You leave hours at a time to "bushwhack". ..while school season starts and the submissive wife takes over..so you can explore yourself. Yep, you took a week or 8_9 days vacation with the so called family, but time was put in and family can stand by.....what a joke __who do you think you are really kidding? People who watch your vids have REAL jobs, and not narcissistic videos to make money. ...though for you it pays for your tattoos, eh?
cheap, canned pizza sauce yup, and you follow me so much that you know every step of my life, eh? Keep it up, winner!
Joe Robinet You're supposed to accompany pizza sauce with bread, not straight up roast it like you just did.
Just Another Arrogant Internet User oh snap!
Your clearly an idiot! Troll elsewhere
cheap, canned pizza sauce ur such a loser
Glad to hear that you enjoyed my gift. I thought it was lost on the postoffice.

Next video will be with Scout.
Joe Robinet are you guys not constantly covered in ticks/chiggers etc?? Lyme disease seems to be getting more and more common over here in the uk.
Tomorrow is my first solo Overnight Camping adventure with my daughter, next week my son will join me in the same feat. Quality time and undivided attention. Very excited about it! P.s.: mother phreaking out, yet supportive.
Hope scout knows how many fans he has lol
Scout or scoot?
Joe Robinet bring 2 steaks 1 for and the other for scout, and don't forget his bowl.
P.S. your amazing and keep doing what your doing
🐶+🚶=🌄
Scout + Joe = Camping Trip
Your vids are the best thing ever, i'm 14 and from Auburn AL, my Boy Scout troop watches your vids all the time and we constantly say Wha-Bham Son! to each other or stuff like, She's Toasty! to each other on campouts as an inside joke. Keep it up dude!
Rainbow Space Unicorn haha! Thats awesome!
That’s what’s up man you’ll be a expert outdoorsman by no time!!
I had to live for 4 months this way of life and I am glad to watch your show. Using the bush craft way will save lives. Thank you for doing things the hard way and showing us what can be done . grateful watcher,Melody
Honestly I'm not trying to discredit or put down other youtubers but Joe is the most appreciative person I've watched on youtube he truly cares for his subscribers and makes honest effort to reach out and thank all who send him gifts or just kind words. I've learned so much watching your videos Joe you're a great man and you make it easy to learn the way of bushcraft. God bless you and your beautiful family.
I have been a hunter, fisherman and pilot for over forty years. Yet I find your videos relaxing and informative. Can't thank you enough for your time and effort. Very well received by this subscriber. Thank you Joe, and keep up the great works.
You're the only youtuber i turn off AB+ for. You deserve every bit of your success and its awesome how humble and appreciative you are. Ive never seen another youtuber like you. Keep it up!
It's not a *real* Robinet solo video if there isn't an airplane droning in the background somewhere at some point. ;-)
More of this. It's good to see you get back to the simple stuff. I know that's kinda difficult, especially heading towards the deep end of Fall, but this was a throw back to your earlier stuff and a lot more relaxed and enjoyable. Only thing missing was Scout, but that'd probably make for an interesting paddle in ;-)
I discovered your site today. Binge watching your videos, LOVE 'em!! LOVE Scout!! I am 53 yrs old, camped and hiked my whole life. Was diagnosed in my mid 30's with Parkinson's disease. I wish when I was young I would have had the opportunity to earn a living like you have done, I think this is so awesome. Love that you love your family. I am learning so much. Keep the video's coming! Appreciate ya!!
Always enjoy your WORK joe,,,,,you are dedicated to your JOB!!!! Best outdoors channel on UA-cam by far. !!!!!!!
And you are so fortunate to have a true partner in life,,,,,and a sweetheart of a daughter,,,,all the best to you and family,,,keep on paddling,!!!!
Love coming home after a shitty day and seeing that Joe has a new video time to watch and enjoy!
After re-watching the footage, I will now admit, the steak I cooked was not quite medium. :-) #LOOGEHDATSTEAK
Scrambled O hahaha, sounds legit
Scrambled O I’m not saying it didn’t look delicious. I am just saying it didn’t look medium. 😂
38:25
Isn't it supposed to be loogehdatsteakBOY?
I think I smell a steak off!
So while watching this this exact conversation happened.
My mom: “Hey do your home work.”
Me: “ 1 hour please. I’m watching Joe Robinet.”
My mom:”Fine.”
I really enjoy these style videos, more laid back easy going, bit informational. I geeked a little at the knot lessons.. It was a fun watch.
Joe, I am forever in your debt. I can tell you'e a good human by the way you interact with your dog. I have gotten in the habit of watching your videos right before hitting the hay. They relax me and make me forget about the stupid shit that is going on in the world today. Stress breeds the nightmares where you can't run or say anything. Your videos help me sleep peacefully. Thanks.
No way, hahaha. I am from Poland, and when i saw this vodka, something tickled me inside. Poland everywhere, and where the poland is, you can be sure, there is vodka as well
kam zag haha, right on!
idk why but sippin some jameson while watching your video makes these moments funnier for some reason xD 16:43 4:21 27:00 theres a certain essence to the way Joe makes his videos; I cant identify it exactly but I think its a mixture of professionalism like being in front of the camera, being very informative and "dedicated" or passionate :) please joe, don't get tired of making these bushcraft videos. I personally just enjoy you having fun out there, cooking steaks, every single segment of the process I will watch! I'm sure I speak for a large number of audience. more power to you Joe! please ignore the haters and just do you! :)
even to the smallest part like seasoning your steak :) its not a waste of time, it actually enhances my viewing experience. it really engages me more into your video. I would like to go backpacking soon when I get my financial aid from college. I live in cali :) and your videos gives me peace and comfort and knowledge to invest on my yet to come first backpacking experience! ive never even gone camping before but I love the wild. the peace and silence. away from noise and something I got from shawn from my self reliance is "information overload". looking forward to more videos from you JOE!
Lenard Racaza thank you😀
The camera LOVES Joe!
all those cheesy random smiles were cracking me up!
I’ve been watching your vids for 3 years now and im still not tired of it! You inspire me to follow what i really want to do in life. Thank you and keep it up joe!
Aside from all the other bushcraft people, Joe's videos are like special in some type of way, keep up the videos man im inspired.
I could sit and listen to you chat all night by the campfire.
Just a shame I'm 3200 miles away.
Keep up the good work Joe.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate how amazing the sound of the vodka bottle opening was?
This is awesome I’m only 10 I love the out doors and you help a lot thank you so much
OMG Gorp!!!!!! That is so cool that you have an actual company manufactured bag of "Gorp"! I've been making Gorp for 20 years.
In my mid 20's some friends and I built a small cabin in the several thousand acre woods behind our houses, quiet and room for 4 cots inside. I spent an entire summer living out there, it was fantastic. (early 80's). Now I am 62 and long for those days, keep doing what you love.
Hey Joe, watched your solo's before my channel and they have always been good watches and inspirational. ✌ More followers than haters here
BC Bushcraft hey Bc Bushcraft... I watch Joe and you almost exclusively!!!
😁
I click the like button before watching this video because I know this video is awesome too. The reason is all the videos you made before are awesome I love each and every one 😎

Hi Joe, I am a freshman in high school and your videos have inspired me so much. As a matter of fact a couple days ago I went out and did a bushcraft style camping. I stayed for a day and a half and it was by far one of my best camping experiences.(I doubt that your gonna see this but if you do hi)
"time to do my dishes" video was the first video i watched on your channel XD. this is the second, amazing channel man! keep up the good work! i guess im a true fan!
Very relaxing and rejuvenating
I was thinking it before you said it

Magnus Persson much appreciated as always, buddy!
Me too! Good luck from the UK!
Joe, your videos are awesome. Keep up the good work. My next favorite is Shawn and then probably Doug. Have a great time.
I know it’s kind of an older video, but I just wanted to say how much I love your videos. My odd work schedule really limits the time I have to get out, and your videos really remind me why I love getting out there so much. Thanks man! The Curb your Enthusiasm quotes just make it better.
My name is Gavin young, I am a 16 year old newfound bushcraft enthusiast from the United States. After months and months of research and searching I narrowed the perfect pack down to the one and only helags 40L pack. However to my misfortune, I have just found out this line was discontinued. After weeks of watching videos, reading reviews and even going through Facebook pages, and forums of people that want this pack, I finnaly decided to reach out too you. This pack is truly one of a kind and in my opinion is the best pack of them all. Your videos were what inspired me to begin bushcraft In the first place. I have been borrowing my dads old army packs but I would love to have one for my own so I can go out and do all the things I see you don please help me joe!! Thank you again for your time. Fellow bush crafterGavin young
27:02 You talking polish was the best part😂
I’m a 19 y/o girl and I’ve been camping like twice and hated it. Too much bugs too little internet. But I love your vids! I can’t even tell my friends because they’d be like “what???”. My guilty pleasure I suppose (:
Kelisha Donnu hahaha, right on 😉
Kelisha Donnu life is all about mindset. You would enjoy camping if you didn't have preconceived notions about it. I'm a young girl too. Bugs can be a problem, but everything else about it is wonderful. Get away from the internet once in awhile, and live life the way we were supposed to. You will thoroughly enjoy it if you put your mind to it. Open your mind don't close it. There is so much more to life than the internet. Your comment only shows that you have a negative outlook on camping/outdoors. Put the effort in to not be negative and grow up a little. You will thank me later
Leave the internet alone you fucking twerp😡🖕🏽
Too ‘many’ bugs
"Too much bugs and too little internet" exactly the problem with the younger generations, too much pussyfied cucks and too little self reliant adults.
I think "Solitude" is my favorite word.
Bushcraft Baxter Agreed.
Favorite place to be BE BE BE BE happy Trails
That works.
Bushcraft Baxter Nope mines is fuchsia
Love the video brother. I live vicariously through you so don't let the haters get to you. I'm no longer physically able to do these things but I absolutely love watching you do what you do. God bless..
Joe this is a perfect video showing what camping is truly like! You come in with a plan but you can’t plan for nature so you have to adapt. People wonder how I can find bush camping fun but hate car camping. This is it in a nutshell. Great video!
Sweet this is awesome keep it up
I wipe my knife in my pants to, but there are no bears in Denmark... And sweet videos! been watching one or two every night for a week now, and will be enjoying the many to come.
Curb Your Enthusiasm out there. Pretty pretty nice shelter
I can no longer hike and backpack because of age and health. I greatly enjoy the videos. I fell like I'm there with Joe. Please keep them coming. Thank you

I really love the way you enjoy nature and use the resources to build yourself a camp.
You give a lot of inspiration to all those who want to do this, but are a little bit afraid of doing it.
I respect you and maaa boi scout for all the great work you do for entertaining us and for teaching us all the details.
Keep the good work up!
Skål from Sweden
Joe, I'm not sure if your butcher shops carry it, but for bringing meat that does not need refrigeration (or Geiger counters) beef biltung is a great option. It's an air dried brisket, and you cut off what you need. More tender than jerkey, it rehydrated very well if you make a soup or stew, and strips can be cooked like bacon, or just cut off a bite as a snack. I believe it is originally a traditional way to cure and preserve meat in Africa. Something to keep an eye out for, or ask the butcher next time you are at a meat emporium.
Sean Lewis good call!
Biltong, and it's South African. We usually make our own but it's time consuming and it can also be done with sausage, called "droewors".
Meat emporium? Where I'm from it's just a butchers m8
RK7 , here too, but there are some pretty basic butcher shops that are not going to have this sort of thing, and then there are amazing butcher shops that have stuff you may never have even heard of; hence "Meat Emporium". It's just a bit of fun. Like some liquor stores (L.C.B.O. = Liquor Control Board of Ontario, though I prefer Legendary Canadian Booze Outfitters) in Ontario Canada can be pretty sparse, where as others are exceptional.
Guys, if you live in a hot dry environment, you can make it yourself. We used silverside steak, you spice it for a couple days in basic spices and vinegar, this draws the water out the meat, then you slice it and hang it somewhere clean with a fan blowing on it until it dry, we usually prefer it to still be a little soft and "raw" in the center. If you live in a humid environment, you can buy or make your own drying boxes.
That vodka was oak barrel aged like a whiskey.
You should try zubrowka vodka with apple jujce sooo good
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%BBubr%C3%B3wka
+Ben Turner Not really. Wodka is made with potatoes (at least the good one).

@@caringancoystopitum4224 The polish stuff is made with rye
love the vids joe
Outdoors for life 8
Thanks Joe for sharing all of your experience freely. I am 70 years young and am inspired. Doubt I will ever go out in the big woods alone but my little cabin is in a wooded area on a small lake shore. I am going to build a lean to near my house, make a fire pit, and practice "bush craft" just to learn new skills. I have always been an "outdoor girl" so this should be fun. Have bug out bags packed but camping includes a bit more stuff. A big tent for all 5 dogs... LOL Thanks for who you are and what you do.
Enjoying your lake camp-out, remembering places I visited this summer. Never did a steak, but yours made my mouth water! Thanks Joe.
I cannot wait for new hot tent camping videos
The fans want Scout!
The Schmiz next video
You're the best, keep it up!
TheSchmiz scooter is getting old dano ground on his old bones isnt good all the time let em enjoy his old years

TheSchmiz for sure he loves it but tuats likley why hes not in every video getting older plus its alot harder toting a doggo along even one as good as ol mgoots
Two nights in the snow.
"Time to do the dish. Better than paper plate."
I'm not stopped
Thanks
Great video Joe! I really do appreciate you helping me with different bushcraft and camping techniques.
So far I've done two solo kayak camping trips and plan on many more. You and Shug are my favorite campers, very inspirational. Keep up the great fun!
Heyyy there bud... no no, it’s okay I’m Canadian
Yay it got liked
Hey Joe, I've got a question. I was wondering what your recommended temperature range for wool blanket is. Like 40°f+, or even lower?
Love you videos, keep on getting out there! 🤘
4:22 wtf joe?!?!😂
Mixing it up (new and old styles/tech) is the only way to learn without having a miserable time. Good stuff.
Not going to lie, I haven't watched one of your videos in a couple of months, and I really impressed with the improvement in video quality!!! The b-roll, the background music, very nice!!! Well done, man!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Do you plan on taking a trip up to Shawn's cabin when it's finished ?
White Oak Outdoors yep.
Dude my name is Allen and I love your videos
That was a big swig of the Wodka
Iam dig n the slow camp life style of this vid joe
Byerboys Outdoors great to hear!
I wish I could go for an adventure with Joe. Your videos are awesome and have taught me loads. I grew up without a father too and all of these videos just remind me of my Grandpa and the things he taught me. Come to Colorado sometime so we can go hit up some national parks!
I think a camp, catch and cook off would be a really cool video! Keep up the great videos Joe!
27:01 Starts speaking in the Sims language
I was here from 5k subscribers!
Nice
A great way to keep warm is to snuggle up next to Moose
Moose Knuckle Outdoors hey that's my wife you're talking about
Too ticky
ONE LITTLE BOY LOST IN THE WILDERNESS WAS SAVED BY A MOOSE SNUGGLING NEXT TO HIM! I SAW IT ON YOU TUBE! HE WOULD HAVE FROZEN TO DEATH.
Great video! Thank you for the entertainment and education! Gotta say... A big chunk of sharp chedder and an avocado with that steak would be camping culinary heaven!!
Never really understood people who put dislikes or hate comments in good videos, after pizza sauce type crap... it's easy to spot the failures who hate their own life and need to put good people down.
Been following you after I came across Doug's videos and between both of you and everybody else you guys linked to your videos... Keep at it, you guys are great, great educators, inspirators, lifesavers (for some) and all in all you are great entertainers! Thanks!!!
Great video
Your next video should be 10$ dollar tree challenge you have to survive 1 day in the wood with and all you can bring is an axe and sleeping bag and every thi ng else has to be from the dollar tree or store including food
Tarp
Firestarter
Water
Rope to put up tarp
And any other necessary thing you think could be useful
Paper crafts and Stuff why
noob life why not
JoshL Joe probably won't do it
Jstu studios did this aswell
Flips4daze I luv mor jstu have you seen my top comment on one of their vids but I got that idea from some where else
Joe, I don’t think you know the difference between a sip and a gulp. I’m not judging.
TheAughoti lol
Joe Robinet. Joe dont fart anymore it spoils the enviroment!😄😅
Wow Joe, you have some interesting eats and drinks in this video. Glad you enjoyed this adventure.
Love your adventures Joe. Many parents support their families with a job that requires traveling and time away from home. Hopefully, they enjoy their adventures in the world of commerce as much as you enjoy yours in the world of bark, bugs & un-hungrey fish, and, the wonderful "great outdoors!" Plus, your videos are instructive. (Pay attention Emmy. Good luck with that Dad!) Keep up the good work my friend.
The "Pretty" was from Curb your Enthusiasm. Larry David does that line all the time.
kosai19 nice
That gray hair is showing more and more Joe . But another great video
done done i know....i know, better than losing it though
Why the grey hair,,hell, he spends all his time away from anything that is truly troubling
I think it looks great on him quite frankly
Hey bud! Thanks for posting videos! I enjoy watching them. You ever consider getting a Bradford Guardian 3, or any of their guardian series knives?
Ok
MusicalWeasel no, this is the first im hearing of them
Joe Robinet Id say go check them out. I think they come in a 3” 4” 5” and 6”. The 3D contoured micarta scales make these the best feeling knives I’ve handled. Bradford knives guardian 3-6.
Musical, I agree Bradfords are live knives, bu I'm more of a more on either extreme end of the spectrum meaning I prefer a nice Helle or ESEE knife, but thats what is great about knives, there is a maker to suit every taste and application..
Enjoy ur videos, seems ur always showing something worth remembering.Tks
Always love your videos Joe. Appreciate all the hard work you put into each one, including the hard work we never see.
Like 5th? Thanks for upload! Enjoy them all!

Sage Vibe Read the comment first and couldnt wait to get to 27min! Hilarious!!
Lmfao so true
Just came back after not watching for a number of months. Good to see you looking MUCH healthier and a bit more fleshed out! TFS, (:
Hey Joe! I love your videos, I love the outdoors, I can't wait for your next video! I have been listening to your videos for going on six months now! I am blind, but I go hiking camping and all sorts of outdoor activities still. I can't wait for the next scout video. I wish I could do what you do! I am planning a hiking/camping/canoeing trip with one of my buddies here soon. You are a huge inspiration for me! One of these days I would like to meet you and go on a trip with you! That would be amazing and exciting and fun. I can't wait for your next video! Until next time, cheers!
Curb your enthusiasm!
Larry david
Yup!
The Migos reference 😂😂
Speaking of 'fur pit'- what happened to the chick who hit you with the bat?????
Great video as usual, Joe, please keep 'em coming, I've been subscribed for a few months and really loving it, btw, I'll be 62 this Saturday and learning alots from you, thanks!
Hey Joe, Just wanted to thank you for the inspiration, I've been following for a little while but never commented. I have what some would call a social media phobia. At 47 years old and a few deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, I find your video's very therapeutic and they have given me a drive to get back into the great outdoors. Thank you again!
