Brilliant step by step guide, also handy to know the handbrake self adjusts after brake pad replacement, no one mentions this on the forums. Finally got around to doing this job. Was much easier than I expected and had no issues whatsoever with the electric handbrake. I rewound it as per the video and then used a normal caliper retracter to push the piston back in. Once done, I turned the ignition on and pressed the handbrake button. It took just a moment to calibrate and all was good...no errors or warnings. One thing I did find is that the audible warning tab on the brake pads are absolutely useless. The tab is on the inner pad, however the inner pad still had loads of pad left and so the warning never triggered. The outer pads were almost down to the metal so I just caught them in time.
