I'm actually confused about the distinction between the soft voice and polite voice. I'm always worried about coming across as rude and hurting people, so naturally I try to be as polite as possible. As a result my voice is often low, and i think most of the time it somewhat resembles the voice people use to explain things to children. How do I know if my way of speaking is the right way or not?
I know what you mean ukhti. Try to speak a little bit more harsh. Many of us speak harsh at home and soften our voice outside. Try to switch.
Speak straightforwardly, softly and politely. It's not contradicting each other. Nothing to confuse about.
@@zakirnaikahmaddeedat3651 polite yes, but softly is forbidden, like it says in the Quran, because it causes Fitna. You can’t just make a fatwa yourself
@@someone-uw8fg "Ibn Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him, said in his Tafseer: "This means that they should not speak softly. Allaah commanded them to speak in a concise and decisive manner (i.e., they should be serious and brief in their speech, and not be vague or talk aimlessly). There should be no possible indication on the face that could be taken to indicate any softness in the heart, as the Arab women (before Islaam) used to do when speaking to men, by making their voices soft like women who are taking care of small children, or like prostitutes. Allaah forbade women to do that.
The phrase "lest he in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire" means lest such a person should hope for immoral deeds, indecency or romance. "Speaking in an honourable manner" means speaking in a way that does not go against Sharee’ah or offend people. Women are encouraged when speaking to men to whom they are not related and to mahrams among their in-laws to be somewhat rough or abrupt in their speech, without raising the voice, because they are commanded to lower their voice.
Speaking with a woman to whom one is not related (i.e., not mahram) should only be for a specific need, such as asking a question, buying or selling, asking about the head of the household, and so on. Such conversations should be brief, with nothing doubtful in either what is said or how it is said.
The idea of limiting speech with women to the five instances mentioned in the question needs to be approached with caution, because they could be taken as examples instead of limits. One must also adhere to the conditions set out by the Sharee’ah even in instances where such conversations are necessary, such as in da’wah, giving fatwas, buying or selling, etc. And Allaah knows best."

I stand corrected, barakAllaahu fiikum, JazakAllaahu khoir akhii. I never intended to make any fatwa nor have the authority to do so, i shall be more careful insya Allah. 🙏

So is it okay if I become nasheed singer?
I think the soft tone a melodious voice is a bit too strict. A lot of women just naturally have soft and melodious voices. I think what he meant was (or at least what he should have said) as long as she isn't trying to seduce someone when speaking to them, speaking is allowed
Thats the meaning,the softening of women’s voice by INTENTION not natural.listen carefully
Just keep professional. No need to bark and be angry, but just keep professional. I think most people know what that means. Like you're a lawyer or a surgeon. Keep the attention on your character and intelligence, and everything will be fine in shaa'Allah.

What if it is a nasheed or dua by woman, also meladious
That's a great question, and I wish someone had an answer. What if a woman sings in a clean, strong (but not piercing) style (not a soft voice or about anything haram)? Sings about subjects that can encourage people if she has no husband and also needs to make money in a mentally healthy, respectable way? Also has a message of encouragement and strength that she wants to bring to the people? (They need to be reminded of the Quran and start praying fagr again, because it is the most important prayer, but sometimes you can find a "mosque" that consistently fails to do the athan for the fagr.) I'm not perfect, but I think my purpose in life is to encourage others in a good, clean way. I feel like God gave me a voice instead of a (sane) husband, and I'm not mad about it anymore.
Please gv me authentic answer If I make Audio recording For Reciting Quran paak only audio am talking with Qirrat ?if anybody has complete knowledge please.clear this
Sheikh if we do voice over on youtibe cooking videos in a normal voice which are mostly watched by women for cooking .... what about after we die? Will we get sin for that? Or shall we ask our guardians to remove those videos after we die?
He said that a woman's voice is not awrah so you won't get punished for speaking
Ak.
Salam aleikom, what about reciting Quran in front of men? Jazak Allah Khair
Thank you for this talk and i have a question. Is laughing also considered as a part of voice awrah?? Like if i am with my friends and i am genuinely laughing is it also haram?? Because i hear a lot of ppl say a woman is not allowed to laugh loudly in front of non mahrams but men laugh as loud as they want and no one tells them to lower their voices and you can’t really control ur laughter. It is also really annoying when ur laughing and someone shuts u up.
When a man laughs, it does not attract the women. However, when a woman laughs, it creates attraction in the men towards that woman. This is because men are created in this way that all they see in other non-mahram women are nothing but beauty and attractiveness! A woman can never really know how men feels towards women and a father can never really know how mothers feel towards their children.
Specially beware that if you laugh hearing a man's talking, that man will most certainly think that you have gentle mindset towards him. And he may not be able to stop thinking about how much gentleness you have towards him, even if he tries to. Your smile/laughter reveals your inner beauty, which is devastating for non-mahram men! I will suggest you to study men's psychology towards women.
And Allah SWT knows best.
@@foronlineinternetuse3335 people amaze me all the time walahi
@Silent Spectator
We should be covering up that body part
@Aditya Kumar don’t expose sins
I think these people are just being sexist. Women are allowed to laugh. The prophet did say not to laugh to much but this is for men and women (we are allowed to laugh but not too much yk). I also don't agree with the justification someone else in the replies has for this. Women find men's laughs attractive too if they have a deep voice. So it wouldn't make sense to only tell women to stop laughing.
