I love the ROAE, closest thing to a race we’ll ever get at Mcnutt. I had a lot of fun with a buddy trying to do it at a race pace with a few breaks here and there, you passed us on the rocks on Ferret. I found it fun trying to get around and pass people, they might have not felt the same way on a couple of those passes. 😂 I’ve bent and/or broken countless parts at Mcnutt, always something it seems.
I look forward to the ROAE every year tool. An actual race at McNutt would be carnage everywhere! I 100% would have got myself into more trouble if I tried to go race pace 😂 Saw you there on ferret, been seeing you at a lot of the races! You’re the guy with the TM. Good luck this weekend if you’re racing monkey wrench!
Bulletproof Designs pegs? I broke a peg at McNutt last month. I took a picture with proof of purchase and they had my replacement peg mailed out the next day. Great customer service.
Aftermarket pegs, they were supposed to be bulletproof! Funny thing is my stock pegs are also damaged. I got a small nic in the hose that goes to the water pump, no idea how that happened, it’s got good protection from the pipe on that side.
@@MrSinner6000 I also dropped the bike on the opposite side (Left) so that’s an even bigger mind f@$k! Might have to upgrade the hose. I was lucky the hole was right next to the clamp, I cut maybe 1/2” off the end and stuck it back on. Seems good for now.
Many bottle necks for sure, it’s not too bad if you get out in front. By the time I got to Olga the party had left and it was all blown out. Rocks and roots were polished and covered in mud.
@@stanbarry The last ROAE I participated in was 2018 where I destroyed my shoulder and still finished the A Loop. I got out front early and stayed there till the end purely because there was no way in hell I wanted to fight through crowds of people who never should have been on those trails. McNutt never will be a novice riding area.
@@6at32off That was a few years before I was riding. I got my first motorcycle in 2021 and then dirt bike in 2022. Agreed, Mcnutt is not beginner friendly. Funny enough, eagle and mcnutt are where I learnt to ride. Was lucky enough to know an experienced rider patient to teach me.
No nice places to crash in McNutt. Even the brown stuff is just hiding a rock. The first race I did was the 1987 McNutt race. On a 1985 CR 250 that had torque measured in negative numbers.
I think I would have been better off taking my time with the big features, probably would have finished the whole ride. Couldn’t imagine riding this place on an old bike 😅

Good thing there was a fire road for you to ride back on. It was a fun ride.
It would have been a sore ass for me if not!

Yep! Ah dang, I don’t think I have the receipt anymore. Will keep that in mind for the next set I pick up.
@@stanbarry if you bought them at international motorsports they will have it on file. That’s how I got mine.
I hate that rock it's got me a couple of times. No broken pegs, but it's nasty. And yes that did look gnarley. Hope buddies ok. Well done!!!!
I’m so surprised I lost the front end there, it’s like the rock was slimy. He was dripping blood for a little bit, but finished the A loop!
Please tell me those are aftermarket pegs and not the stock ones??? And did you puncture a coolant hose? If so, which one?

@stanbarry I'm pretty sure that's the same hose Tokyo Off Road also punctured, too. He made an upgraded hose he sells just for that reason.

That’s why i don’t ridw ROAE either, too many riders there. 😅
Ian off the top ropes to body slam invisible opponent!
He sure taught those rocks a lesson!
Dude that guy cut me off!
@@DNF_enduro I woulda done the same man
What hand guards are those???
Burly handguards by SXS.
Sooo many riders that should not be there on those trails. I won't ride the ROAE for that reason anymore.

It didn’t have as many big “features” in those days.
I could not imagine riding that with one peg.
It was a challenge, I ended up sitting a lot more.
Lol
Don’t drink and drive, I’ll never ride those trails in my lifetime.
Haha drinking would get me killed here 😂
