As much I love THP, there's something off with it It's good, but there is just one thing that sets it apart with the other albums, it's different, to me, its the least closest to what Linkin Park is, even when it's usually rock and metal, which is what THP is about, probably cuz it was released in a later date rather than their full on rock era
IT's correct, Meteora and HT have more streams because they are more popular albums, but all of them have atleast 10 Million + streams and equal amount of youtube streams.
Absolutely! In fact, THP is my third favorite studio album by LP. I freaking love it front to back, and Mark The Graves is probably one of their most underrated songs ever, imo.
@@maxleavitt8199that’s my favorite album, especially Battle Symphony, One More Light, Talking to Myself, Invisible, Halfway Right, Heavy and Good Good Bye

Why are Robot Boy and Little Things Give You Away so low? They're such powerful yet underrated songs. Imo the last part of Little Things Give You Away is one the best things I've ever heard from Linkin Park.
@@Planet_Caravan_94 It felt not LP and felt more like a Christian Revival album. I did not enjoy even a single song in ATS In OML, the titular song and Talking to Myself I do enjoy
It’s absolutely insane what kind of numbers these guys pull, the first song at 100 million was #31. Not just that but lots of these songs have insane plays on UA-cam as well, it’s just mental to think how popular they are
A lot of people criticized how they went full pop in One more light but this proves that people really didn't care about the stuff before (ATS, LT, HP) and that's a real shame
Facts, I’m glad they ignored these fake fans and did what they wanted. OML was a successful album and it deserves it. THP was the heaviest but the least successful and that’s says a lot
It all also depends on how is was marketed. OML is beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but it’s also more radio friendly than ATS, LT and especially THP. And I’m not talking about heaviness or vulgarity, but (in terms of ATS and LT) they were more experimental. So even though those two albums did get mainstream radio time, they were probably a little too “out there” for casual listeners. Meanwhile, The Hunting Party was a heavy rock album. I never heard anything from that album on the main radio stations. Granted I don’t listen to radio a lot but often enough when I’m driving or at work. So since THP wasn’t easily accessible to mainstream audiences, it didn’t do as well as it could have. However, it is a rock album in 2024. The reason Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight did so well is because music like that was more or less in the mainstream back then. Same with what OML is now. Mainstream. THP just wasn’t marked very well at all to begin with. Unless you were a die hard Linkin Park fan, it would have flown under your radar. I’ve seen comments where LP fans were like “what the hell is The Hunting Party? When did that happen?”
But I liked every other album in terms of bangers per album, which OML had the least amount, at least for me, but only because they dont fit the vibe of what I normally listen to, which happens to be literally any other album
At #71 2:27, "Little Things Give You Away" off of Minutes to Midnight has to be the most underrated song per this list. In fact, all of Minutes to Midnight is incredibly underrated.
I agree with what you’re saying but I’d argue that no roads left at 97 is the most underrated, (unpopular opinion alert) to me it is a legit top 10 song linkin park has made
Figure .09 heavily underrated aswell, got placed higher tho, but also blackout, which was placed lower. its one the best songs imo. but as other comments have said the hunting party is HUGELY underrated. It was the heaviest and best songs we had heard from them in a while.
This was so interesting. I didn’t think One More Light was received that well and I was shocked to see the whole album above ATS and THP songs.. Burning In The Skies, A Line In The Sand, and Keys to the Kingdom are some of my favorite LP songs
the simple fact that mike sang the entirety of no roads left, including the belting parts, already makes that song one of the best linkin park songs ever. the crescendo it has going on where it finally all opens up into a super powerful post-hardcore sound with the background strings is just icing on the cake
Realizing how much of an LP hipster I am when some of my favorite most listened to songs are in the 1st 40 shown. Also Its a crime that “little things” is #71 I could listen to that track on loop for 10 hours and still hit replay. One of the most beautiful and tranquil songs ever written
