While not many people watch these videos I think all of us that do tbink they are enjoyable and helpful. Thanks for the tutorials and being so quick with them
indeed not something a lot of people would watch and trust me im super picky with the youtuber i watch but this dude s videos are really helpfull and entertaining, subbed after the 2 first episodes
I have an engineering mind, I can take the problems this game gives me and find technical solutions easily, and I know almost every mechanic, but im so damn messy I always die of heatcreep and lose time to transit. This game is actually really hard.
Skye when storing polluted water in a tank like that it will start to sublimate and fill the nearby area with polluted oxygen. One quick work around is to pour a little of clean water on top. Keep up the great work.
I cannot tell you how useful this guide is so far. I have been really struggling with how to get into the mid-game- how to the various filters, pipes, purifiers and what-not work. This is a clear, well explained video for noobs like me and I will be eagerly awaiting every new one! Good job!
I've been going through some of your past play-throughs, and I love the updates and changes made to the game. Plus it is really interesting to see your learning curve.
I have never commented on a UA-cam video before, and I watch alot of lets plays, but you do an outstanding job of explaining how the game mechanics work without taking away from showing how enjoyable the game is. Thank you for showing off this amazing gem of a game!
I've been playing this for a long time but I must admit that I'm still quite a newb with all the late game stuff and frankly even with some mid game set ups. I'm enjoying this playthrough. I've already learned a couple of tricks. Thank you! I look forward to learning more.
I'm rewatching your agricultural upgrade series while waiting for these episodes to come out. Just finished episode 7 and oh my lord have they ever cleaned this game up! It is so much more polished more. I love the priorities, tasks, skills and how you can set certain people to go into rooms. VERY excited to see how this series progresses!
Finally end of working day! What to do next? 1. grab some sweets 2. press the like button 3. press play 4. relax and watch the slackers doing their shift
I do love your enthusiasm for all the games you play! Thank you for doing this series...was sorta borderline on buying it as it looked way too complicated for my wee little brain cell, but after watching several of these "how to" videos, coupled with your energy, I went ahead and purchased the game. Was either that or remod Skyrim SE...again..LOL...Seriously, thank you!
These tutorials are great! The game was very intimidating to me since I had to figure out everything by myself. There's so many little details. This makes the game much more manageable and fun. Thanks a lot.
Hi Skye, this was the first series where I found you, so it is nice to see it again. I understand why you stopped though, haha! I'd love to see some ranching, I started an asteroid and there is almost no seeds! Gotta get dem meats!
It would be really helpful if you had like a website or preferably a pdf of each of the things you methodically tackled in all your videos, excellent videos and game planning BTW
After falling behind on playing and getting to grips with the updates, I was kinda thinking that I wouldn't be able to cope with playing the Launch. Then I found you. :) I like your laid back style and it looks like things are slightly easier (at least at this level of difficulty and planet) . Hopefully it is because things are less frantic and easier and it is not only beause you make it seem so unintimidating and playable. :) I've subscribed & am really enjoying your playthrough. Thank you.
I just got the game and Normally I like to kind of figure things out as I go or just on my own. This game makes life hard but it don't happen right away. I've spent 10 hours on my first go and now im seeing how doomed they will be very soon lol. At the point of to much effort to save it cause I was clueless at the start. Great vids so far!
i think you should update this playlist with the nice DLC that came out and i would like a little more info on how and why you did some things as well to please and thank you. Over all this is very helpful for new players like me thank you for that.
I find it hilarious when they are in a place that has some oxygen, then some non-breathable, and then they just keep switching from their holding breath face, to normal every .5 seconds.
Tbeh I'm not a huge fan of these as guides, you do stuff or say stuff without explaining the why behind it, or in some cases we only find out why much later. Eg putting the rations box in CO2 in ep1, then the refrigerators this ep the same, you eventually skimmed over it, but for someone just starting out that's not clear. I'm still going to watch them as they're moderately entertaining, but I would've preferred a bit more insight from an experienced player into the game...
For those who are curious but too lazy to google: HONCLBRIF stands for Hydrogen Oxygen Nitrogen Chlorine Bromine Iodine Flourine ( elements that exist as diatomic molecules )
so I have been looking for a game similar to stationeers but in 2D. one thing I really like about stationeers is gass management, looks like this could be my game...yes?
Maybe someone can help me create heat in an ice asteroid? Seems like nothing really produces any heat when you play those biomes; in a standard level a single coal generator can cook your whole colony if you're not careful... in ice it doesn't even crack the freezing threshold? Makes eating food kinda hard.
@Tieyme I am new to the game, sorry for a silly question- how does storing them in CO2 help keep them cold, or does the game not factor that in for storage?
I might have missed it if you explained or I'm dumb, but what are the "Carbon Dioxide Traps" for? Are they just a lower temperature and will cause the fridges to work without power? Will they overflow and the rooms start to fill up with carbon dioxide too?
@@SkyeStorme Ah nice. Thanks for the tips, my save, even though it's probably like my 30th attempt and I'm over 30 years old I'm garbage, these videos are super useful, enjoy when you explain stuff. Definitely going to have to copy that Pole / Ladder / Gap trick if nothing else. Might even take the same seed you used and have a go imitating your save to try and learn through imitation.
Really, we're just going to ignore HONClBrIF? You said "if you want to know why that acronym exists, don't Google it..." so of course I did anyway. I don't really get the joke though. I can't find anything on the history of the term, just the fact that it's an acronym to help remember diatomic elements
Hoember yes, but with the way he plays games he needs to start thinking about it because when he’s gonna want everyone to have a luxurious bathroom (or any other expensive water thing) he’s gonna lay down and cry

@@SkyeStorme DO MORE!!! 2020!!! PLEASE DO MORE ADVANCE STUFF AND NEW STYLES AND TECHNIQUE!!! MACHINERY AND STUFF ETC!!!!!!!!!
Man, watching someone who's actually good at the game is so much more satisfying than playing it myself
God I suck at video games

that is why playlist exist

Already got the game for SGD20 during Alpha after watching Skye play it. Totally worth it.

I like watching you play "Oxygen not includes" again.

9:55 "I want to do this only once"
Ha! I'll believe it when I'll see it! 😁
Jokes aside, I don't think you can future proofing your base in ONI...
I'm oddly obsessed with this series tbh
Just noticed the intro is a play on the Monty Python foot. lol poor Alex fell face first into the compost pile for sleepy time.
Can't wait for the next installment!
This is so addicting as someone who has the game but completely felt overwhelmed I have vastly enjoyed this experience so thank you! =)
Glad you found it useful! :)
I was interaly screaming when you selected liquid for the polluted water basin
Working on my second base my first didn't last long as I made it wholly unoptimized. I'm doing well and have enough food to support 6 Dupes.
Love these videos Skye, keep 'em coming!
Klei Games are great, keep up the good job!

Fairly new to the game, you're info and tips are always easy to learn from. Thank you for making these vids!

I find it hilarious when they are in a place that has some oxygen, then some non-breathable, and then they just keep switching from their holding breath face, to normal every .5 seconds.
I don't understand why you put the one oxygen diffuser at the top of the base rather than the bottom. Oxygen goes up, CO2 goes down, right?
Yeah, but if too much CO2 builds up at the bottom, then the pressure will become too high for any O2 to be produced as there will be too much CO2
@@boopie577 Ah. Thanks for the answer.
Poor Alex, missed out twice on upgraded hats.

Damn you have a beastly pc
so I have been looking for a game similar to stationeers but in 2D. one thing I really like about stationeers is gass management, looks like this could be my game...yes?
Awsome again. Why does the refrigerator not need power in carbon dioxide? Dosent it still spoil?
@Tieyme ty for the reply :)
Fridges are 1 tile wide and 2 tiles high .. so you can store twice as much in a 2 tile wide area
look, I KNOW why you did it and I KNOW it works fine but I just cant get past the fact you put the kitchen next to the poop processing area!
already thinking this is way too easy for you, start again with ultra hard mode , we like to see some difficulties
The only oni play through I find helpful..The rest r so technical and complex for noobs like me
SKYE you DONT need to double doors! you waste lots of resourcess by doing so, a normal wall tile works perfectly fine instead
Laura_milne I think he does it for airflow. Yes he could use airflow tiles but they decrease morale, so be uses double doors instead.
Correct Redwing :)
have you got a new improved hat for Alex?
Yes :)

thanks your video =)
You forgot to power the refrigerators
@Tieyme I am new to the game, sorry for a silly question- how does storing them in CO2 help keep them cold, or does the game not factor that in for storage?
CO2 is considered 'sterile' so food doesn't go bad :)
@@SkyeStorme Lovely, cheers
Buying game now 😁
Woot! Enjoy it!
Damn, wish I didn't already buy the game. 33% bruh
Aug 2019 - HONClBrIF hits all-time record on google search.
That's a good deal for ONI... but I made the purchase over a year ago, so too late for me. I've already spent many hours enjoying it.
I might have missed it if you explained or I'm dumb, but what are the "Carbon Dioxide Traps" for? Are they just a lower temperature and will cause the fridges to work without power? Will they overflow and the rooms start to fill up with carbon dioxide too?
CO2 is considered a 'sterile' gas .. so food doesn't rot

Well of course Oxygene is not perfect. It's not included!
I've been playing this game for weeks now and still doesn't understand how a lot of these stuffs works.
Any chance we could get the world seed you've been using for this series?
I showed the map seed at the beginning of Ep 1 :)
do another play through please
BrINClHOF is the better acronym change my mind
Can only be bought at Steam?
Would buy a game there, some years ago, than lost my password and thus the game 🙁
These episodes are too short 😂.
