Yes, I realize I said "Mixed" instead of "Motor" when referring to MVUMs. I've heard it both ways and that came out when I shot the video. I apologize for that.
I have never heard of the part about Parking one vehicle length of road? Nor Have I heard of the 100 feet from a water source, we have camped up at Tin Cup Many times closer than that to the Creeks, and such. And never have been told other wise? And I will not Make My OWN path to camp site, let along camp one car length from the road, that would Mean people that drive in at night would drive right by your camp site. No thanks, I have to get me a fire wood permit this year and I will be asking the Rangers about these NEW things I have never heard of. I have been camping, hiking here ALL my life, and never been told anything like this.
The "one vehicle length within the road" rule varies by destination, so you'll need to check beforehand. A few months ago I was dispersed-camping south of Ouray, and parking was restricted by rock outcroppings (but tents could be erected further away). Then last month I was caping in the front range of Colorado and there was no such restriction. But I'm glad it inspires you to research the local rules before going.
isnt it odd how its not state wide, But Oh well, They make it up as they go I think! Thanks for the vid. made me want to take a drive! SO I am tomorrow! Be Safe out there!!!@@Berserkeroffroad

Great video. Covered a lot of important info. 👍🏻❤️🇺🇸
Thank you. I don't like seeing others traipsing through our lands and ruining it for the rest of us. A little info goes a long way.
nice
