Purple Rain: Solo Improvisation - Prince by Santosh Kuppens

My tribute to Prince Rogers Nelson, who died 5 years ago on this date. Rest in peace, you musical wonder!
The song itself needs no introduction. I have written my own solo over this. Jamming over tracks I know and like has always been one of my favourite pastimes. It's not only fun, but it also develops my musicality and sense for melody. Over several improvisation sessions in my bedroom, I gathered bits and pieces and this is the result. Some fragments are closer to Prince's lines than others, but nonetheless do I think they blend well together.
