What's up guys at Sam Taggart, I'm going to talk to you about how much money there really is in door to door sales. Now a lot of people obviously see door to door sales is like the low man on the totem pole when it comes to sales jobs and they're looking at like medical supply sales or software sales or whatever else you could sell is like way more professional and way more technical and way cooler. But the reality is I know door to door sales guys that would run circles around other sales industries as far as an income level and they are really the gritty, hungry people in the world. Now a lot of people do this job because they couldn't get another job or out of necessity and it's just a quick like anyone's hiring. But the reality is you should shift your mindset to be no.
I've entered into one of the best vehicles for the, some of the highest potential earning out there. And what I mean by that is door to our sales professionals can make million plus, I mean I'm sitting in $1 million home right now. I drive the truck and my choice of travel the world. And I've done it all through knocking on doors. And the reality is, is because we're the hungry. We're the ones that are willing to go door after door, new prospect, after new prospects, get our face kicked in, but also create the business. A lot of sales jobs or just the scavenger waiting for the scraps that we fed. I looked at a car salesman and I go, well, what if no one shows up to your law? A lot of times you're just depending on how well the store, the traffic flow goes for door to door.
There's a million doors out here. You can go knock. You just got to get off your ass and go do it. So they are the highest paid professionals I've seen and some of the lowest paid professionals. So let's talk real numbers now. So the reality is you start out as a rep. So if I'm like brand new to this industry, it's like, great. You're going to have to work your way up. And that's just part of the journey. So accept that rep, you know, if you're selling like pest or solar roofs or something like that in a lot of times you just do it for a summer. Maybe it's because of the lighting or you're in school or whatever. Most guys can make 20 $30,000 just in three, four months. Now some of you guys are like, this must be a scam. Like there's no way I can make that much money.
It's like, yeah, think twice. I'm going to go do a summer internship. I'm going to go work at frickin Cole's or Home Depot, or I'm going to actually go make some real money and give it a shot. So if you're just getting started and you've never done this like door to our sales guys, even their very first year on average, 20 grand in a summer, that's like killer. And some guy's like, I'll tell you my story. I mean I made probably, I made 20 grand my very first two months. Then I left, I finished the season and then, you know, I came back the second season and made like 80 grand in four months. And then I made 250 grand in four months and you know, 250 grand is a 23 year old cat. Like that's a lot of money and a lot of times a lot of people don't understand like professionals, like guys that have a 10 year and a bachelor's degree don't make $250,000 it's hard to go make that kind of money.
And then you get like reps, I know reps making $1 million just as a sales professional, like selling all year, no team, no leader, no business owner, they just have a badge and a shirt and a clipboard and an iPad or whatever and they're going and hitting the pavement, bringing in seven figures. Now what happens if you move up into a management role? So how most of these companies are structured is you actually get paid to recruit. It's not some Mlm we have to byproduct in order to keep it on the tee. Like you're not doing that. What I mean is they incentivize you to go build teams and lead these teams and create more sales volume for yourself. So managers, typically we'll make a percentage or an override over the teams below them. Meaning if I had 20 guys under me, it didn't even moment. I might make a small percentage over all of their sales, therefore I'm still selling, making my half million bucks or 20 grand or 50 grand or whatever you're making.
This is my first time doing door to door sells and, I'm not that good at it but, I literally just dread the thought of giving up. I'm trying my best everyday to get better than I did yesterday.

I still know my first day D2D, three doors and I was horrified. I couldn't go on, I didn't know what to do anymore. As of now: I love D2D and it really shot my business up.

You definitely should. Whether they buy or not is irrelevemt. You will learn how to connect witb people better and br altogether "stickier" You will become a better version on yourself and that will get you ahead in the art world
Yes, I would. You can also network. Ask if they know art galleries or anyone who may be interested. People love helping artist ballsy enough to go d2d. Keep it simple and don't over think.
