Columbia Ave RR Crossing with new signals! (4/4/23)

This video was at the Columbia Ave RR Crossing in Dumont NJ along the CSX river line! This crossing recently got upgraded. It is not completely done, as the pedestrian signals are still out of service. I'm guessing CSX plans on putting in a separate crossing platform next to the pedestrian signals, although I'm not sure. This crossing has all modern CSX signals with a cantilever on the other side! Unfortunately, a Conrail signal was knocked down here as well as a newer CSX signal. Nice video! Sad to see the loss of the mini bell, but the cantilever is nice

It's been years since the mini bell has been replaced but I love the new signals especially that cantilever on the far side
