Correct, the Pepsi does have lime in Korea. Next time you fly to Incheon, there is a big shopping mall behind your hotel, about a 20 minute walk away. You can grab a taxi and tell the driver you want to go to Hyundai Premium Outlets, where you will find the interconnected shopping malls. Plenty of food to choose from there. Great video!
And then, just when you showed it snowing in Incheon, I was thinking....As soon as you get back home, you'll get another dose of the fluffy white stuff falling ❄from the sky! Great jog documenting this epic voyage Darren! C-yaaa!
It's a Model Y. :) The Tesla seatbelt adjusters and the shape of the headrests give it away, despite the mods. ;) Though more easily identified by watching other videos, ha! Also, I think I was in Seoul at the same time! :)
Great video. I’m definitely sitting on the left side window seat to see NK airspace when landing at ICN. Pick up another trip I’m flying there in 10 days. Get that London money though.
How often do you do the Korea trips? I see the Dallas to Korea/ Japan flights just about every day when it’s sunny in my area a few hours west of Seattle.
Hey Darren,my wife and I have flown into Frankfurt and let me tell you. This airport is big and busy, there's lots of walking. just my point of view and some say different.
I really enjoy your content Darren! Would love to host you on my flight schools (Flex Air) “View From the Flight Deck” webinar and speak to our students about your journey!
The seniority numbers you posted are very interesting. Is that based on flight hours alone or a mixture of flight hours, time with the company, etc? I guess it's easier to somewhat size a pilot up by the seniority number than to ask how many flight hours, etc., that one has.
It’s purely based on date of hire. That’s it. Even then a pilot could be hired. Take a leave of absence and come back 10 years later being service but low hours.
Just had my commercial check ride with a DPE who just retired as a 777 captain with your company. Having watched your last Korea video, I asked him about his experiences leaving Incheon and dodging DPRK airspace 😂
Great to see the happy faces of your wife and youngest. That's cool. Thank you
Great analysis Showtime!
The mental image of that tesla in the courthouse parking garage… lol, I love it
Very fun video. It must be amazing to fly for Costco Airlines! =) =)

Hi, Darren! Welcome to Korea!!! 😊
It’s weird not seeing you on a London trip.
Great video!!

You may need to make Korea a regular trip for churros.

I bet I know him if you’re in the DFW area. Last name Peterson? If so he did my very first OE on the 777.
@ yes! It was B Peterson! I was curious during the ride if he knew you but didn’t ask xD
Great video.. in real life, can widebodies land/to on 13/31's?
We landed on 31L! So yes. Taking off depends on weight, temp and wind.
And thank you
Thanks for the video, great as always. For the CA to reach #2, would that be close to 30yrs?
More than that.. closer to 40. He’s from a different generation.
Wow! That’s incredible
Hey Darren! Was this part of your January line or from December?
Did you ferry a 777 couple a days ago to Tulsa?
Nah. Saw that trip in open time though.
@@geekontheflightdeck dang it I almost went by there to see if it was you and meet you!
Being weight restricted did the non revs make it on your flight to Korea?
You pronounce Lotte “loht-te”. Teo syllables :)
Question Darren - are your 777-200ERs rated to the full 656000 pound MTOW, or is it something less?
That’s the pimp mobile you’re in.
You're an inspiration. I'm taking this journey all the way :)
Please let me know if there is any way I can be useful and help with your channel :)
Thanks! I’m all about sharing my journey with those who want to take it! Like, comment, subscribe and tell a friend!
Is that dogleg approach to 31L still done? I’d like to recreate it for the sim.
Not that I’ve seen. If you join the 35L localizer you can break off and turn left to land 31L fairly smoothly
If you plug in your car and park. Does it bill you idle time like the superchargers?
No idle. Free with paid parking. Honestly they need level 1 not level 2.
What simulator and controls do you use?
Xplane 12 and Turtle Beach. The controls are okay.
Did you find stuff to buy at Costco to bring home?
Everything is in such large quantities. Not this trip
DNA CHICK 😀
Whats the plan if the controllers miss you and you are danger close to the N. Korea border? Can you just deviate?
We would absolutely turn north.
