I not sure how people assemble aftermarket parts without a mill and lathe! You'll will always regret not pre-assembling every component. In my experience, nothing ever is a bolt on. Love all your content. What happens when the little red light comes on? LOL
Love the details and the honesty. Great video. Look forward to seeing more on this one. Hoping the love for the Mustang and GTO returns soon as I love those 2 cars as well. Be safe and stay well.
like the videos of the 9 inch build but you should have installed and torqued ALL the nuts on the pumpkin. I only saw 3 nuts ! Also, I would have installed shaft collars on both sides of steel shaft.
I'm assuming your comments relate to Episode 3, where I narrow the housing? I had 4 nuts on the pumpkin, evenly spaced, but yeah I maybe should have done all of them - good point. Not sure what you're referring to about the collars. I had all 4 in place during all the welding.
@@The_Performance_Laboratory i thought the rear suspension it can't be modified on stock eliminator, or that car has the 4 link from factory like Malibus and Chevelles ?
@@isaaccarrillo2277 The Epic isn't legal (or even classified) for Stock. It's a Drag Week build. But the Epic did come originally with the triangulated 4 link rear suspension.
Mate, loving the direction you are going with this project, especially your effort to keep the stock aspects, such as the rostyle wheels. I was going to suggest using MGB 14" rims, but you're already on to that! I have used these on my GT, just on adapters and widened. I think I went 7.5" on the back and 6" on the front to keep the steering light. You can see them briefly on my car on my Firenza HPF build channel. Keep up the good work, look forward to next installment.

@@The_Performance_Laboratory Vauxhall Viva? Not in my vocabulary. Guess if you're competing in an NHRA stock class, you won't have much competition. Haven't seen a lot of videos lately of your Goat. Sorry to hear it's not cooperating. Best of luck with your new love.
What a terrific project Ed!
Great project car.
I'll radius them wheel wells up if ya need haha
I know you would!
Lookin good Ed! Can't believe a 26 tall tire fit in there. I thought my 24.5s were pushing it lol
They're actually too tight. I'll have to open up the wheel openings.

Man o man ! You just seem to have no luck at all with aftermarket parts fitment. But you always figure it out Ed . Nice work.
Looking good Ed

Professor Ed just said it. Chevy diffs are better than ford.

Are your upper control arm frt mounts in the same location?
Currently yes, but I'll be moving them up a bit to get the 4-link instant center in the right place.
Nice project. Wich axle gear ratio ure gonna use?
I won't decide until the car is substantially done, and weighed.

What the heck is an "Epic"? I miss your Goat. If you're interested, I'll trade you my 73 T/A for it.
Epic is a Canadian only brand of Vauxhall Viva. I'm dying with my GTOs, thanks.
