I just finished installing mine, and I wasn't expecting such a large difference for a stock base system. It feels much louder and clearer, and the highs that come through are phenomenal compared to the stock ones. Very happy with mine and I'm going to be keeping them and looking forward to see how they break in.

Quite a noticable difference. Great song choice - you can't ever go wrong with JT in the JT... Just told my wife what my next upgrade will be.

Is it any louder the the upgraded alpine speakers you think?
Is it louder? Seems like? AT 85mph with the top off I barley hear the music with the factory Alpine.

Finally a comparison video. Everything I’ve seen so far is a swap and thats it.
Dude, look at the tiny magnet in your replacements. You would have been better off doing that exact same swap using a metra harness with Kickers or MB Quart, far cheaper and better speakers.
My only gripe is they recommend a really high crossover setting, like 180hz and up. I checked, and they play lower with no distortion. Just curious on why they recommend such a high x-over.
would polyfill behind these aid in the sound improvement?
Installed these in my Wrangler Sahara 4xe last week. Easy install, definitely does bring the higher frequencies. I guess they quit shipping the tool with the unit, but I had a stubby philips screwdriver on hand, so no big deal.
Was your Grand Cherokee stock, as far as suspension?
Huge difference on the higher frequencies, punchier lower end and improved mids.
Just ordered mine have upgraded Kenwood 2 way which were 4 ohms and though the bottom mid off balance but sounded pretty . these are supposed to be brill-ant sounding we will see
what is your settings at for the better sound quaity
There is a difference..Looks like I will be changing my front speakers in my Gladiator Mojave.

Put a set in my JT last year. Pricey but worth it. I can hear the highs now.

Hi Brad, I can't wait to get more content from you. Maybe do short clip just talking about what you take on your trips, gas prices, what solar generator you are using right now. What you think how much wh these actually need. Meybe talk about new trips. While I drive my 2018 overland Diesel on German "Autobahn" and in my city (Hamburg), I find it very relaxing to watch your videos and maybe dream a bit about going offroad or just away.
By the way, since the ucrain conflict our gas / diesel price has gone up to 8,36$ / Gallon (2€/1L)
Hang in there we are about to start up again. We have an off road trip this weekend and should be a bit more consistent again.

do you have the factory Alpine system? Just wondering how much of a upgrade over Alpine these are? I'm not impressed with the alpine. Thanks
If your not impressed with the Alpine, you'd surely be disappointed in the JBL system I had in Tacoma. What I did for the stock Alpine system is I replaced the front dash speakers with legit Alpine 3.5 (had to order from Europe) and the same for the 4" in the sound bar. While I had the sound bar speakers out I put dynamat sound deadener inside the sound bar. Overall it made a noticeable difference. I'd say it sounds about 4 or 5 increments louder. Meaning its the same loudness now at 18 on volume it would have to be at 23 stock.

My alpine system blows away any system I've had in awhile and I've had raptors,shelbys,c7 vettes etc.
Tell us what you've had that's so much better than the alpine in the jt.
I have the Alpine also. I absolutely love the sound. Best I have had Have had Bose in vettes and Hummers

My JBl club sounded equally good and little better in handling high frequency notes. Terra sounded good at higher volumes. I wouldn't say they are worth $249. Choose wisely.
