Tbh it's become easier to DO these days and modern games are much better balanced than old ones used to be, but that also meant people's standards shifted, so what we call OP now is still much more interactable than what boomers had to deal with
@@DestroyerOfDoom Again, if they DIDN't hit in the air he would be bottom F tier. HC isn't balanced, but he's also one of the hardest characters to balance EVER in a fighting game due to being a brand new kind of archetype with a very volatile gameplay style. I hate dashblocking as much as anyone else but it be what it be.
The one thing that comes to mind while watching this is just Smash Ultimate balance and how much I disliked the balance for that game, mostly because the low-bottom tier characters just have nothing to really do that another character can’t do better but some of them the devs keep low tier because casuals which I can understand to some extent but that’s also really stupid because it means characters like Little Mac and Ganondorf just have pretty much no purpose and have pretty abysmal matchups.
I can already tell ABA beats nago as she already has all the necessary tools to attack him. She literally has a better blood rage meter that she can turn off and on and as well as have a timestop that is probably much better than nago time stop. Im pretty sure arcsys will make wise balance changes to compensate the nago mu being in ABA's favor. They need to make nago have a special cancelable FSSS and AIR OK fukyo imo
Balancing is zero sum fun, the more buffs you give a char to make them fun to play, you make them less fun to play against. Just gotta find the right line in between.
Switching places with Eddie isn't Zato's new special, it's a change to an existing special - Break The Law. He will get an entirely new move at some point down the road.
@@NickJJU that is the "excuse" acrsys said? Because it feels like a way to cover the insfatisfaction from the zato players, but if true, I'm eager to see what we are getting
Strive honestly was so much more fun in 1.0, people say there was a lot of silly shit like I dunno, Sol or May pressure or whatever, but I would rather deal with Sol's f.S than play the kusoge that Strive had become. Strive is the victim of buff>nerf mentality and we should learn from it. Devs should learn from it.

Buffing is only the best when it's MY character - BigSmoke, 2023
You are so right SQ, lets nerf bedman and buff ram thanks for the continued great content!
You’re so right
Ur kinda spitting
Always buffing characters can be dangerous
Unless it’s ram, she needs all the help she can get 😤
Pls daisuke
we give the dev team a lot of shit but when you think about it Balancing a fighting game must be one of the hardest challenges .

nah the people who created hc were smoking some good ones. No one like dash blocking. I dont get why they made his bullets hit in the air. So dumb

We should buff my character tho fr fr trust
When strong characters are strong
as axl main im happy with my char changes I try my best to work with what I got pray I piss out my opponents enough to steal wins
They can get rid of DP into RTL but they gotta make Beak Driver a functional move
I'm sorry, but I was getting distracted by the fact you were fighting NBN over 90MS. How do y'all do it?

The only objectively correct change here is deleting Happy Chaos.

Not entirely true. A characters fun factors /= power.
Zato has a new move, no one is using it because it has absolutely no funcionality, genuinely the worst special move in the game

we need to nerf
6:19 Imagine getting a new move that is so bad, people don't even know it exists..

@@NickJJU Oh my go that's true! You made me re-read the s3 patch notes. That makes me a bit happier (:
I think they should buff I-no 🙂
If everyone is busted then nobody is busted. Hand out buffs like Oprah.
Then the game devolves into who can land the first hit
@NickJJU so when you get the 1st hit thats when you hit em with the "ohh you almost had it you gotta be quicker than that" 😂
