It's like you have a "tarantula gene" or something.

Most beautiful tarantula out there. Are Regalis communal as adults? If you had 2 or 3 females in a larger enclosure?

I have a little one about 3.5 inches. I’ve heard they are difficult to molt sex but are sexually dimorphic when mature. for right now I can tell if mine is male or female. I guess only time will tell. Anything you’ve noticed in this species that may give hints as to sex as they age?

Hello from Germany, how long can you keep Regalis or Metalica together because they say they are loners, they have 4 pieces in one tank?

Once the females start to mature they will set up territories and eat each other so I separate at large juvie size

Just a question Dave.. " How is it that when you put male and females in together the female doesn't try to eat the males ??? " Or is that only during mating time ??? I was wondering that the last time I watched when you had a heap of spiders all in the same tank living together .... Would they mate with one another or not ? Or are they not of breeding age ? ... And, " What would happen if you put two different spiders in together , would they mate or kill one another ? Has anyone tried to breed two different spiders together to create a new breed ??? Thanks for your time .. Have a great day ... 🤔😊🕷🤷‍♀🙋‍♀

The only spiders we have kept together are balfouri and regalis , the regalis only when young becouse as they mature the females will kill the others and eventually each other ? There is absolutely no reason to try and breed two deferent species of spider together and should be avoided at all costs , a huge amount of damage can be done to the population by cross breeding 👍

@@daveslittlebeasties Yes , I agree , but you know how some people are , the stupid ones that will try anything once just for the heck of it.. Anyway , I just thought I'd ask.. Thank you for replying Dave, appreciate your input greatly.. i think your channel is by far the best one I've seen on youtube as you take it seriously and don't muck around...It really is very educational to watch and sometimes quite funny taboot... I've shared your videos to those I think could learn a thing or two about the proper way ro educate instead of just wanting to shock !!! Thanks again Dave.. Have a good one.. xx🙂🙃☺

@@jdssurf once they are juvie if allowed to set up a territory they will predate on each other which is why we keep the tanks bare 👍
