Here's PART 3 of the "How to Use Yoga Props" series! Using a yoga strap is great for making a pose safer and more accessible for beginners. It can also enhance intermediate and advanced yoga poses. At almost 18 weeks pregnant, I find that I need "assistance" more and more, haha :) Hope this helps! Let me know what you think. This is amazing! I don't practice yoga but I had an injury and my pilates instructor tought me a lot of these poses, for streching purposes. I bought myself a strap yesterday and now I'll be able to use it so much better, without the risk of further harming myself. Thank you!!
Thank you for how you relay information at a nice clip! So many videos drag on n on! You get right into your presentation with care knowledge and skills.
Thank you for all the ideas. I teach a restorative class and the participants often require modifications for their poses. Looking forward to your bolster video as well.
Fabulous. Thanks so much. I'm an injured big guy using yoga to rehab my banged up power lifter/strongman body. Just got my strap in the mail and found your video. Anything with hands behind my back and basically all binding moves are impossible for now (big back and shoulders and limited ROM)... again thanks!
Hi Maris! This series is great. Did you post a video on bolsters/blankets? I can't find one. I'm struggling to decide whether to buy a bolster or a cheaper blanket...
Thanks so much I am really enjoying your videos. Just a gentle suggestion; the plastic buckle strap over the metal one. Should we be doing anything we can to cut down in any unnecessary plastics in this modern world now given the ecological concerns. Again thank you for your videos.
Thanks for watching! A good alternative is to simply use a small towel or any strap/belt with no plastic buckle. I agree that we should minimize our consumption of plastics.
I agree that BKS Iyengar pioneered the use of most props but I disagree that only Iyengar teachers understand how to use them. Like most other skills, using yoga props can be learned.

Hi there! I haven't posted one for bolsters and blankets. Sorry about that. I will start planning for that video. :)

Nice lady but Mr Iyengar introduced props in yoga and only Iyengar teachers understand how the props should be used.

@@YogaUpload you can end up doing more harm than good if not properly trained....
