- Lynette maybe not be to the level of Bennet or Xingqui, but she brings a lot to the table, and can definitely be thrown into almost any team to give energy, debuffs, and attack boosts! I may not fully build her at this stage of Genshin, but I see the potential for sure!

I was honestly just gonna pull for Yelan, but I'm REALLY liking how Lynette plays. I'm so glad we got her for free as well as featured on the banner.
I was planning to get Yelan for her E speed run, but it’s almost like Lynette’s E. so i’m not pulling for Yelan anymore. hehe. I’m happy with Lynette.
Haven't done much on the new patch, how to get lynette free?

Compared to Sucrose, she's got a cheaper burst with more particle generation, VV shred + innate Noblesse set bonus buff on her burst(which I presume will stack with the actual Noblesse buff), faster swirl application from burst, more swirled-element application from burst(especially with C2), burst taunts enemies(which is honestly more effective than sucrose's burst when dealing with "heavy" enemies), and she has the Ousia-effect(nice to have for Fontaine, but it's hard to say how important it will be in the long run), and she has self-heal + life drain mechanics which will likely make her a good support for a future character who takes advantage of HP loss mechanics
She does have less CC than Sucrose, and Sucrose can give a good amount of EM, but she's also got less on-field time than Sucrose(unless you use her as a driver at C6 akin to what Sucrose's main kit is, a driver for reactions) but otherwise she's not an upgrade nor a downgrade compared to Sucrose, she's a side-grade
If you want stuff like CC, tons of EM, ED bonus, and a swirl driver, go with Sucrose
If you want anemo-particle-batterying, Ousia-effect, ATK%, taunting, manuverability, and HP-loss + self-heal, go with Lynette
Not to mention the different weapon types allowing there to be more potential for differentiation; I'm honestly very happy about her, cuz she's certainly a lot better at C0 than a lot of recent 4-stars have been; I actually see some situations where I'd want to use her over Sucrose which says a lot over characters like Diona vs. Layla or Kuki vs. Dori
I’m thinking of pulling for Wriothesely to put on a freeze team, and I think I’m putting Lynette on that because EM doesn’t really help with freeze
3:13 i have spent at least 2 hours playing with her and i have not realized that it only hits one target. Yelan has made me spoiled as to what a skill like this should do

her suction on C1 isn't exactly the greatest, it's like bringing enemies two steps closer at best
Reverse that. You have an enemy to pull in and target. Nothing is a con if you approach things creatively, kid.
Well, chances are that they won't give suction that good to 4 * anemo units . Sucrose suction is pretty good but its on burst and kind of clunky .
ZaJeff explained it briefly on one of his videos, and what I got from that was she has the suction, but she doesn't stagger units.

i was surprised that they released a 4 star that is actually functional and not garbage at c0 like most recent 4 star unites, her cons make her better obviously but she doesn't rely on them to be usefull , she's no kazuha but she's decent and versatile and fun to play tbh

My Lynnette did like 10k skill with now buffs and at lvl 40 bro she have a good scalings and swirls she will be very good for new and f2p players with enough cons

Kirara isn't really cat girl.... She's a nekomata which is a Youkai. She's just using tricks to appear as a human. And she doesn't even have cat ears which kinda count her out of the cat girl group for me.
@@kra6958 and that youkai is basically a house cat turns into a demon, i mean it has “neko” in the name. She can manipulate to make her ears appear as human ears, she can make her paws into human feet but she chooses not to. And that is a real cat paws so that counts as a cat girl to me

seriously, they are twins, have been fighting together so it only makes sense that they are strong when they are in a team? Even the traveler(s) have a synced up play style 🤨
I mean...even if they did make them a two in one character if Lyney was still Pyro and Lynette Anemo they'd essentially just be a Pyro unit as if they're both out on the field at the same time Lynette would Swirl all of Lyny's Pyro attacks...if anything Lyney would've likely been something akin to Oz and attacked on his own from behind the lines while Lynette was the up in your face dps if they kept it bow and sword if he wasn't made into something akin to a summon that would only appear on field when using E skill and burst (burst probably would've been a tag team attack dealing anemo and pyro while e skill would probably be Oz style pyro gattling attack but Lynette & Lyney must be on field while Lynette gets anemo infusion so she could more or less swirl all of the attacks...could probably build such a character either with 4 peice witch set or 4 piece viridiscent set for swirls to increase Pyro damage).
Weirdest thing about them as is isn't that they're a two in one character but that they can't even work well together due to their passives either wanting different elements on the team while the other wants the same element on the team....both should've had the gain __% more damage when different elements are on the team and could stack with each other's effect or both should've been the same element and boosted each other/characters of the same element.
She is really nice I am glad they gave her for free
I've got quite lucky with her so far. I was pulling for Lyney and ended up getting 3 copies of Lynette before I got him, so now I have a C3 Lynette already. Got an extra Sacrificial Sword to put on her too! Of course, I haven't got either of them past level 40 yet though. Need to go and unlock the bosses but I keep getting distracted in Fontaine lol
This character will be an absolute game changer for brand new Genshin players, no more having to swap Geo and Anemo traveler around for Liyue puzzles. She's also not locked to Inazuma so new players can reasonably level her up.
Is worth leveling her up if you are a traveler main ?
Maybe I'm not playing her right, but I'm actually a bit disappointed with Lynette. Her burst is ok on C2 and the taunt is nice, but I think it only works on one enemy(?), otherwise it feels like a cheep copy of Kazuha's burst with a far smaller AOE. The buff talent is nice, but limits your team comp to actually take advantage of. Her E seems to be quite powerful when built correctly, but the Yelan-run doesn't do it any favors in my opinion. I do like her design very much, and I think it's sad that they didn't give Lyney that cat-treatment, too. It seems like only 4* have animal features.
Meanwhile, our free 5* Hydro Traveler sucks so bad. Like seriously, HMC is prolly the worst of all elemental Travelers.

1. dendro mc (the best)
2. geo mc
3. electro mc
4. anemo mc
5. hydro mc (the worst)
don't get me wrong she's fun to play, but another character that is on weird spot her skill has a long CD so you're gonna rely on her burst, ER is your option and if you put VV set on her it's valid although you need an off field support and also if you use a Anemo dmg bonus goblet her, her normal attacks doesn't benefit on the bonus unless on C6, what I'm trying to put on her is the Noblesse which gives atk bonus on the party
appreciate your take as always. i think for a starter in fontaine, shes good. kinda like how you need collei to get thru sumeru for the start.

It's OK, she doesn't have to do more damage than Sucrose or Kazuha. Being a cat-girl automatically makes her #1 in my book. 😊
With that said, Lynette feels like she was originally designed to be an anemo Yelan. Tagging enemies then causing massive swirl damage. For whatever reason, Mihoyo decided to make her a 4 star and ditch any plans of a unique synergy with her brother.

5:45 I would absolutely still build Lynette even if you're not at a point of farming the VV set. Swirl as a reaction hard carries the early game even without that set. You're most likely going to be using Instructors set on someone anyway at the start, and Lynette can make really good use of it.
I remember having a lot of fun swirling with Anemo Traveler when I started playing lol
the only thing i don't like about liney and lynette so far is that there is no synergy between them, but actually there is anti synergy between them cuz lynette's passive is activated when u have multiple elements while lyney prefer being in mono pyro teams
I put both lyney and lynette in pyro swirl team with Lyney Lynette Kazuha and Bennett and it's still work with my Lyney getting 100k with his charge and skill
This new update bring back my mood and interest for Genshin that have already died a few months ago. What an update seriously.

I started out genshin for not to long ago, like a week. I was lucky enough on my few pulls to get her to C6. She is stronger then any other character i have on my team. Even Yelan at this point, what was my goal to get. But she shreds at her current lvl 40. Im just AR 24. So i speak noobish, but she stands out compare to most other characters that i have at this point. Its nice starter. I started off when Kokomi released, so i got her. now i have a C6 bennett and a C6 Lynett with c0 Yelan and Kokomi. So strong as a starter. Was perfect time to start the game. I played on the US server, and the old team back when the game started cant get close to this team. I can do anything right now. I had a major struggle in the start with most other teams.
I don't play this often but I logged in just to get the free copy. Great to hear she's a good character.
omg, I gave her basic unraised artifacts, got luchy to get her C6 while pulling Yelan. and she is supper great. I love her play style. On C6 I use her as a main DPS and she is great. I tried her with the Wanderer's build. And she attacks pretty fast too
@@Ayayudamy lynette does 13k skill with 45/200 crit ratio and 1.7k atk so maybe that helps

5:30 what you're forgetting is the upgrade materials which will take FOREVER to get to
He does mention it, @6:00 seconds I believe but even so why say “Easy to build” if you need to be caught up
@@thechazz8080they make it so you gain a random waypoint smack at the start of Fontaine once you do a part of Mondstadt's archon quest. Farming for her will be as much a pain as it is for anyone else

@@MMOplayeerr my first 5* was Qiqi, I was hyped, looked her up online to see what type of builds people ran . . . and suddenly was less hype. So I feel your pain.
Fontaine is a bit relaxing to explore and the swimming is pretty smooth. I like the region. But the heck the size of the updates is sad and ridiculous that I am concerned for the internet traffic I'm causing.
So she provides bigger buffs for the party for each teammate with different elements, similar to Yun Jin's burst. Interesting team possibilities, though centered around normal attacks.
New player here. I joined while she and Bennett were the 4-stars on the Yelan banner and SHE HAS BEEN A FANTASTIC addition and has made grinding up adventure ranks so much better. I absolutely love her play-style. The only annoying part about her as a new player is the fact that I have to occasionally dip over to Fontaine when I really don't want to be over there yet for story reasons to ascend things, but in terms of her support for new players early on, yeah. She's fantastic.
Lynnette's great, I'm so happy we got her for free because now I can have traveler as geo on my no pulling account so puzzles that need both anemo and geo will be so much easier not to mention that she's helpful on my limited team comps because of this
As long as shes usable, shes worth using considering she is free. Unlike the hydro traveller of course
I pulled c6 Lynette bc i love her design and personality, but shes also super useful in general. I want to use her in a neuvillete/layla/hydro character for resonance and particles where she could use her burst to swirl cryo from layla's burst and to trigger neuvi's passive.
she is cool but it is so strange that her personality for the English voice and Japanese voice is so different, like which one is canon lol

@@Marz333 I want this game to play in a month only 1 house par day but I can't . Because we have only a arcon quest some world quest or some baby type game event. I know it's a casual game right now so I can demand anything that's OK. Somethings are never make to 100% good.
guaranteed anemo support for all players without wishing, a bone for the new players and finally a non-mid 4 star after however long
For the sake of spicing things up for me im gonna try to only rock fontaine characters when doing fontaine things. Which means so far using lyney and lynette until 4.1. Just the thought excited me.
Same I’m only using traveler and Lynette but wen fighting boss I switch too my main team
I remember in the early game when I hadn't rolled Sucrose yet. It actually took me until Albedo's first banner when we got Dragon Spine to get her. And because Liyue had pressure plates that needed geo constructs to press down and I didn't have another geo character either, I kept having to switch my traveler back and forth between anemo and geo to complete puzzles. I remember one puzzle that had an anemo monument on a time lime AND a pressure plate, and I just had to ignore it for weeks. Eventually I did get Zhongli as my first 5 star, but it was still like a month of this since I started near the beginning of 1.1
Point is, I'm very glad new players have easier access to both geo constructs and anemo so that doesn't happen to them like it did me
Loved Mtashed for a while. But now it's even more difficult to take him seriously, because at any minute he could start crying about Genshin (again) and leave and come back 20 times.
MC in Genshin is pretty much trash no matter the element. It gets a pass as a Dendro just because of synergies but honestly I wouldn't really use MC over almost any other matching element character.
Huh so actually game new free animo for new player. Wish i started now. Its a shame i quit. Been genchin sobber for 2 months. I will only full the arcons and do the story in my own time

In general, you should always run Viridescent on your Anemo character unless you plan on running with only Geo, Anemo or Dendro.

Yes, in that case you would either want Viridescent on your supporting Anemo character and give Lynette the crit set or 2pc Viridescent + 2 pc Desert Pavilion Or 4 Pc Desert Pavilion.

I’m not sure how I feel about Fontaine.
It's so different that feel bad. But probably is gonna become better, like in the first part of Inazuma, i was in pain playing that chat simulator.

I just started playing Genshin and Lynette is my main atm
She took Freedom Sworn from Kazuha on my account. Yes, I managed to be lucky enough to get C6, but at C6 she's kinda broken. I like the aesthetic, but the E hits like a truck, and at C6 she can keep triggering swirl. Swirl is best against groups. With Viridescent and off field supports she becomes pretty low investment damage.
Can't wait for the next game you think will make you successful so you can quit genshin for the 100th time and then blame your poor performance on genshin fans and then make more genshin videos
I've been playing since May this year and I think I'm going to use her on my secondary team (which is more or less non-existent so far lol). Trying to focus building her around her burst to swap in whenever it's ready.
Lynette is good for wanderer coz she gets buffed by Faruzan and and taunts enemies so no shielder is needed. She does 10% higher dmg than Wanderer with ZHONGLI
Only real issue she has, imo, would be energy cost for the burst and the CD length for her skill could definitely be about half the time for the fairly meh to decent damage it does.
I will say she's weird in the sense that she doesn't fit in parties with Lyney, her twin, due to you wanting characters with different elements for her but Lyney wants a more mono party team so they more or less made it near impossible to put them in the same team without nerfing their max damage potential.
She's not as good of an option as say Kazuha or Sucrose or Venti but I guess she's more than good enough for a world exploration team and maybe floor 9 and maybe 10 Abyss team with a good dps unit in it.
I am debating whether I should upgrade rosaria for national team or lynette can someone help
Another option: Should I upgarde kaeya for reverse melt team.
Im almost done building her, cant wait to finally use her and see how shel like!

But how do new players level her, if they have to play all the quests first to get to fontaine? If they don't intentionally rush to fontaine, they they most like get better units which they can actually level early.

i think she’s a perfect addition. doesnt need to break the game, just needs to pull her weight and add something new. im tempted to build her for sure

Only Lynette can't save Genshin Impact 4.0. After that 4.1 will lost many male player because major fontaine waifu not come to join them and make fontaine empty meaning to them for explore. Hoyoverse risk all thier hope in furina but player too old and desperate after many issues (include main character in sumeru story like Dahya weak than her popular level) make them need continuous treatment along the way before peak moment in fontaine.

As a new player its not good bc of the mats...
All traveler elements sucks imo except dendro, not because its good but because of the element being op. (Other traveler elements can be good too but are you really going to use them over other characters)
