Few comments on things I need to clarify or correct. PLUS responses to some real 5 head takes in the comments I messed up on Rockets ability, it's not an ultimate. That being said that ability specifically is a problem and I stand by it. I know it's not a resurrect I'm conflating it with Sym teleport in Overwatch 1 because it's effectively very similar and causes similar problems. Flanking around is difficult and often in Top 500 lobbies the only viable flanker is maybe Spiderman, or you could argue Iron man. This means that it will rarely get punished at all and in an attrition battle kills happen slowly and fights can last forever meaning that ability goes too far. The fact it's not an ultimate actually doesn't matter it's just a powerful ability on a long CD same thing effectively. My suggestion is to basically slow the resurrect so that it takes a bit longer to happen but you still get in faster than walking back. Completely mental for someone to die and come back around the corner instantly and be able to ult or interact right away when they died seconds earlier. I agree with the idea that Hulk doesn't FEEL like Hulk and that his kit could be better adjusted to line up with his hero fantasy. The spit freeze is crazy random not that I think about it. Effective but also doesn't line up with him at all. From a balance perspective I changed my mind as well and believe he should for sure get some buffs going into next playtest. Everyone keeps talking about Punisher and I could see some nerfs to a few things on his kit. Perhaps his shotgun make it a double barrel with only 2 shots and a long reload or something like that. Overall he is powerful but on the safe side of powerful in my opinion. Unlike Hella, he doesn't feel oppressive to play against. Not even close. Still he stands out as one of the best DPS All my other takes on Panther, Luna, and whatever else are pretty much still unchanged. Let me know what you think I missed and give me your best arguments. I can change my mind.
@@coach_mills you might want to add that ur suggestion on Starlord having a meter is already in the game, as well as his ability to begin flight mid air. Hulk needs help in my opinion. His kit isn't bad but it doesn't feel like Hulk. His punches don't feel really impactful and that spit ability that freezes people just feels very out of place. Maybe have him throw a rock that knocks people around instead or something. Balance wise Hulk isn't in a bad place but he just doesn't feel right.
I agree. I thought he sucked at first but after putting more time on him I realized he's pretty good. But he still kind of sucks because he doesn't FEEL like the Hulk.
I haven't played this game yet, but based off the game play I've seen, I'd say he needs a rework. Hulk smash, rock throwing, a healing factor, stronger mele hits. Adding these will make him feel more like the Hulk
There’s no way on God’s green earth you genuinely think Punisher’s midrange infinite ammo anything delete shotgun and his any range shield and wall shred walking steel shredder of an ult isn’t one of the most busted things in the game. The fact that he had nearly 100% pick rate in tourney HAS to be some sort of indicator that MAYBE this character is a LITTLE strong. “No changes” has to be satire or rage bait, in which case, it definitely worked.
Expesily since this same character can hold positions, gun down air characters, nuke supports, shred tanks, and out dps Melee fights even in close quarters.
You can't use 100% pickrate when he was not the hero banned the most but I do agree he is one of the strongest characters in the game. In a world with the top level nerfed like Hella and Magneto he is very close behind
@@coach_mills okay maybe I should have structured this differently; every single game that punisher WASN’T banned, he was picked. Without fail. Hela was banned at a similar rate, but potentially slightly more only because she poses a slightly greater threat to iron man, who was the biggest carry of the tournament, but without fail Punisher was either played or banned. And if that plus every CC on this game saying Punisher is way to strong isn't an indicator that he needs a nerf, idk what is.
@@coach_millspunishers ult being CC immune is probably one of the dumbest things in the game. I’d nerf that and nerf his shotgun dmg or spread and then he is healthy
You said several times that rocket's ult revives allies but just to correct that, it is one of his powers that does this, his ult only buffs the damage dealt by his allies. I got really confused in the rocket's section of the video
Punisher definitely needs a nerf(s). I'd say reduce the damage for his shotgun because it does an unreasonable amount of damage for how easy it is it hit. And his ultimate needs a damage nerf too, there's really nothing you can do besides LOS'ing it, as it shreads through shields and you can't really overwhelm him either because you'll probably be dead by the time you get close to him.
Easiest nerf for Hela just reduce her health. Make it so she has to be way more strategic about when and where she chooses to engage and how often she needs to run away. Make her a true glass Cannon falling to a single spidey combo or a couple of headshots
My idea is she’s like Ashe, with a better version of Widow’s grapple. I think if she had to 3 tap instead of 2 tap everyone would be happy, either that or exactly what you said, nerf her health to about 175 so she’s not as oppressive. From my experience she even taps me out the air mid swing as Spider-Man with no consequence or way to shut her down, I could dive her but she taps my head, throws a CC, then taps me again before I can do anything meaningful and for reference this takes place in top 200 lobbies..

Enjoyed the overview of the characters, but there were multiple times you would mention ultimates but the footage playing wouldn't actually show that, specific examples were Dr. Strange and Scarlet Witch. Would just be nice for a new game to be able to see what you are talking about for the points you are making. :)
I strongly disagree that Luna’s ult is too strong/needs nerfs. She struggles against dive characters if she misses her freeze, and her ult teaches teams to budget. She can tank lots of ults, but any insta damage ult (Iron man, Scarlet, Magneto if he charges ult enough) takes her out. Also Rocket’s ult is the Damage boost (C.Y.A.) His revive (B.R.B) can only bring one person back, and has a 45+ second cool down. I think there are a lot of details you could have went over before this video was made.
A buff to Loki that would be great is when morphing into an enemy, his hp bar in their POV should also change to look friendly just to sow more confusion especially in a chaotic battle. Also his backstab should also be able to be done directly from it and do alot more damage maybe even a one hit KO.

I've hear a lot of black panther slander, the only issue I see for black panther is he doesn't get enough HP back when using his abilities. It's pretty important to his kit and if you chain your dashes right then it's almost impossible to kill one until they run out of all their abilities

this is what happens when people try to hop on the new shiny thing for the UA-cam grind.. He had 4 days in beta and from the sounds of it he otp couple of heroes in comp to get a high ranking.. So basically he only truly know a handfull of heroes rest he has no idea. Even for the character that he claims he played.. like Adam waarlock he doesnt know that once you res people with your ultimate they come back with %25 of their health. He is acting like he is resing ppl with full hp

As a Scarlet Witch second main, I would suggest a total rework of her ultimate. It's incredibly frustrating and annoying to get killed while charging. Literally the worst ultimate in the game. Because if you die, it doesn't just have zero impact (like when you missed a shot) - it has a negative impact since you're out of the battle and need to wait to respawn. In high ranks (platinum and above), it's almost impossible to use the ultimate without team help. And even if you survive, it still can be easily blocked with shields, enemies can just run away, or you can get stunned. The problem is that when you miss a skill, it's on you, you can get upset, but it’s not a big deal anyway. But with the skill like that, you can't control it properly and that’s extremely frustrating game experience. And I don't even ask for some insane ultimate like some heroes have, just something more stable, so I won't have to die all the time having no options to do anything about it.
As a Spider-Man main I believe that he needs a little more consistency. Because punisher and hela pretty much shut him down so maybe his web cluster could recharge faster by maybe 0.25 seconds or half a second. That would make him a little more powerful and a bit better in a long range scenario.
As a Spider-Man main who can take note of how oppressive pealing can feel I think he would do well with a second “Get Over Here” ability charge, and I’d gladly take that with an increase to it’s cooldown just to get a confirm on a kill even if it’s at the detriment of me hanging back and diving less to let both cooldowns recharge. But even after saying that I can understand why someone wouldn’t because in lower elo lobbies a good Spider-Man could use that to get 2 elims and really snowball a fight… even so I would still hope to see some day what that might actually look like.
I think that’s too much you can use his web swing as a substitute for the first engage because you can cancel the little flip he does with a web shot or an uppercut then use get over here if you struggle to confirm the kill as long as you have a web swing you kinda always have a get over here the best use for the ability is getting flyers and guaranteeing the combo if you don’t want to stress about the execution of just webswinging to the floor infront of next to someone I don’t think it’s good to take away the skill expression of that with an extra get over here plus it’s kind of auto aim even though he was my fav character two auto aim moves that lead to an almost instant kill combo is kinda crazy
@@zoekid6143remember, even if there is an extra ability available, the cooldown can't be used twice too quickly, much like trying to use his uppercut twice, you have to wait a couple seconds. The problem with Spider-Man currently is he's relatively easy to shut down in higher ranks of play. With supports that can even heal themselves to interrupt his combo he loses his carry potential. As I climbed I felt no problem with Spider-Man at first, he was fine, he actually dominates low ranks, but once people caught on, once I got to top500, and the higher ends of play, he became relatively unplayable, I would go in for an opportunistic approach, my damage would get outhealed, I would get CC'd punished, and killed 7 out of every 10 dives. I understand you can use web swings as a "get over here" but I'm saying this for the damage. Most players typically outheal the first combo but I believe a second one, if you're lucky enough to survive that long, could potentially confirm that kill specifically. I understand this opinion might be biased but I just don't like pokey attrition metas and I believe a meta where dive or brawl is dominating is better more fun, and more engaging for most games. 13:50 I'm the video he even starts to talk about how much work you have to put in only for them to just heal up, waste your effort and then CC/Kill you at very little cost to them.
@@rafaelwells7247 i see what your saying I didn’t think of the shared cooldown at all I thought you meant just being able to use it in quick succession makes sense now but I don’t think that’s a spiderman problem dive in general struggles in this game because of supports I think instead of another get over here everyone should just get a back pedal speed decrease or the melee characters should get a walk speed increase that way they’re more sticky and reliable and naturally as the insane hitscans that two tap aka hela and punisher shotgun as well as some support abilities get toned down a little dive will become much better making spiderman magik and panther much better
@@zoekid6143 this is something I could seriously agree with, also something about the healing in the game feels a little off/weird, in some places it feels like too much, and in others it feels like too little... too much against dive but too little in attrition based battles, I'm not sure if I dislike it yet, it is frustrating to play against, but I can see how it's there to keep supps from getting frustrated. I definitely need to play more when they bring it back to get a better opinion.
Jeff needs more mobility. His healing is fine, but a single person dive can screw him up. If his swim activated sooner, and moved him slightly faster in some way, he could escape _some_ dives. As it was in last beta, he just dies too easy.
Hulk needs a rework for sure. His shield doesn’t really fit his character (and is kinda weak) and his stun is just bad AND doesn’t fit his character either. They should make him more centered on the destructible environment (just an idea) or more actually beating the everliving life out of people, not weird stuns and shield.
I just got on to see what you had to say about Peni, I believe im somewhat qualified to speak on here because of having about 30 hours on her alone (one trick). Peni is a great character for shutting down, denying space, mobility, and sustain. Shes sacrifices damage from primary for the high burst dmg and area denial. I think shes misunderstood and the most she needs is either some damage moved from mines to primary, more dmg overall, or someway to make her more of a threat without making her too annoying. Shes already great for flanks imo with her climb move and pretty nice self heal overall, but her output as a whole is not there. Her CC has a 3 second cooldown too, but unless youre shutting down ults left and right it isnt as impacful as someone as someone like scarlet or hela.
I’d have to disagree. Hulk definitely needs a rework. He feels absurdly weak and absolutely needs a splash attack to prevent him from getting swarmed. His stasis move prevents you from attacking the enemy so what is the point of it and his thunderclap desperately needs a buff. There’s simply no point to him if Thor and Venom do what he does but better.
Yeah I feel like the hit reg issues in general need tons of work before the game is released. That and the low framerate even on decent rigs are my two biggest issues
Tbh I think that hulk needs a rework because the hulks I come across are not strong at all and they punisher needs a nerf. I also think Adam doesn’t need a nerf because even tho his heals are strong , he’s the only character who’s heals are on a timer and it balances out
Hulk no change? Seriously? You already suggested two to three changes and put him to no change? Bruh Hulk doesnt feel like hulk rn. He needs to be buffed or reworked. Black Panther doesnt need to be buffed but to be reworked. Sure he should be a diving menace but he is doing nothing on cooldown, his ult has litterally little value and his passive is freaking useless. Same thing with Thor. He doesnt feel like Thor at all. He is supposed to be a flying melee character that can occasionally shoot lightning. What we have is just awful. Thor should be able to fly at will, make a dive landing impact damage like venom, melee with his hammer, and shoot lightning. By the way throwing his hammer should immobilize touched target.
Ok I do admit my only experience with and vs Hulk is from playing with/against Winton_OW who might be one of the best Hulks in the world so I'm probably a bit off in my alignment on him.

For the character called "the strongest one there is" he doesn't feel very strong, just mobile. His kit feels more like something you would see on....I don't know, Drax or Beast or someone like that
@coach_mills Indeed. Also Black Panther. I get why u want him to be buffed. But his damage burst are good enough. What he needs is a rework. His survivability and efficiency is lower than any dps out there. He litteraly can do nothing when on cooldown. He should be able to throw 3 or 5 knives. His passives are useless and so is his ultimate which are all just offering him a time extension for zipping around the place. He should get a normal double jump, A speed boost instead of a damage and health one, his ult should be linked to the famous kinetic charge introduced in Black Panther the movie. Either an explosion or a located kinetic discharge.
I'm not completely sure but to me it felt like Peni was a decent worse during the bera compared alpha, her primary she had during alpha felt better, In short I think if they go back to the old rifle primary that could headshot and tweak her abilities, maybe rework the ult as well she'll be better
Honestly all i want is a venom shield nerf and thats really it. I like the chaos and the skill expression. I dont want them to destroy the skill expression they built like overwatch did.
@SpaceCowBoyRay In general I like that balance philosophy a lot as long as you don't start with some big outliers. For example, in order to catch up everyone else to characters like Hella and Magneto I think you would need to buff way too much too fast. Just nerf a little off the top and then we can buff from there.
I also feel like there are some abilities that feel sooooo bad and need visual or audio rework or something. Scarlett witches cc and Hellas cc feel awful
I think if OW is the matter of balance, then Rivals need to be OP for all character😊. Jeff is the most char need to be buff, 'coz Jeff dont have escape mechanism or disable ability (other than his ulti). Jeff need this, beside Mantis and Luna have disable ability, or Loki can disapear for a moment. Jeff is wide open😅
Truthfully only 4 characters need big changes. Penni because she’s awful, get Jeff out the game entirely and hela/punisher need touches to their damage.
Amazing video! This game is truly special and it has brought me so much fun compared to Overwatch in its current state. I love your Overwatch videos and looking forward to even more Marvel Rivals contents when the game releases.
This was a great video but I do think you need to gain more experience with the game as a whole before putting these characters into a state of changes. Like for example, with Black Panther, he is a lot weaker in comparison to the other DPS hero’s as he is a melee fighter with less damage output and long cooldowns however, if you ever play the character to a great extent you will get to see that his dash is really buggy and often does not register the way you want it to. Overall great video but do not force content to get in on the hype especially if you only played for 4 days. I am a top 100 DPS player in the game and this list is just not it
I played Black Panther in Top 500, he's one of my most played character. Yes the buggy problems with hitreg exists but that's not what this video is about. Even with perfect hit reg, Panther is still mediocre at best when teams have proper sustain comps
Uhhhhhh, as I go through this video, I realize more and more how much ur starting to show you only have 4 days of knowledge on this game. Rocket’s rebirth isn’t his ult, it’s an ability, and it’s not a tp, it’s a revive. It’s also not really rockets issue, bc the cd is very long. Rocket’s biggest issue is that he’s just too slippery, and imo it’s really his ult. His actual ult. He often gets ult first, and greatly shifts the tide of battle just by pressing q, and some fights just feel like winner goes to whichever rocket gets ult faster. M8 I feel you should really fact check some of ur takes b4 u make a video.

His ult is not the most broken part about him at all. It's very strong but it's also very possible to kite it or cut LOS. This is harder in ranked with bad communication and people are often split on what to do. Some shoot it, some run, some ignore etc. Everyone needs to be on the same page. If they were, focus fire, or kiting completely neutralizes that ult and positionally, no one should be playing away from corners besides a tank who can often not instant die to it.

Killing rocket can be rough because he’s very slippery, which I feel is one of the strongest parts of his kit, which leaves breaking the beacon, which isn’t exactly weak, but isn’t too healthy either. One good coordinated dive and you take it out easily, and you’ll have plenty of time to finish the fight before he has it up again. On the other hand you said his ult is not what makes him strong because you can LoS it, but that’s kinda the point. If a rocket has good ult placement, his team will be in LoS of the ult while enemies aren’t or put it behind a shield tank like strange or magneto, leaving only 2 options: burn another ult and/or valuable cd’s to push in and break it, or give point and back off. The fact that he can consistently get this ult first is a huge impact on the initial pace of the game. I personally don’t think any one thing makes him broken, but the combination of all these things he has, with effectively 0 down sides makes him a jack of all trades, and tho he may not particularly excel in anything, “A jack of all trades is a master of none, yet often times better than a master of one.” In his case, he may not excel, but he performs substantially in all categories, and is incredibly self sustaining, given he has permanent personal heals and the best movement in the game.

Not only that he talked as this was his ultimate ability... The ult is the damage boost beacon... not the res. I guess he did say he only had 4 days in the game. Which is crazy to think of making a video wher oyu only played for 4 days. I get that its the yt grind mind set but honeslty after watching the entire video I can say that this guy only has a good idea on couple of heroes and the rest... welp..
Ngl some of these takes make absolutely no sense. You said Black Panther is a little weak because with all the peel he can go in, do a bunch of damage, get no kills, and have to be useless for 8 seconds bc he’s waiting for cd, in addition to risking his life, which makes sense. Then you say Spider-Man is fine, even though he suffers from EXACTLY the same thing, except he only does single target damage. He can go in, get out healed without even baiting any abilities (maybe one ability with the venom team up but granted whatever he baits is on a lower cd than team up), then leave and be useless for 8 seconds while waiting for his grapple ability to be off cd. On top of that, in higher ranks he straight up gets tapped mid swing, and if by some miracle he doesn’t die, he’s 100% dead if he does anything but swing right back out to health pack of supps. Unlike black panther, Spider-Man also has 0 sustainability mid fight, and has the lowest damage per 10 out of any dps by far. At the highest level of play Spider-Man barely even got a cameo, much less playtime.

There are far more spidermans in top 500 than Black Panther. I'm also not arguing that Spiderman should NEVER be buffed, I just don't think it should happen right now as he is stronger effectively than heroes in a similar niche like Panther who deserve attention first. Spiderman could already be very strong with a nerf of peel all around which is what I want. I'm pretty pro dive in general and think Rivals would be really fun in a dive meta with heroes like Spiderman meta as well so IDK why you think I'm singling him out or something
@@coach_mills Necros fell off HARD and was only rank one for the first couple days. As soon as he ran into real comps in tournament he gave up entirely on Spider-Man and switched to Magik and Black Panther, and still got rolled 4 - 0. He had much better luck with Magik than anyone else, but his most played being Spider-Man didn’t even get to see playtime, and it also was his lowest damage per 10 by a decent bit despite having most of his hours by far, and that’s including the fact that he had previous experience on Spider-Man from alpha, and 0 experience on Magik because she didn’t exist until recent beta.
I mean it does look like it takes some core mechanics from Overwatch. First clip was hulk getting busted out of green like diva.😂 All in all though, it’s a hero shooter so similar balancing should be applied. As for the vid, good stuff. Do I believe as some random that it’s going to shake up the market? Maybe. It won’t kill overwatch( I always make the argument of why the community always say a game will kill another. It puts higher expections on a game without giving it its own unique player base.) This game follows the core Tank/DPS/Support with objective gameplay that Overwatch does.(Is a hero shooter focused on objective based gameplay. Another think that erks me is the same thing the D2KO is doing now and Multiverses did a year or two ago. Why are we running tournaments for a game that hasn’t proven itself to be stable yet? Only thing it does is diversify the player base where people get an elitism mindset about a game that isn’t even polished yet. The core things that need to be addressed about the game right now is how monetizing, Frequent balancing, developer PR, Server quality for all platforms it’s planning to release on, how will cross play and aim assist be handled(I hope they separate PC and Console for once because there’s always a wild reception in the player base about AA, Frames, Graphics and tech is handled. I remember Smite back in the day ran tournaments for console and PC separately and it was well received for the most part.) For accessibility reasons, I doubt they matter for a decrease in Queue times. The game does look like a superhero mashup that’s been waited on since the MVC series so that’s exciting. The last big superhero mashup game was Infinite and that bombed. 6 years later, this might being some hope back to those who want a true superhero experience in multiplayer gaming again.

Anyone who is Top 500 level in Overwatch will be able to get Top 500 in Rivals quickly. With it being limited beta as well the talent pool is lower. PLUS if you fill and play your fill well, it's not really that hard. Just lock in and caffeine up.
lol first few days of beta I got to gold three and was like top 300? Got to high diamond and it was pretty easy to stay top 200ish. It has to do with the fact that there aren’t too many people in the beta. And everyone is playing this (mostly) for the first time.

Everyone keeps talking about Punisher and I could see some nerfs to a few things on his kit. Perhaps his shotgun make it a double barrel with only 2 shots and a long reload or something like that. Overall he is powerful but on the safe side of powerful in my opinion. Unlike Hella, he doesn't feel oppressive to play against. Not even close. Still he stands out as one of the best DPS
All my other takes on Panther, Luna, and whatever else are pretty much still unchanged. Let me know what you think I missed and give me your best arguments. I can change my mind.

Hulk needs help in my opinion. His kit isn't bad but it doesn't feel like Hulk. His punches don't feel really impactful and that spit ability that freezes people just feels very out of place. Maybe have him throw a rock that knocks people around instead or something. Balance wise Hulk isn't in a bad place but he just doesn't feel right.

I haven't played this game yet, but based off the game play I've seen, I'd say he needs a rework. Hulk smash, rock throwing, a healing factor, stronger mele hits. Adding these will make him feel more like the Hulk
There’s no way on God’s green earth you genuinely think Punisher’s midrange infinite ammo anything delete shotgun and his any range shield and wall shred walking steel shredder of an ult isn’t one of the most busted things in the game. The fact that he had nearly 100% pick rate in tourney HAS to be some sort of indicator that MAYBE this character is a LITTLE strong. “No changes” has to be satire or rage bait, in which case, it definitely worked.
Expesily since this same character can hold positions, gun down air characters, nuke supports, shred tanks, and out dps Melee fights even in close quarters.
You can't use 100% pickrate when he was not the hero banned the most but I do agree he is one of the strongest characters in the game. In a world with the top level nerfed like Hella and Magneto he is very close behind
@@coach_mills okay maybe I should have structured this differently; every single game that punisher WASN’T banned, he was picked. Without fail. Hela was banned at a similar rate, but potentially slightly more only because she poses a slightly greater threat to iron man, who was the biggest carry of the tournament, but without fail Punisher was either played or banned. And if that plus every CC on this game saying Punisher is way to strong isn't an indicator that he needs a nerf, idk what is.

You said several times that rocket's ult revives allies but just to correct that, it is one of his powers that does this, his ult only buffs the damage dealt by his allies. I got really confused in the rocket's section of the video

I'd say reduce the damage for his shotgun because it does an unreasonable amount of damage for how easy it is it hit.
And his ultimate needs a damage nerf too, there's really nothing you can do besides LOS'ing it, as it shreads through shields and you can't really overwhelm him either because you'll probably be dead by the time you get close to him.
All melee characters need a range increase. You need to get way to close to do melee damage
Easiest nerf for Hela just reduce her health. Make it so she has to be way more strategic about when and where she chooses to engage and how often she needs to run away.
Make her a true glass Cannon falling to a single spidey combo or a couple of headshots
My idea is she’s like Ashe, with a better version of Widow’s grapple. I think if she had to 3 tap instead of 2 tap everyone would be happy, either that or exactly what you said, nerf her health to about 175 so she’s not as oppressive. From my experience she even taps me out the air mid swing as Spider-Man with no consequence or way to shut her down, I could dive her but she taps my head, throws a CC, then taps me again before I can do anything meaningful and for reference this takes place in top 200 lobbies..

Enjoyed the overview of the characters, but there were multiple times you would mention ultimates but the footage playing wouldn't actually show that, specific examples were Dr. Strange and Scarlet Witch. Would just be nice for a new game to be able to see what you are talking about for the points you are making. :)

I strongly disagree that Luna’s ult is too strong/needs nerfs. She struggles against dive characters if she misses her freeze, and her ult teaches teams to budget. She can tank lots of ults, but any insta damage ult (Iron man, Scarlet, Magneto if he charges ult enough) takes her out.
Also Rocket’s ult is the Damage boost (C.Y.A.) His revive (B.R.B) can only bring one person back, and has a 45+ second cool down. I think there are a lot of details you could have went over before this video was made.
Agree honestly they need to remember that dps is well off and ontop of that 2 tanks
A buff to Loki that would be great is when morphing into an enemy, his hp bar in their POV should also change to look friendly just to sow more confusion especially in a chaotic battle.
Also his backstab should also be able to be done directly from it and do alot more damage maybe even a one hit KO.

I've hear a lot of black panther slander, the only issue I see for black panther is he doesn't get enough HP back when using his abilities. It's pretty important to his kit and if you chain your dashes right then it's almost impossible to kill one until they run out of all their abilities

this is what happens when people try to hop on the new shiny thing for the UA-cam grind.. He had 4 days in beta and from the sounds of it he otp couple of heroes in comp to get a high ranking.. So basically he only truly know a handfull of heroes rest he has no idea. Even for the character that he claims he played.. like Adam waarlock he doesnt know that once you res people with your ultimate they come back with %25 of their health. He is acting like he is resing ppl with full hp

As a Scarlet Witch second main, I would suggest a total rework of her ultimate. It's incredibly frustrating and annoying to get killed while charging. Literally the worst ultimate in the game. Because if you die, it doesn't just have zero impact (like when you missed a shot) - it has a negative impact since you're out of the battle and need to wait to respawn. In high ranks (platinum and above), it's almost impossible to use the ultimate without team help. And even if you survive, it still can be easily blocked with shields, enemies can just run away, or you can get stunned. The problem is that when you miss a skill, it's on you, you can get upset, but it’s not a big deal anyway. But with the skill like that, you can't control it properly and that’s extremely frustrating game experience. And I don't even ask for some insane ultimate like some heroes have, just something more stable, so I won't have to die all the time having no options to do anything about it.
As a Spider-Man main I believe that he needs a little more consistency. Because punisher and hela pretty much shut him down so maybe his web cluster could recharge faster by maybe 0.25 seconds or half a second. That would make him a little more powerful and a bit better in a long range scenario.
As a Spider-Man main who can take note of how oppressive pealing can feel I think he would do well with a second “Get Over Here” ability charge, and I’d gladly take that with an increase to it’s cooldown just to get a confirm on a kill even if it’s at the detriment of me hanging back and diving less to let both cooldowns recharge. But even after saying that I can understand why someone wouldn’t because in lower elo lobbies a good Spider-Man could use that to get 2 elims and really snowball a fight… even so I would still hope to see some day what that might actually look like.
I think that’s too much you can use his web swing as a substitute for the first engage because you can cancel the little flip he does with a web shot or an uppercut then use get over here if you struggle to confirm the kill as long as you have a web swing you kinda always have a get over here the best use for the ability is getting flyers and guaranteeing the combo if you don’t want to stress about the execution of just webswinging to the floor infront of next to someone I don’t think it’s good to take away the skill expression of that with an extra get over here plus it’s kind of auto aim even though he was my fav character two auto aim moves that lead to an almost instant kill combo is kinda crazy
@@zoekid6143remember, even if there is an extra ability available, the cooldown can't be used twice too quickly, much like trying to use his uppercut twice, you have to wait a couple seconds.
The problem with Spider-Man currently is he's relatively easy to shut down in higher ranks of play. With supports that can even heal themselves to interrupt his combo he loses his carry potential. As I climbed I felt no problem with Spider-Man at first, he was fine, he actually dominates low ranks, but once people caught on, once I got to top500, and the higher ends of play, he became relatively unplayable, I would go in for an opportunistic approach, my damage would get outhealed, I would get CC'd punished, and killed 7 out of every 10 dives. I understand you can use web swings as a "get over here" but I'm saying this for the damage. Most players typically outheal the first combo but I believe a second one, if you're lucky enough to survive that long, could potentially confirm that kill specifically.
I understand this opinion might be biased but I just don't like pokey attrition metas and I believe a meta where dive or brawl is dominating is better more fun, and more engaging for most games. 13:50 I'm the video he even starts to talk about how much work you have to put in only for them to just heal up, waste your effort and then CC/Kill you at very little cost to them.

@@zoekid6143 this is something I could seriously agree with, also something about the healing in the game feels a little off/weird, in some places it feels like too much, and in others it feels like too little... too much against dive but too little in attrition based battles, I'm not sure if I dislike it yet, it is frustrating to play against, but I can see how it's there to keep supps from getting frustrated. I definitely need to play more when they bring it back to get a better opinion.

Jeff needs more mobility. His healing is fine, but a single person dive can screw him up. If his swim activated sooner, and moved him slightly faster in some way, he could escape _some_ dives. As it was in last beta, he just dies too easy.
Hulk needs a rework for sure. His shield doesn’t really fit his character (and is kinda weak) and his stun is just bad AND doesn’t fit his character either. They should make him more centered on the destructible environment (just an idea) or more actually beating the everliving life out of people, not weird stuns and shield.
I just got on to see what you had to say about Peni, I believe im somewhat qualified to speak on here because of having about 30 hours on her alone (one trick). Peni is a great character for shutting down, denying space, mobility, and sustain. Shes sacrifices damage from primary for the high burst dmg and area denial. I think shes misunderstood and the most she needs is either some damage moved from mines to primary, more dmg overall, or someway to make her more of a threat without making her too annoying. Shes already great for flanks imo with her climb move and pretty nice self heal overall, but her output as a whole is not there. Her CC has a 3 second cooldown too, but unless youre shutting down ults left and right it isnt as impacful as someone as someone like scarlet or hela.
I’d have to disagree. Hulk definitely needs a rework. He feels absurdly weak and absolutely needs a splash attack to prevent him from getting swarmed. His stasis move prevents you from attacking the enemy so what is the point of it and his thunderclap desperately needs a buff. There’s simply no point to him if Thor and Venom do what he does but better.
I didn't have much issue with BP unless I wiffed a cd. If you wiff a cd with BP you basically have to leave and reset.
Yeah I feel like the hit reg issues in general need tons of work before the game is released. That and the low framerate even on decent rigs are my two biggest issues

Hulk no change? Seriously? You already suggested two to three changes and put him to no change? Bruh Hulk doesnt feel like hulk rn. He needs to be buffed or reworked. Black Panther doesnt need to be buffed but to be reworked. Sure he should be a diving menace but he is doing nothing on cooldown, his ult has litterally little value and his passive is freaking useless. Same thing with Thor. He doesnt feel like Thor at all. He is supposed to be a flying melee character that can occasionally shoot lightning. What we have is just awful. Thor should be able to fly at will, make a dive landing impact damage like venom, melee with his hammer, and shoot lightning. By the way throwing his hammer should immobilize touched target.
Ok I do admit my only experience with and vs Hulk is from playing with/against Winton_OW who might be one of the best Hulks in the world so I'm probably a bit off in my alignment on him.
@@coach_millsThe issue isn't really with his effectiveness. He's very good. It just doesn't feel like how the Hulk should play. For the character called "the strongest one there is" he doesn't feel very strong, just mobile.

His survivability and efficiency is lower than any dps out there. He litteraly can do nothing when on cooldown. He should be able to throw 3 or 5 knives.
His passives are useless and so is his ultimate which are all just offering him a time extension for zipping around the place.
He should get a normal double jump, A speed boost instead of a damage and health one, his ult should be linked to the famous kinetic charge introduced in Black Panther the movie. Either an explosion or a located kinetic discharge.

I'm not completely sure but to me it felt like Peni was a decent worse during the bera compared alpha, her primary she had during alpha felt better, In short I think if they go back to the old rifle primary that could headshot and tweak her abilities, maybe rework the ult as well she'll be better
Honestly all i want is a venom shield nerf and thats really it. I like the chaos and the skill expression. I dont want them to destroy the skill expression they built like overwatch did.

@SpaceCowBoyRay In general I like that balance philosophy a lot as long as you don't start with some big outliers. For example, in order to catch up everyone else to characters like Hella and Magneto I think you would need to buff way too much too fast. Just nerf a little off the top and then we can buff from there.

Truthfully only 4 characters need big changes. Penni because she’s awful, get Jeff out the game entirely and hela/punisher need touches to their damage.

This was a great video but I do think you need to gain more experience with the game as a whole before putting these characters into a state of changes. Like for example, with Black Panther, he is a lot weaker in comparison to the other DPS hero’s as he is a melee fighter with less damage output and long cooldowns however, if you ever play the character to a great extent you will get to see that his dash is really buggy and often does not register the way you want it to. Overall great video but do not force content to get in on the hype especially if you only played for 4 days. I am a top 100 DPS player in the game and this list is just not it
I played Black Panther in Top 500, he's one of my most played character. Yes the buggy problems with hitreg exists but that's not what this video is about. Even with perfect hit reg, Panther is still mediocre at best when teams have proper sustain comps

Uhhhhhh, as I go through this video, I realize more and more how much ur starting to show you only have 4 days of knowledge on this game. Rocket’s rebirth isn’t his ult, it’s an ability, and it’s not a tp, it’s a revive. It’s also not really rockets issue, bc the cd is very long. Rocket’s biggest issue is that he’s just too slippery, and imo it’s really his ult. His actual ult. He often gets ult first, and greatly shifts the tide of battle just by pressing q, and some fights just feel like winner goes to whichever rocket gets ult faster. M8 I feel you should really fact check some of ur takes b4 u make a video.
Yeah my bad not his ult, but that ability specifically is the problem. I know it's not a resurrect I'm conflating it with Sym teleport in Overwatch 1 because it's effectively very similar and causes similar problems. Flanking around is difficult and often in Top 500 lobbies the only viable flanker is maybe Spiderman, or you could argue Iron man. This means that it will rarely get punished at all and in an attrition battle kills happen slowly and fights can last forever meaning that ability goes too far. The fact it's not an ultimate actually doesn't matter it's just a powerful ability on a long CD same thing effectively. My suggestion is to basically slow the resurrect so that it takes a bit longer to happen but you still get in faster than walking back. Completely mental for someone to die and come back around the corner instantly and be able to ult or interact right away when they died seconds earlier.
His ult is not the most broken part about him at all. It's very strong but it's also very possible to kite it or cut LOS. This is harder in ranked with bad communication and people are often split on what to do. Some shoot it, some run, some ignore etc. Everyone needs to be on the same page. If they were, focus fire, or kiting completely neutralizes that ult and positionally, no one should be playing away from corners besides a tank who can often not instant die to it.
@@coach_mills I agree that his ability can be strong, but there’s 2 options to handle it pretty consistently: kill the rocket or break the beacon. Killing rocket can be rough because he’s very slippery, which I feel is one of the strongest parts of his kit, which leaves breaking the beacon, which isn’t exactly weak, but isn’t too healthy either. One good coordinated dive and you take it out easily, and you’ll have plenty of time to finish the fight before he has it up again. On the other hand you said his ult is not what makes him strong because you can LoS it, but that’s kinda the point. If a rocket has good ult placement, his team will be in LoS of the ult while enemies aren’t or put it behind a shield tank like strange or magneto, leaving only 2 options: burn another ult and/or valuable cd’s to push in and break it, or give point and back off. The fact that he can consistently get this ult first is a huge impact on the initial pace of the game. I personally don’t think any one thing makes him broken, but the combination of all these things he has, with effectively 0 down sides makes him a jack of all trades, and tho he may not particularly excel in anything, “A jack of all trades is a master of none, yet often times better than a master of one.” In his case, he may not excel, but he performs substantially in all categories, and is incredibly self sustaining, given he has permanent personal heals and the best movement in the game.

Ngl some of these takes make absolutely no sense. You said Black Panther is a little weak because with all the peel he can go in, do a bunch of damage, get no kills, and have to be useless for 8 seconds bc he’s waiting for cd, in addition to risking his life, which makes sense. Then you say Spider-Man is fine, even though he suffers from EXACTLY the same thing, except he only does single target damage. He can go in, get out healed without even baiting any abilities (maybe one ability with the venom team up but granted whatever he baits is on a lower cd than team up), then leave and be useless for 8 seconds while waiting for his grapple ability to be off cd. On top of that, in higher ranks he straight up gets tapped mid swing, and if by some miracle he doesn’t die, he’s 100% dead if he does anything but swing right back out to health pack of supps. Unlike black panther, Spider-Man also has 0 sustainability mid fight, and has the lowest damage per 10 out of any dps by far. At the highest level of play Spider-Man barely even got a cameo, much less playtime.

This aint even true man, Necros was rank 1 on Spiderman. There are far more spidermans in top 500 than Black Panther. I'm also not arguing that Spiderman should NEVER be buffed, I just don't think it should happen right now as he is stronger effectively than heroes in a similar niche like Panther who deserve attention first.
Spiderman could already be very strong with a nerf of peel all around which is what I want. I'm pretty pro dive in general and think Rivals would be really fun in a dive meta with heroes like Spiderman meta as well so IDK why you think I'm singling him out or something

As soon as he ran into real comps in tournament he gave up entirely on Spider-Man and switched to Magik and Black Panther, and still got rolled 4 - 0. He had much better luck with Magik than anyone else, but his most played being Spider-Man didn’t even get to see playtime, and it also was his lowest damage per 10 by a decent bit despite having most of his hours by far, and that’s including the fact that he had previous experience on Spider-Man from alpha, and 0 experience on Magik because she didn’t exist until recent beta.
I mean it does look like it takes some core mechanics from Overwatch. First clip was hulk getting busted out of green like diva.😂 All in all though, it’s a hero shooter so similar balancing should be applied. As for the vid, good stuff. Do I believe as some random that it’s going to shake up the market? Maybe. It won’t kill overwatch( I always make the argument of why the community always say a game will kill another. It puts higher expections on a game without giving it its own unique player base.) This game follows the core Tank/DPS/Support with objective gameplay that Overwatch does.(Is a hero shooter focused on objective based gameplay.
Another think that erks me is the same thing the D2KO is doing now and Multiverses did a year or two ago. Why are we running tournaments for a game that hasn’t proven itself to be stable yet? Only thing it does is diversify the player base where people get an elitism mindset about a game that isn’t even polished yet. The core things that need to be addressed about the game right now is how monetizing, Frequent balancing, developer PR, Server quality for all platforms it’s planning to release on, how will cross play and aim assist be handled(I hope they separate PC and Console for once because there’s always a wild reception in the player base about AA, Frames, Graphics and tech is handled. I remember Smite back in the day ran tournaments for console and PC separately and it was well received for the most part.) For accessibility reasons, I doubt they matter for a decrease in Queue times. The game does look like a superhero mashup that’s been waited on since the MVC series so that’s exciting. The last big superhero mashup game was Infinite and that bombed. 6 years later, this might being some hope back to those who want a true superhero experience in multiplayer gaming again.

Anyone who is Top 500 level in Overwatch will be able to get Top 500 in Rivals quickly. With it being limited beta as well the talent pool is lower. PLUS if you fill and play your fill well, it's not really that hard. Just lock in and caffeine up.

lol first few days of beta I got to gold three and was like top 300? Got to high diamond and it was pretty easy to stay top 200ish. It has to do with the fact that there aren’t too many people in the beta. And everyone is playing this (mostly) for the first time.
