I think the Skrillex & Fred Again videos you made were REALLY good but on this video the beat itself did not sound like Flume at all. The musical/fx and vocal parts were great but the drums made the whole song a completely different vibe than Flume would do. Looking forward to seeing more of this videos from you, keep up the good work!

Yeah the snare on 2 and 4 is not common in any flume album. It's different but still cool

His detuning also is noticeable but not too crazy and typicall resolves back to in tune i think

Flume uses mostly acoustic drum samples. He talks about it in one of his videos.
yet he also has SOMA Pulsar-23, so if you take a listen to the Palaces, sure you'll hear some of it as well (:
