? Hay là thử bắt chuyện với cậu vào giờ nghỉ trưa ? Hay là... Mình đã suy nghĩ như vậy nhưng rốt cuộc, mình chỉ đứng nhìn từ xa...
Bởi vì mình đã thấy, cậu vui vẻ, cười đùa cùng với những người bạn của cậu. Mình khi đó, cảm thấy, người như mình, thì không nên ở bên cạnh cậu và các bạn của cậu.
Vì sao à ? Khi mình còn nhỏ, mình đã luôn phải đi đến bệnh viện để kiểm tra sức khoẻ. Ngày nhập học đầu tiên ở ngôi trường này, mình đã bị ngất và lại phải vào bệnh viện cấp cứu. Và cứ mỗi lần như vậy, số ngày mình luôn phải ở trong bệnh viện để theo dõi ngày càng dài ra. Thật sự thì, mình rất, rất ít khi đến trường để học, và hầu hết thời gian mình đều ở trong bệnh viện. Từ nhỏ mình đã biết, là có gì đó không ổn đối với cơ thể mình rồi.
Cứ thế cho đến một đêm nọ, mình vô tình thấy cha và mẹ mình ngồi khóc ở ngoài phòng chờ bệnh viện. Lúc đó, mình biết thời gian của mình chẳng còn lại được bao lâu.
Đó là lúc mình bắt đầu quyết định.
Mình không muốn mình lên thiên đường cùng với sự hối hận. Mình quyết định không kiềm chế nữa, và cố gắng làm những gì mình muốn làm
Mình không còn sợ khi đeo kính sát tròng.
Mình ăn mọi thứ mình thích, thay vì cứ lo lắng về cân nặng của mình
Mình vứt bỏ hết những rập khuôn cũ rích trong âm nhạc, và chơi theo cách mình có thể tận hưởng nó.
Và sau đó, mình đã nói dối, tất nhiên chỉ một lời nói dối.
Mình nói dối rằng, mình, Miyazono Kaori, thích Watari Ryouta.
Và lời nói dối vào tháng tư ấy, đã mang mình đến gần hơn với cậu.
Xin lỗi Watari giùm mình nhé, mặc dù bây giờ mình khá chắc cậu ta cũng quên mình rồi ( teehee )
Người mà mình thích là một người nghiêm túc với một trái tim ấm áp cơ
Mà chắc cũng không sao, tại vì mình và cậu ấy là bạn mà.
Và cũng xin lỗi Tsubaki giùm mình nhé
Mình đã không tài nào nói ra được những suy nghĩ của mình cho cô ấy, rằng mình muốn nhờ cô ấy giới thiệu mình, Miyazono Kaori, làm quen với cậu, Arima Kousei. Mình đã muốn mình và cô ấy sẽ trở thành đôi bạn thân, với không có một cảm xúc khó xử nào giữa hai người
Mà chắc hẳn nếu mình có hỏi cô ấy về điều đó thì cô ấy cũng chẳng chịu trả lời mình đâu. Bởi vì, sau tất cả, Tsubaki thích cậu mà. Mình và Watari đều biết điều đó.
Mặc dù mình chắc chắn 100% rằng cậu không biết rằng cô ấy thích cậu, và chắc chắn Tsubaki cũng không hề biết cô ấy đã thích cậu, ngạc nhiên chưa ?
Lời nói dối của mình đã đưa mình đến gần hơn với cậu, mặc dù, không được như tưởng tượng của mình

the pdf version sounded alittle different alot of the open string notes didn't sound like in the one in the video. I found most of the open strings sounded more alike to the video when I played them on the first fret
