That's a cool looking Flatty. I'm guessing it 's Freiburger's. It reminds me of the first Jeep that my Late Dad bought back in 1971. It was a 1943 Willy's and it was rough as a cob. I miss you very much Dad.

2:50 - Stopped using this brand after my FF DOHC started idling at a low RPM and rough. Under performed also. Moved over to the brand with the red pump sticker, car idles like new again and scrambles onto the freeway on-ramps. 😊 (4-cylinder 1.6L, maybe 150 HP).
Don't buy it in AZ, it's a dollar more than every other station. No telling how long it's been in the ground, I've never seen a tanker there and all the lanes will be empty while there's a 20 minute wait for gas at Costco.

I saw Diesel for $4.069 in Mitchell South Dakota last week. Where I live I paid $4.549/gallon for Diesel. Premium here is $4.229
Wow! Gas in The Kansas City area is only $3.14
I hope Tucson Dragway covered your expenses like they do for match racers. That one day turn-around had to cost you $3500 just in tires and gasoline.

California has its own gas. No other state uses the same formula. That and with the states war on oil there’s half the refining capacity within the state to produce it than 20 years ago.

$7.29! Really? Damn gas in California is expensive. I remember when I thought 3 bucks was outrageous. That’s enough to make any car guy vote Republican.
E85 at the local Buc-ees. $2.79. 91 octane ethanol free will cost you $3.99 a gallon though. Add octane booster to it though and you can make 109 octane good for just about any compression ratio and it’s much cheaper than canned race fuels.
California gasoline refineries stick it to the residents because of the taxes Californias government thinks helps.
@@concernedcitizen1320 Not to mention all CA gasoline sold must be refined to CA only specs in CA and of the 4 or 5 refineries making it (along with 49 state fuel they export) there's ALWAYS one of them down for maintence...

At $7.29 a gallon Texans would be using picks and shovels to dig for it. Something about the California sunshine or water must make people stupid.
