Honestly that is actually a great idea. While i wouldn't wire it to be used while driving, having it only exist as an alarm probably will deter thieves. Problem is will my neighbors complain? maybe but it would go off only during theft attempts, not any other time.
@@lewie5913both. People are always stealing but the easy access with all the electric access makes it way to easy for thieves to steal. And they will 100% do it
Yep, we need to go back to the days where steering columns didn't have locks and all it took was a jumper wire from the ignition coil to the battery and jumpering the starter solenoid to drive away.

Relocation of horn doesn't prevent theft... instead install a hidden cutoff switch between the fuel pump circuit if fuel pump doesn't come on the engine will crank but will not start...no fuel no run...
All the auto makers got waaay too big for their britches and started selling easy to steal cars. Really cool features though!! I bet they’d be cool to use if people weren’t constantly trying to steal them

Wiring a train horn to my alarm was the BEST thing ive done!
Yes

Hadn't gotten to that part yet, and just as I read your comment it happened. Good way to ruin a "news" piece.
Too much electronics in cars nowadays

Please don't assume all gun owners are intelligent. Scratch that please don't assume all Americans are intelligent.

I doubt they would even have to disable the horn, considering that car alarms go off by themselves so often that passers-by almost always ignore them.
Yeah… Except when alarms are going off in the middle of the night. That usually gets some attention on a residential street.

Ok. Probably the best news piece I’ve ever seen, mainly to the creativity of the camera and music lol. Like a rock!
The more difficult you make it for them the better for you. They don't want to give attention to themselves out in the opened
What a hustle, I want to do that for 200 bucks for 15 minutes, and I thank you.

Yup horn relocation kits are available look them up. Also I have a secondary air horn. Scares me even when I lock it if I leave it on.
Very simple fix, have a real train horn installed under rear bumper and wire it to the original horns wiring! Tada... sure to send them running!!!

It's always going to be dodge ram. Or just simply dodge rams all together.
