Does anyone else have sad feelings when seeing these old beauties or is it just me?

Absolutely. I think it's an unforgivable waste of life.

I'm a great lover of British trucks especially Bedford of which there are a great many here going right back to ww2. The interesting thing is once you disregard the surface rust a great many of these vheacles have really solid bodies. It must be the dry climate.
I know with my tk trucks it was always the body work that took the time sorting, salt and mud and in my case on the farm it was muck rotted them if you let it. All of the vheacles shown would be a great source of bits and many deserve restoration.
    Interesting vidio.

Leyland, Bedford, AEC, Albion, Commer, Seddon, Thames Trader ........ a bygone time when the UK made trucks and the world bought them.

Blimey, there's a Dodge Barreros there! Haven't seen one of those in decades, they weren't popular in the UK as I recall.

Hi, some i just spotted on my travels, the majority are from a breakers yard in Eastern Cyprus, the yard owner kindly let me go round to photograph them, quite a place.
