Agreed. Aiko's endearing voice fits the song perfectly (the portion where she sings "darling" is untouchable). The only way I could ever come close to such an intimate song was to rearrange it in a way that allowed the guitar to sing its unique voice while maintaining the original song's vibe. I used to play guitar a little ago, I have never had skills to play any song to sound like the original. I used to play simple songs and then I found this channel, it had a lot of songs I liked and I really loved how Tam arranged them and it had tabs available for each song, I got excited even knowing I could never play any of them, then this arrange got released, Koe no Katachi is my fav movie so I had to learn this one and I practiced a lot, a lot a lot a lot whenever I had spare time. I learned it after some weeks of hard work but I never managed to sound like Tam, it didn't sound good at all yet I feel good playing it over and over. I had some problems and I needed money so I had to sell my guitar, this was the last song I learned. I havent seen any of your videos untill today and I cried, feel a lot of nostalgia even though it was not so long ago, thank you so much Tam
I also learned your lie in april songs from tam lu and i admit i cant play it nice and clean like tam lu...but i know someday i will be able to play like him...i hope you can play guitar again because music make's people happy...and stay safe
bruh, that's more than a lot of us. Learning music is just math, learn it step by step. Age or "skill" (whatever that is) don't matter. Only do, "there is no try," as Yoda says. Also, practice doing artificial harmonics on each open string, both with your thumb plucking from behind, with your pointer finger on the string, and then also with your middle finger plucking from behind and your pointer finger on the string. I suck dick at guitar, but I love the artifical harmonics sound. Just keep doing that until you can keep the pointer finger still while the other finger plucks, it's so dope getting that sound bro.
It has been whole 3 years ,and his arrangement always make me feel nostalgic because the arrangement is perfect for that.I come back to this channel every years.It always make me feel a hard deep pain that no one ever done since my uncle's death.It's what keep me who I am(not lying,it's true.).Although I am not that good as him ,but at least I can now play most of his work. I wanna know how he arrange the song, oh my god, this style of arrangement is frickin hard.I'm sure that It will take me about 3 more years if i practice 2 hours a week to able to create this style of arrangement.

I can finally do this!!! This cover was the sole reason I started guitar and making covers. Also made me watch my first anime. This song is so monumental to me. I've started practicing this 2-3 years ago and back then I can barely do the intro and everything was still impossible. But now I can actually do a full playthrough playing along with this video. Didn't really grind the practice but work on my own phase and finally I can execute and play the piece now. I was learning this song like 1year ago, have been stopped becauss of too much practice and the songs become boring, back then i was almot completely done learning this beautiful song but im still not mastering it. Since that i go practice another song by another and after a long time i was remembering my great journey learning this song when i was so weak, beginner and innocent lookalike. I have so mant confident that i mastering this great song and tamlu was such a great guitarist arrangement i really appreciate tam lu beacuse of his arrangements sounds like an orchestra yet only played by 1guitar and 1man, sadly tamlu has gone for like about 3years and i hope tamlu can become successful and comeback entertaining us
