Very nice kata! Especially like to see some off-meta kata from Moto. But man... can we please stop with the zoom ins during performances. Especially at places like 4:11 due to the zoom-in you can't see what is going on. Just keep the same production principle as its in the Japanese tournaments, keeping the same angle during performance, so the full body is visible.
I have the impression that Kakeru Nishiyama is going to disassemble or melt, it's like a slime is practicing Karate. It's very strange, I believe there's a lack of resistance.
No, it doesn't influence, look at the time of Ryūei-ryū athletes, with the "simple" and short Anan kata, in this example Tsugo Sakumoto and Ryo Kiyuna spent decades on the international podium
@@blumy. fair enough. I’m just saying all things being equal, a more difficult kata has to separate. I mean, both of these kata were fantastic; but one kata had more to show than the other.
@@geantr and lost. Why did he lose with the short kata? What mistake did he make? Or what did the other competitor do to outshine other than the kata chosen?

Yes, I don’t even know why they zoom to their faces. Can’t really watch all their performances
I believe that Nishiyama's Kata in such slow pace may please the judges but it loses part of the karate essence.
6:10 ain't no way he said the next Kiyo Ryuna 😭😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The second kata put you in more suspense
AO kata name?
Karate❤
solo le dieron preferencia al kata mas largo🙄 no valoraron albque tenia mas firmesa y mejor tecnica. Kazumasa estaba mucho mejor en todo

Level of difficulty of kata absolutely plays into judging. I don’t buy that rule at all.

i does a little, but you can still beat your opponent even with heian katas. Technique plays a massive role in judgment

@@pagekaratevlog yeah, i totally agree
