SMG: holographic sight + laser targeter, or recon scope + stabilization jets. Keep in mind, you should use attachments to match your play style. If you're going to be shooting vehicles use kinetic bolts, if mid-long range combat then use long barrels, if being stealthy use silencers, etc.

A skilled player prefers temple over ultra because of its better handling and the ability to shoot while boosting which is very good for hit and runs just go look at spliced his favorite all time vehicle is banshee and with the ultra he has gotten so many infrigs with it its insane but when the temple came out he made a video comparing them even though there not as greats as yours Aozolai he explains why he likes the temple more and his gameplay shows why its really better and i agree but great video as always
+King0097 You are correct. That loop-de-loop trick that Banshees can do is very efficient at splattering enemies below you. This is because you cannot be hijacked when upside down in any Banshee. Anyway, I had to cut a lot of video footage out to stay strictly to a 'comparison' format, instead of leaning towards a tutorial on how to use the Banshees. I'm focused on giving you guys data/numbers, and you guys should apply it however it fits your play style.

Does anyone even remember the legendary level warthog run on Halo 3? Theres an app for the iPhone that basically remakes that level but it is randomly generated and infinite. its Called "Hulo infinite runner" and its Free! id definitely recommend it! Thats hUlo spelled with a U lol
Ultra is the way to go. Temple requires a certain kind of skill, and is a bit situational if you really need or want to fire while boosting. Sometimes I roll with Temple if they have multiple regular banshees or hornets in the air on Warzone. Firing while boosting is great. The fuel rod blast is so poor compared to the Ultra, but it's nice if you can spawn right and get the drop on the aerial enemy. No escape for your target unless they have the help.
Frankly I prefer to use the Temple banshee, Cause what I like to do is be a Banshee Dog fighter. Take to the skies and let a chase or a duel go on. While in the ultra I just like to do a little bombing run, Depending on the map I don't prefer to do the ol banshee trick
How r they able to evade repeatedly and fully! I can only evade like once per 5 or so seconds and sometimes it doesn’t do a full barrel roll. Does it have something to do with the RB button as I just learned that it slows down banshees?

I really hate how the temple banshee description says reduced cool down on the fuel rod when thats a total lie.

Temple banshee is better, if you are an experienced pilot. The shot is actually a little faster then the ultra's, if you know how to boost-flip properly. And you have greater agility on top of that. The only thing ultra does better is against vehicles or bosses, because of the cluster bomb. The reason why people say the ultra is better is because how easy it is to learn compared to the temple.

The Temple Banshee handles better when you hold 'Right Bumper' or pull back the 'Left Thumbstick' (causing flying speed to decrease). Although, to me this is quite useless most of the time considering slowing down speed with Banshees makes you an easier target for bullets, plasma pistols, lasers, etc. I prefer Ultra any time.

I took everything from Physics to Biology and Organic Chemistry in college, plus I did research which helps a ton understanding the proper way to do these analyses. Even if Halo 5 is a game, it's still cool to break it down with science now and then.
It says the temple banshee has better handling. What I think it means is it has a tighter turning radius, at least that is what I have observed. Could you check that out?
The 'left thumbstick' controls are more reactive for the Temple Banshee. You can dramatically reduce gliding speed by pulling back on the left thumbstick or almost be stationary - great for maneuverability between/around objects.
My thoughts as well. It is a better close in dogfighter. One other thing. There is a maneuver I discovered a while back that all banshees types are able to do. While in a boasting turn, hold the break button as well. Have you ever tried this?
Can't you also slow down the banshee by just pulling back the left thumb stick? Also, ty for showing me the wraith glide technique, it's fun gliding over ally and enemy tanks and hearing their reaction. This one time, I flew 20 feet in the air just to get over the other ally wraith in front of me in Warzone. I laughed my arse off about how I was flying like a banshee for a good couple seconds. Good times. Lol
