Even if the film itself is not one of the franchise's better moments, this "action theme" composed by John Barry (RIP) is one of the best in the series. Classical meets electric guitar riffs, and it's a match made in heaven!
What is admirable about Bond is his patriotism and loyalty to Queen and Country. As action films they're the best in the genre, but it's the kicking arse for Blighty I like.
@@rameezahmed3231 Hans Zimmer has his ups and downs. (Muppets Treasure Island score, MI 2, Madagascar, DaVinci Code, Sherlock Holmes, No Time to Die is shaping up well to) But he has a bunch of IMHO mediocre soundtracks (Nolan Batman trilogy, Man of Steel, Amazing Spider-Man 2, The Rock) and then there's his god-awful scores (Batman v Superman, Inception trailer...) and the "Epic" orchestra sound it's spawned that's so oversaturated nowadays - especially of superhero movies. IMHO, Korngold, Herrmann, Williams, Elfman, Horner, and Barry are some of the all-time best. No one even comes close to their own uniqueness and specific cinematic styles. Absolute beautiful scores from every one!
@@rameezahmed3231 Zimmer did some very good soundtracks for Ridley Scott but much of his work sucks. John Barry, Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Bernard Herrman, James Horner, that's the elite and Zimmer is nowhere near what they were.
Duran Duran and John Barry are two conflicting musical styles that work very well together... then David Arnold, although not replacing John Barry in terms of scope- Barry's was a tough act to follow- gave the music for Brosnan's films a more contemporary sound, though it still sounded Bondian.
@@iammrbadguy9706 well about that. It was the clash between him and A-HA about the living daylight theme song, a-ha wanted only synthesizer in their songs, while Barry was pushing for more orchestral notes.
This was not a good Bond….It was dirty and mean. Poor acting by everyone..Walken and Grace Jones. Poor Directing by John Glen…even Roger Moore didn’t like the movie…but the score by John Barry was damn good and Duran Duran with John Barry was a Good Song..Too Bad the movie sucked!

No one can touch John Barry when it comes to Bond music. NO ONE
Yeah some of his final work was his best, especially The Living Daylights were they started mixing in some electronic stuff
"Oh! Swing me back!"
This soundtrack is pure filth so good
The last Movie with Roger Moore played 007 James Bond
R.I.P Roger Moore
The last and my Favorite!
Certainly not the best film in the series but my personal favourite as far as the score is concerned 👍
My favorite song from my favorite Bond score
One of my favorite scores 2016 and, I'm still rocking it out!!!!!! Oh God i think i just showed my age!
probably my favourite soundtrack along with For Your Eyes Only and Spy Who Loved Me
I love that sound in For Your Eyes Only. They play it when he goes down that ski jump.

I'm American and I agree. James Bond is Britain's Superhero savior. A deeply loyal action hero! Amazing character. :)
John Barry was best movie composer ever
Sorry but for me is hanz Zimmer the dark knight music the rock music and many more are his great hits

@@ricardocantoral7672 Totally agree.
This is beyond iconic
I love this movie. It is bond formula meeting the 80s and it works.
The best Bond film.

Bill Conti also gives FOR YOUR EYES ONLY a best score😊
This album is hot !😊
Thanks for post this epic song from soundtrack A View To a Kill
The only one who disliked this must be Zorin.
lol yeah i hear he was a washout anyway!
Dr. Hans Glaub/Carl Mortner and Scarpine Also Disliked This
Hahahahahahahahaha ah ah aaaaagggggghhhh!!!!
Imagine forcing john barry to add a beach boy song between this godly track.
No wonder he only did one other soundtrack-composition for a Bond movie after this.

This music really brings the suspense with those riffs.
Amazing theme
R.I.P. Both on the Picture!!!
The two dislikes are from Zorin and Scarpine.
This music is from when they were escaping City Hall in a firetruck.
And the other 4 or 5 times it plays in the film.
Very good music,very good actor

Stacey......JUMP...classic line on the bridge

I long for Henry Cavill to take over as Bond and for us to get a movie with a soundtrack in this vein. Yes, I like cheese. Sue me.
Anthologic song and Movie
He’s …Yes
Hes….NO!

The next James Bond will be black.
I don't think so.
What´s wrong with that?
Black and trasgender
There's only 3 actors that can do bond Idris cavill , Hardy or Charlie other then that I don't see anyone else
