Great video as usual Ned, I’ve been out the trucking industry for the past 5 years, but due to what’s going on, the industry I’m in has been greatly affected, to a point where the work has dried up, this week I’ve retaken my CPC and hopefully be back on the road in the next few days, it’s nice to see and it’s about time that truck drivers are given the respect they deserve, without us there would be nothing on the shelves !

Its Monday and we have been watching your adventures all day Michael gets sunday and mondays off instead of being normal and having off weekends and so after watching i decided that i wanted to write and say hello. We have been to europe 8 times my family are from NL my parents came to Australia in 56 with 3 children then i was born in the 60s i feel very much like aim home when we visit NL thats the dutch blood running through my veins. Bloody hold ups is why I have an 80 Channel, Ultra High Frequency, Citizen Band, Two Way Radio in My Car tuned almost permanently to the Road Channel for Truck Drivers (Channel 40) and I can not tell you the number of times Chat on that Channel has been a God Send for avoiding problems (Police, Road Closures, Breakdowns, Crashes, Natural Hazards). Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Ned, were on the containers but we’ve been told to expect to be utilised on other work depending on needs in the industry. This virus is pure dogs balls! I went to get my stuff for the week from the supermarket and it’s futile, too many people are panic buying like fools. Keep yourself safe out there bud 👍🏼
I hear you about the traffic Ned. I have to drive 50 miles across the Dallas metropolitan area. Usually takes me about an hour and a half. the last couple of trips I've been able to get across in less than an hour. Freeway traffic is light. some of the docks around here have those metal pieces on the side, but most of the time they are painted a bright yellow so you can see them in the dark. They are a door destroyer... Have a great weekend!
i drive 55miles every morning too work in Dublin through Kilmoon cross, normal commute takes around 1 1/2 hours. last week was just over an hour. only upside of this virus ;). The amount of idiots on the road is still too high, a BMW overtook me on Friday along the straight after the Duleek turn @ 120+kph. He turned off right too avoid Kilmoon( back roads). He was waiting too turn out of the junction just b4 Ashbourne when i & loads of others passed. he only repassed me just b4 the m50 junction lol. stay safe Ned

Oh I gave up trying to sort out the bad driving in Ireland as all it was doing was driving up my blood pressure, don't think they will ever learn! Maybe they should be made do the equivalent of a cpc . Oh and I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth according to the mother in law the mrs. you're right about the traffic. My commute was 30 or 35 mins and now I can get home in 15 mins
