It is my favourite. Of course, they will never play it live. I missed the 1988 Appetite tour, when I guess they did play it, but I did have the good fortune to hear Steven Adler and his band play it live once. Breakdown is my next fav and I don't even think most people even know it exists, let alone what it is about.
Was not expecting I Don't Care About You/Look at Your Game Girl to be the least played. It's one of my favourites out of "The Spaghetti Incident?" and with all the controversy behind it I thought it to be more played Bad Apples is criminally underrated too. Played less than Black Leather or Raw Power, are you kidding me?
The low rankings of Coma, Breakdown, and Right Next Door to Hell, trailing songs on Spaghetti Incident to boot, just hurt my heart. Get your listening acts together, people.
Spaghetti incident is cool, definitely some great tracks on there. I don’t care for CD, but it almost deserves to be in a complete different category since axl is the only original member and it just sounds like a different band.
Their whole set list is basically just Izzy and slash wanting to do more straight forward punky hard rock stuff Meanwhile on the other side you have Axl wanting to do more alternative indie stuff with power ballads.
Fun fact about G n’R Lies: None of the “Live” songs are actually live. Those songs were actually pulled from the “Live @! Like A Suicide” EP, from before they got big with Appetite for Destruction. They had pulled the crowd sounds from some concert with thousands of people as a joke, because at the time they’d be lucky to play for more than a hundred.
What I find interesting is where the Chinese songs are. They are holding their own against some of the classics, did not think This I love was as popular. I think if GNR played some of the lesser played songs in their live set, you would see those numbers rise. Notice how the majority of their standard set is the most played material. I guarantee, the plays for those 3 Chinese songs was probably 10million less before the NITL
Probably more since a newer crowd hopped on the wagon and started playing their more popular material more and more since 2016 or even 2014 when Duff rejoined.
@@jacoboflores9257 I mean the top 3 songs were so obvious. Everyone and their mom knows Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, and Sweet Child considering it's spammed on radios
I'm still waiting for them to play Think About You and Breakdown live. Even Locomotive and This I Love would be awesome. Thankfully the last gig I saw of thiers live (2022) contained some stuff that they never play. That was great coz I was half expecting a repeat of the usual, popular tracks.
CD has such impressive vocals considering it came out later in the band’s career. Axl’s vocals have always been important and they’ve surprisingly not been completely shot (compared to vince neil or jbj). No, he’s not amazing nowadays, but considering him at his peak, he’s still pretty damn good.
I wouldn’t have thought The Garden, Garden of Eden were that low considering they have music videos and usually songs with videos are more popular. Those are two of my favorite songs. Also You Ain’t the First is great and underrated song.
Even the least played ones have nice numbers, thank you so much for this vid!💗 P.S: I love the fact that u used "It tastes, good don't it?" At the end 😂😂😂
I guess this is from Spotify, cuz on UA-cam November rain is their most played song, and most viewed rock music video, great video though, would love to see Nirvana next
Man Chinese democracy as a stand alone album was actually really good, it's just that it took way too damn long to release and people just want the og lineup🥲
The thing is, me personally, I can put on Appetite, Illusion 1 and 2, and Democracy and not feel the urge to skip any songs. There might be one or two that are okay, but I only class some of the shorter/faster songs on Illusion (Garden of Eden or Shotgun Blues) as mid. There long boys like Locomotive, Coma, Breakdown are intricate pieces of work that don't feel forced and padded out. And then you're followed with Back off B@tch or You Could Be Mine. And not even to be an edgelord, Democracy really isn't that bad, it is an enjoyable album. Not the second coming of Christ but taking away the time it took to make, it's got some good tracks. Then again I got a little more into industrial music and stuff like samples as I've grown older, thanks to some back logging of Nine Inch Nails so, for me, GnR are one of those bands where I find a wealth of solid tracks. Lol Madworld is a bit mad XD But C'mon, it's like a minute long and is over before you know it, I look at it as a "Oh Axel moment". I don't put it on just to listen to it but after going from Civil War to Don't Cry 2, it's a reflective musical journey with a hilarious MCU post credits scene. What can I say, there's a lot of people that love GnR here, probably even more than me. We like what we like, I put my hands up and say I'm not the biggest Nirvana lover, but they still have great songs, maybe not for me but I will not sit here and deny the group's success and musicianship, especially with their legacy :)
@@shotq8070 Yeah, I'm Chinese fan and I'm proud of it! :D Honestly, this Spotify numbers says that too many people who have opinion on Democracy haven't listened to whole album even once. Same with Spaghetti tbh.
