- I shared this pieced together envelope in a previous video and I had a few requests to share how it is made. This is completely inspired by the amazing Jibid Neary. Following the tutorial I show a few ephemera pieces I made last week and when I’ll be listing the scrap cluster and ephemera envelopes in my Etsy shop on Wednesday, July 20th.

Ha, I camp and take my craft stuff or my painting stuff. When I’m in Mexico for a long holiday I do all kinds of crafting or painting. Creativity doesn’t stop for holidays. Lol. 🤣🤣🤣. Love those envelopes💕💕💕 thank you.

When you are making a little notebook, if you take the inside pages and sew a short stack of them with NO thread, it will perforate the pages. Then when you sew them into the book, sew above that row of perfs. Then you can easily tear out the pages. My 2 cents. 🙂

Hope you feel better in time forthe wedding. My sons is in 2 weekd and we are crossing fingers and toes yhat noone goes down with covid between now and then. Love these envelopes. Great way to use scraps.

Hi Cori, what a great idea, thankyou for sharing, still half way through this tutorial but what an inspiration you are.
And taking it to another level you could make alternative background papers with the same principle, I know there's college but to stick to this method would be great for that or anything, been binge watching you today, only found uou this morning.

I love this clever idea. I have dawdled getting the TF Compendium series, but I don't know why. I love the papers. I love the glass mat; I went to the Glassboards website, but at $149 for a mat the size of yours. . . that's awfully pricey, to my mind. Probably worth it, retired/social security income won't stretchfor that. It was good to see it though. One of the things about your crafting/making is your precision. I see so make makers who are so haphazard about measuring and folding. . . Their creations are often delightful and charming, but I love the accuracy you bring to your videos. Take care, stay safe.
WOW! The glass boards have gone up. I'm pretty sure I paid under $100 for mine. I'm fairly sure (it has been a while) that there is a 25% deal now, with the code Cori25, but that is still quite spendy. I love the mat, but it's not for everyone.

I knew that was not your usual voice. Get stronger soon. I got "the virus" at my dad's funeral July 8. Was so disappointed with relatives who attended with symptoms and no masks, infecting me, a sister, her daughter and husband, their 2-year-old, and my 80-year-old aunt who was hospitalized 2 days. It was an otherwise beautifully planned and executed celebration of his life. But after 7 days, antibiotics and prednisolone, and more peppermint tea and honey than I have ever consumed in my lifetime, my sense of smell has somewhat returned, and I can taste peach popsicles again. Hope the wedding is unhampered by this inconvenient illness. Hugs. 😘😘 (And those are such sexy envelopes.)

Woah! You seem to know the secret of how to control the size and shape of your envelopes! I follow the guidelines and still get nowhere near the shape I was crossing my fingers for. I sure would like to know how to make coin envelopes to fit in pockets......a pipe dream at this point!

@@CoriDahmen I think I would like a tutorial on how to adjust sizing to get wider or narrower envelopes by explaining the principle of how the punch board works with out strictly following the directions per each sized envelope listed on the board its self..It seems that you made adjustments according to your preference.

I love these!!! Is it difficult to work with different weight papers in the same project? I have got so many scraps and this is a great way to use them! TYFS
I like the mix of weights, just make sure that each piece has stability of its own, or double layer it 😊

I love these!! So gorgeous! The brown tinted tracing paper you have, did you die it or is there a source you buy it from? I have only seen it in white and didn’t have much luck dying it.

Pour coffee in tray
Dunk tracing paper in coffee
Lay flat to dry
Put dried paper in press to flatten
That is it!
