A suggestion- try to remove the word "like" from these scripts. Most of the time is used here it is unnecessary or can be replaced with a better way to say it. At the minimum, stoicism sounds strange when it also sounds like a Valley Girl "Like, TOTALLY"

Crying happy tears because I've lived this. I have autism, Aspergers Syndrome. Stoicism is what saved me in a world that tries to make me like them. Hey Life, Throw Whatever At Me, I can handle it through my very personal Stoic Practice. Momento Mori is crucial in my autistic life. If you have autism, or you know someone who does, please embrace this new perspective to live more authentically no matter what happens to you. IMHO this makes me happy everyday.

To begin, I'd like to note that I'm aware of how the post is unordinary. I respect the question and I appreciate the opportunity to express my reasoning. Simply said, it is only the prevalence of a single theme(images), which becomes the mascot of the subject, that I consider noteworthy. Such as the theme of a music genre is the instrument/decor that comprise it; be it heavy metal as black or jazz as a saxophone. One would not be interchangeable to anybody, they are as they are assigned.
Comprehensively, the answer is complex. The last two years have seen a significant rise in stoic videos. Prior, when typing in stoicism one would find an immense collection of quotes, which presented no more than the knowledge. I could tell you that I'm biased; my transition in life where I would wake and hear the deep voice repeating the same thing over and over, many times I didn't believe them or understand. But, they were ingrained so that when something happened I became more likely to confront them in my mind; forcing me to be aware of the moment. I will say that I went to the gym every morning at 4 am for 6 months straight just to go to outdoor work at 6 without a jacket, hiding and doing push-ups to warm up hoping that nobody would catch me. I mention this to touch base.
Now I'll begin, you ask me the question; I answer that it's irrelevant to me because of its nature, it is an impression. One of my own, biased, and one of judgment. Yet I know it is insignificant as a concept; the use of any image means nothing to me. What captures me is the potential of its influence. The psychology is as it is, reasonably we are all impressionable to the external; it takes practice and vigilance to tame the mind to be within itself as mindfulness, as it is when addressing the external. Mindfulness is observing the internal as well as observing others just as closely as your mind, conscientiousness. When one is concentrating on the external, only observing themselves as another would in 3rd person, how they see me, how I am thought of, etc; they nurture the "impression" of themselves, not the reality. The existential epiphany that we are the exact product of our environment, we are ourselves a combination of our peers and idols, the subconscious preferences that determine the concepts we 'enthuse' into our life. When we feel pleasure, we enthuse it in our minds and as we do so, the thought becomes prominent. We talk ourselves into ok doing tasks because we envision something to hold as a reward for doing so. It is called conditioning; that is what the quotes did to me as I had them ingrained, burnt into my memory so much so that when I encountered negativity; my internal view of myself was confronted with the voice "Your mind will take the shape of what you frequently hold in thought, for the mind is colored by such impressions." I didn't understand impressions, but I understood that my mind would take the color of my thoughts. It became an (Uber ego) as you would. Demanding me to respect it because I knew it was true, eventually, it would become true enough to learn from its use in my environment so I could become a student of stoicism instead of a student of society. To me, that is a special process towards becoming a true sentient being. I mention all of this because it is easilY explained by saying that stoic wisdom only truly came to me once I became indifferent to the desire to present myself as a physical form and began to value the influence that I could have through the 'choices' that I made in every moment, which were guided by quotes that acted as direction signs. My life changed when I saw that the universe was created by me through my ability to choose to be perpetually aware of my actions, handling every moment with care and duty. I look back and I see that even in my humility in extraordinary results and rewards from physical training, my desire to be pretentious outweighed the humility by giving me a reason to have humility (my body gave me a reason to be humble). This was a divisive thought that separated me from others and my ability to truly become a figure of benevolent influence.
Simply, the colors of our minds are what we frequently hold in thought. An impression is an enemy that divides you from reality, as you'll be within a fabricated veil of your own interpretation. Impressions in our environment are the colors that we interpret, so the interpreters within must be themselves blind to all but grey. Only then would our identity become free from the binding colors that delude us in perceiving our identity as truth. It's an illusion, as all things in the world are illusion; we are ourselves delusions until we begin to understand that colors are nothing but our unique optical interpretation; just as animals don't see the same spectrum we see; they're led towards the ones they do. Just as we do not see anything but our own spectrum, we do not desire to be uncomfortable while the ability to feel pleasure is visible in our interpreted environment and is easily accessed. The worth in abstaining from indulgence is the enthusiasm of indifference as gray. Impressions of existence are all choices; in essence, you could call this the moment of literal rebirth as a new and determined entity by one's own will. That's not going to be achieved if one's thoughts are directed towards an image; we're slaves to the environment, and the concept of freedom must be the impression which demands the slave to straighten, not be straightened by the environment.

Thank you so much for this. I live here in the Philippines and it's rare to find like minded men that loves these types of teachings and principles here in the province. I wish I can meet stoic people too. Nonetheless, I am thankful for God not giving me anything I would like every time I wish. I am thankful for all of my struggles and misfortune that has shaped me for who I am today. Blessed all the stoic people, let us all have inner peace whatever our religion is.

It’s odd that I’ve always had the majority of this mindset. I had no idea that I fit into a category. I’ve been called stoic by different people over the years…I had no idea what it meant, I’m missing a couple of these things, but over all, I can tell those who are watching this, that after 50 years of following the majority of these things…I have been reasonably successful throughout my life continuously moving forward and never dwelling on failures or setbacks. One thing that I have always said to myself, and to others when I make mistakes, or if people dislike me or insult me for what ever reason is, “I LIKE ME JUST FINE” It works like a charm, especially when others treat you unjustly…or insult you to your face, saying those words out loud…shows them that their negative opinion of you has no effect on you… the amount of confidence it gives you about yourself is profound. Be well

@@jessicaagosto3633 Really, well that’s great! I’ve passed this on to those who doubt themselves and worry about the opinions of others to give them confidence. The truth is, the opinions of others do not matter as much as the opinion that you have of yourself. If you like you, who cares what anyone else thinks. It’s served me well because…I LIKE ME JUST FINE. Thank you, Be well.
