basically, the red reticle from a longer range weapon carries over for a very tiny amount of time when switching to the sword, so just cancel the animation (to allow swinging instantly) and lunge :D
If you think being careful and shooting enemies takes more skill than multiple frame perfect inputs + risky strats + knowledge of the mission then that must say something about your aim.
@@ytistrash Obviously you haven't played Halo 2 on Legendary if you think being careful is less skill than not even fighting them. The enemies can kill in less than 1 second.
i've been playing the game for probably almost 20 years, i've played it on legendary hundreds of times, i think i know it's difficult, but considering less than 50 people have beaten this time you must realize it's a bit harder no?
Try doing this yourself and you will see it takes a whole lot of skill. I can beat this on legendary, I can't do it in even half this time. I do get where you are coming from, a speedrun category of time while killing every enemy would be interesting.

the carbine range is still enough and i prefer it for killing enemies :D
