I used to get kid's Happy Meals when I was on the road just because it was the only 'small-sized combo meal. I didn't want a big burger and big fries with a bucket o' soda. I wanted small burger, small fries and small drink. I don't care about the toy. Why make a gimmick out of it? Just make Happy Meals available without a toy for grown-ups that don't want a ton of food.
Well the problem isn't customers ordering them because you don't ever suggest that customers go away - customers are how you have the job in the first place. The problem is lack of staff and sounds like the design of the boxes.
i own 2 houses, own car , no debt, family is taken care of, emegecy plan etc. I have 4 ninja turtle toys looking at me next to my playstation and nintendo. Ken let me have my happy meal , i think ive earned it.
Is this really what my generation has come to? Mindless hyper-consumption of a controversial fast food giant to validate their asinine nostalgia? As an adult, I prefer more healthy alternatives and dining at more local establishments.
I would think that collectors who collect toys of different kinds would just buy the toys. They don't need a special adult happy meal, they'd just buy a regural happy meal if it had toys they wanted to collect.
If McDonald's staff want people stop ordering adult happy meals, they should stop telling people to stop ordering on social media. Social media magnifies everything.
It's even worse. The buckets are too small, and don't even get me started on the "lids". Assembling these things during lunch rush is nightmarish to say the least.
I think we fail to remember that most of these toys are made in china for like $1.00 and up priced once they come to the states. This business is ridiculous just as it is with most items that come into the states. Don't waste your money on junk you're overpaying on! Its one heck of a scam.
I'm watching this on my break and giggling a bit. As a McDonald's employee myself, I can say for certain that our location SOLD OUT of the adult Happy Meals in the first 3 days. My only issue with the box (other than it giving me a headache just looking at the design) is that the box just wasn't big enough to fit everything in it without either breaking the fries in half or crushing the Big Mac/10 pc Nugget boxes.
McDonald makes Billions of dollars in profits every year, you are one guy with a show. Just because you (and I) don't want the toys, doesn't mean they won't sell REALLY well.
I disagree with the five guys fries take. I don’t even consider five guys a fast food place anyways. Is a traditional quick service burger joint while fast food involves less expensive, lower quality mass produced food and a drive through. Even if five guys is fast food, McDonald’s fries are better
I was a sophomore in high school when McDonalds came to town. No nostalgia here. I think they use waaay to much paper and/or wrapping. I hardly ever go in that place. The experience is not for me.
Some of the toys are cool especially if they partner with a brand you enjoy like batman or i think they had beanie babies years ago. But yeah overall a little weird lol. But adults these days are just big kids
I was already an adult when they came out with happy meals for children I think it’s kind of childish for an adult to have a happy meal in the first place McDonald’s has gotten so expensive it’s unbelievable paying room quality restaurant prices for fast food is BS hydraulic go somewhere sundown and eat a nice meal and pay the extra money rather than eating 5000 mg of salt in my food and come home feeling like crap far as I’m concerned McDonald’s sucks they used to be good but now they suck and I’m not paying high prices for food that sucks thanks for the video I appreciate it👎😖😖😁 I put the smile on there because I thought your video was cool😎😎😎
i like chik fil a, they have good food, but their um...politics? have resulted in millions of dollars of lost revenue, its bad business to exclude millions of customers with polarizing political contributions, i mean at the end of the day its a chicken restaurant right? stick to that
Tyler - I’m assuming you would suggest all companies stay out of politics and trying to create “social transformation” then? Just stick to their core function of their product and/or service?

What they should have done is replicate the exact toys we had in the 80s with the exact box.
Yep! That would be a Happy Meal!
You trying to tell me adults in the 90s weren't buying happy meals cuz of those stupid beanie babies?

Ken, there is a whole bunch of people who believes that the McDonald's toys have a value especially if they are left in the package
At least McDonald’s did not include adult toys in their adult happy meals. Just saying.
🤣🤣
LOL!
They should if they were smart. 😂
5 Guys.... $20 for a cheeseburger fries and coke
They sold out in NY since it’s a collab w/ that streetwear company.
People have also flipped these toys, in packaging, on eBay for $$$$.
If you think it’s absurd just look at how much some of these toys are selling for on eBay!
Some are selling for $100+!
I like the short version of the shows.

That woudl not maximize sales.
The adult Happy Meal should forgo the toys and put the little bottles of liquor in the box.
Im helping them with the chaos and misery by never eating there.
If McDonald's staff want people stop ordering adult happy meals, they should stop telling people to stop ordering on social media. Social media magnifies everything.
Oh the whole Halloween bucket Happy Meal is on a whole other level!
It's even worse. The buckets are too small, and don't even get me started on the "lids". Assembling these things during lunch rush is nightmarish to say the least.

And the toy is creepy!

McDonald is going to make great money in these, smart move in their part
We don’t have a chic-fil-a in Australia 😢
They all have 2 sets of eyes, creepy.
Factory defect. I feel like I have double vision.
Young or older adults nostalgic for their childhood. McDonald's is our last desperate choice for eating out.
Some of the toys are cool especially if they partner with a brand you enjoy like batman or i think they had beanie babies years ago. But yeah overall a little weird lol. But adults these days are just big kids
well I mean Modern American CultureTM consists of childhood nostalgia exploitation but FOR US GROWN UPS so...
I’d order one just so I can get the hamburgler toy. Btw, whatever happened to the clown and why is it not one of the toys??
What I am hearing is that those employees need to find a new job and improve themselves or they’ll always be that way complaining about life.
You know you could just tell us you aren’t fun without putting people down.

In my area they sold out
They might look like adults, but ahhhh
Chic fila is better hands down if ya gotta eat some junk on occasion.
This is why I tell people not to get the adult happy meal. Those poor workers
We've hit a new low as a species...........Happy Meals for Adults................
Never had a happy meal and never will. Haven't eaten mcDs crappy food in over 30 years.
Stressed out? Ha.
Lol - b/c obesity epidemic be damned, I guess…😅
tHis toy hAs no VaLue!
This is what you get your 30 year old who's still living at home.
ADULT MEALS WONT MAKE NE HAPPY.....HOW ABOUT A STIMULUS CHECK? ($$$$)....JUST SAYING...
That’s what got us into this mess in the first place
i like chik fil a, they have good food, but their um...politics? have resulted in millions of dollars of lost revenue, its bad business to exclude millions of customers with polarizing political contributions, i mean at the end of the day its a chicken restaurant right? stick to that
Or gained millions of dollars in sales. I agree, businesses should stick to their business. Not political issues or political correctness.
@@mph5896 if they gain sales for doing that, then shame on everyone

@@adambrown9048 im not gonna debate it, its just a matter of good business, dont discriminate against anyone, period
Oof here we go again with Boomer Ken!
