Dude, as someone who needs a step by step, second by second example on how to travel somewhere you came in like a superhero to ease my concerns! Thank you do much for this tour/walkthrough! It helps me a lot!
Super helpful for our upcoming trip. Thank you. Capturing most of the trip in long, continuous shots really made the entire process, including ticketing, crystal clear.
Whenever I go to NYC, I take the LIRR to PennStation and stay in a hotel near it. With this new alternative, I will also be able to stay in the area around Grand Station Madison. Fabulous.
Hey Sifat, would you consider making a vlog showing nyc in-transit passengers how to get from jfk to la guardia. I've heard persons say they flew in to one airport and their connection was at the other airport and getting around was a hassle.
I’m guessing that the timing is strange. I would have expected that you would have ridden the Shuttle from Times Square to Grand Central. Then, access the LIRR via Grand Central Madison under One Vanderbilt. Moving forward, it would be the LIRR to Jamaica with a transfer to the AirTrain onwards to JFK. I understand that this is a walking channel. But, if I’m schlepping luggage, I wouldn’t be rolling it down 42nd Street.
Thank you so much for the detailed video, is going to be my first time in NYC and this is so helpful in my way to the airport. I have a doubt, I'll be at off peak hours like you, but I want to know what is the difference between the off peak option and the CityTicket, how I know which of both I have to buy? Thanks
How long does it take for the whole trip from grand central to terminal jfk? Thank you so much for this info! The ctlimo was gonna charme me 260 to pick me up from the airport to ct😤
45:38 I can see a rail from the Rockaway connection that used to exist. Look down into the underpass cut. 1:08:22 The computer was starting to explain Terminal 1, and you interrupted my hearing of the message ! We didn't find out why the whole Terminals Loop is not operating. Aarre Peltomaa
How and where am I going to store my luggage? I will have 6 big luggage's. Looks like the train does not have enough luggage storage places apart from the overhead ones?
The truth is, it is strange how the rate operates. In August 2023, on a Tuesday I took it from Jamaica during off-peak hours and it cost 8.5 on the Vendor Machine. The following week, when I returned to JFK, on a Monday, I took it at PennStation and bought it at the LIRR Service Ticketing during off-peak hours, and the cashier only charged me 5. But at the Vendor Machine it would have cost me 8. At the same time people who were in the Vendor Machine, I gave them the information and everyone paid only 5. Of course, the ticket expires in 6 hours. Will that be the difference?

Hello~ long time no talk, I saw you were using Airtrain. I have a question . You said that travelers have to transfer for terminal 1 underneath terminal 8??

LIRR is now in grand central Madison which is 140 feet under grand central

You can go from Penn station as well
Good stuff Brother, thank you!
The best NYC channel.
Does the AirTrain stop at Terminal 1 or do you always have to take the shuttle from Termainal 8 to Terminal 1?
If we buy a metro card and air train ticket at Grand Central itself then buying the metro card at Jamaica can be skipped? Please clarify.

That’s good information

Should have taken M42 bus or Shuttle to GCT from TS. Enter at the Vandebilt corner, much closer to the LIRR access.
Why not taking the E train from Manhattan to Jamaica station ????????????? or A train to Howard Beach ....
You can, but why the hassle with all the luggage if you had too many? 🤔
NYC spectacular ok

I’ll be taking this route from GCT, to Far Rockaway instead (on Monday), and the fare is $9.25 (off-peak/way)
Can we go to long island from JFK by using subway instead of the LIRR ? 😮 if can, how i should go?
How did you know what track to go on in Grand Madison after you got your ticket?
It will show in the screen of time schedule
Good morning
FYI never do option 2
Jamaica. Been a while since I've been there
Jamaica Changed a lot! Its now more beautiful then ever
Subway train nyc
JFK airport
Manhattan nyc
is there any bathroom inside the train?
All these trains works on sundays at night? (eg: 6pm - 9pm)
Yes
the guy yakking loudly on the phone.. unbelievable.
Yes that man ruined this video for me. Utterly obnoxious behaviour. Someone tells him off and he just keeps doing it.

The fee for the AirTran from Jamaica, went up-it used to be $5, then $5.50, and now it’s at $8/way
a bad thing !!

Easier and way cheaper to take the subway to Jamaica Station.
But can you take luggage?
@@leftieknitter7392 Of course!! I've seen people with refrigerators on the train
Good info, but too long of a video showing an instruction for going point A to point B
