    I have done many wrongs in my life I am not perfect. The greatest obstacle I conquered was when I was the age of 18. Without getting into the detial, i almost died from the needle drugs twice in one year. I did not learn the 1st time I ended up in the hospital with hepatitis. In less than 5 months, I ended up with severe hepatitis once more. My liver made me look like I was pregnant and I was only 98 pounds. I had no choice but to change or die. Today I am proud to say my liver is healed.

    1. I need better take care of what I am doing
    2. Charity work. Invest some of your time to benefit of sth you can do, give or provide. Do sth that it’s not for your benefit.
    3. Do your n’est to balance what must be balanced.
    4. To regain control to must educate your mind.

    Thank you Master Shi Heng Yi for sharing your insightful advise from your personal experiences and encounters, knowledge acquired over the many years of Shaolin practices.. So, in essence, what I understand in this video is its OK to make mistakes. We all make mistakes everyday but the lesson is don't keep repeating the same mistake again and again otherwise we would have to re-learn the same lesson and that means we can't move forward with living life a more productive and positive way.. It's a great message.. Thank you. 🙏

I am a boilermaker that prefers to weld instead of fabricating steel, where I am currently welding at work which I think by doing that will find that perfect mindset I really want and just do it after work.

    I will say, for whatever reason the audio is usually very low on the dialog, even when there's no music. I'll have my phone volume all the way up while I'm performing tasks and can't make out what's being said so I end up watching something else bc we can't hear it.. I very much appreciate Master Yi's insight, but I wish the audio was balanced better.

    The music didn't have to get so loud at times. I've always hated having to struggle to hear the words over someone playing music that didn't even need to be there, let alone blasting like a concert. It's in the wrong frequency too, so that makes it even worse.

    As much as I can see this man is wise, I can't help but think the message is a bit ableist. Some people make mistakes (and repeat them) because they don't have the tools for that right now: they struggle with mental health issues, or an intellectual/development disability. Also, focusing on doing good to others is the opposite of what they need to get better: they often don't spend enough time taking care of their own soul and body.

    Respectfully asking... Does anyone know where I can purchase the garments worn by these two masters?

    • @IanTranSend
      @IanTranSend Рік тому

      I'd take caution around doing something that could be akin to stolen valor/appropriating attire that's emblematic of a very specific way of life. For master Shi Heng Yi's, it's more like approaching it with a mindset joining the monastic life and incidentally, the robes awill be part of the uniform. For the other individual I think you'd need to seek out threadworkers who specialize in historic attire and costumers, or maybe those are issued as part of the martial art discipline he belongs to. In which case, seek out traditional Chinese martial arts that focus on bladed and other weapon work, find a dojo and ask there though usually the robes are also part of the uniform so it's like something you're better off earning the way a soldier today has military dress uniforms which are earned.

    • @Akubushi
      @Akubushi Рік тому

      @@IanTranSend Yeah it is NOT that serious. I even asked a friend living in China and they said it's not that serious. Akin to stolen valor like wearing a Military uniform? Hardly. At any rate, I asked not to actually wear it was more curious as I'm fond of cultural attire. Needless to say I am also a Martial Artist. Thanks for the response at any rate..
