    Have a play around with some basic settings. Start by being in the right 4x4 selection. Know what each manually shifted selection does.
    For example, 4x4 Auto, is passive 4x4. It activates automatically when wheel slip is detected. It's like a super setting for highway speeds and things like adoption to changed running surfaces. Suddenly raining on roadway. Wheels slip for micro seconds before it auto engages the front drive (is rear wheel in 2H) OR if on a dirt road with dry and rutted road surface, feels wheel slip and auto engages once more. Each time it does this you havepower driving both front and rear axles. If you were in the buying position and saw the value, in a Gladiator Rubicon, then they amongst a list of other things as long as my 💪 you would have Dana 44 Axel's

      Front and rear.
      OK so 4x4H (full time) this is for different conditions. Conditions more like when on soft sand, or dusty rutted dirt roads or any general conditions of safely moderated right foot.
      4x4LO is obviously where you are steep inclines, (slope) slow speed obstacles, more technical driving in some ways. Some prefer 4x4H driving, which would also be fun.
      As long as you are in 4x4H (active) then open up the off road plus on the interface and you will be quite impressed. You have various mode options such as "off road plus" but that is also a button so you can just press the button if you know what you want. Once you learn these settings, and understand the system, then you will push that button frequently enough to warrant having it 😀
      Lots of information on engine temps, pressures, charge, slope angles (pitch and roll) whether you have say your factory diff-locks (front and rear standard on Rubicon) or your electronically controlled front sway bar disconnect. You can easily drop pints in the Uconnect system maps app. Anyway as long as you are having fun by understanding your driving surroundings, then you will have a great time having a crack 🤙👍

    At about the 2:10 mark in your video, how did you have your electronics set up so you could get all that wheel spin? I find myself fighting the machine when I get into Mud.

      Hi mate, what vehicle do you have? I had the diff locks on to have power going to all 4 wheels. As you can see, it was very wet and muddy.

      How did you turn off the traction control and keep it off? Were you in 4H or 4L?

    • @teddysgarage_
      @teddysgarage_  5 місяців тому +1

      @malachi2371 when in 4L the traction control is turned off automatically. I believe the Mojave only has a rear locker

      @@teddysgarage_ yes, you are correct.
      Were you in for low in that part of the video?
      I know I was in for high to give me greater wheel spin, but maybe that was a mistake .
