Ninebot Max G30 Has a video on UA-cam showing how a guy in Vancouver was riding in the rain and it was PERFECT on the inside! So I really want to see it's big brother able to handle the Vancouver weather before I can say it's better! Here's to hoping that the suspension does not interfere with the Perfect rain proofing!

It’s also 10lbs more, larger and 200 more than the original. The extra weight makes a difference when carrying the scooter which is smth everyone does if they commute

    G30 for portability.
    G2 for comfort.

I need answers for 3 questions if you answer positively I am buying a G2 this month for sure
Question 1: Is this Bike only for Summers? Like can I ride it in Rain and Snow?
Question 2: Are this allowed to carry in Public transport like ttc and subway?
Question 3: How safe it is to park your segway outside for 3hrs minimum? What safety precautions I should take?

    • @segwayontario
      @segwayontario  Місяць тому +2

      Great questions!
      1. It is not recommended to ride your MAX G2 or any electric scooter in the rain or snow. You can if you’d like, but if you choose to ride in these conditions, please make sure your nuts, bolts, and ports are closed/tightened. Also, it’s always important to wear a helmet and go a safe speed/speed limit in your local jurisdiction.
      2. If you choose to carry your MAX G2 or any electric kickscooter in public transit (i.e., the bus, subway, or streetcar), make sure you fold it down and stow it away by your feet, so it’s not in the way of any passengers. Segway-Ninebot devices are “UL certified” and have a safety sticker on the side of the device by the charging port, in case anyone gets curious.
      3. If you park your Segway-Ninebot scooter outside, it’s best to use a minimum of 2-3 different locks, as thieves will try anything to steal your scooter, no matter the time of day. We carry a lock called the “E-took” on our website at segwayofontario.com, which is able to thread through the front wheel of Ninebot MAX series scooters, in addition to other exterior parts. Having said that, it’s best not to leave your scooter out at night, rather just take it inside instead.
We hope these tips help you out! 😄 - Mikey

“Unlike the Max 30p, the Max G2 has …” You didnt really go over the pros and cons of the Max 30P. Im more interested in portability as I would like an E-scooter that I can roll along like luggage on a paved trail for 10-15 miles while my wife pushes the stroller, then I can simply ride the scooter back to the car and drive back to pick up my wife and kid. Do you recommend a scooter for that?

Our apologies for the delayed response! In terms of your portability question, you can certainly roll it around like luggage for a period of time (even while it’s off) and ride the scooter back to your car as you please. @segwayontario  2 місяці тому +1

Hey, thanks for the comment! The MAX G30P doesn’t have suspension. There are a couple ways of going about this.
      1. We’d recommend either bending your knees to minimize impact on your body while riding along bumpy roads and/or going slowly.
      2. If you’re not 100% satisfied with the MAX G30P, you could always return it and buy the G2 instead. - Mikey

@@TheHackityHack we do install Monorim shocks on the MAX G30P, not Sharkset. However, it’s worth mentioning the following:

I really want this G2 model but it's illegal in Sweden, maximum of 250W power and 20km/h to be classified as a bicycle, meaning no helmet and no extra insurance needed.
You wont get stopped ever by police everyone is driving these 500w 30km/h scooters here.
The problem is when it get's stolen, the home insurance company wont give you any money, in fact i bought my E2S model a month ago, 250W power but unlocked model, goes 30km/h. And it got stolen yesterday, i had a really bad lock on it, should have bought the best locks, anyway now i lost those 500 euros. I'm leaning towards bying another one same model but the limited to 20km/h model, it sucks because that's a bit slow but unfortunately there are these low life people who loves to steal these, and yeah it will feel better having one that the insurance company will compensate me for if stolen.
