I went into a small recording studio about ten years ago and the guy that owned the studio asked us to play very low because he lived with his elderly mom but told me I can get you a great sound at low volume and he had one of these pods so we agreed to play low and I recorded a song with it called Blues Per Minute and he was right I got a great sound with it , never used it again because I didn't own one but nine years later I found one on Craigslist for 20 dollars with the carrying case and a foot pedal that came with it ,cool device but I am not giving up my Kemper
When I first brought my POD I couldn't get a foot pedal for it, I brought one second hand a few years after but it was for a later model that said it was compatible but it was not haha. If I had a choice between the POD 2.0 and a Kemper... I would go with the Kemper as well haha. I've yet to use one fully and explore with one myself, hopefully one day.
That did sound a million times better. Looking forward to seeing other pedal combos with it. The pod by itself sounds lofi, and probably could be used for a loving tone in a recording.
I agree! The amp simulators in this unit are solid! and using it as a preamp is amazing! I may have to see what it sounds like with a boost pedal in front of it as well.
They are made by different companies. But they are the same type of device. You should be able to do the same thing I have done in this video with your Vamp. If you do, let us know how it goes.

Sounds like sawmills live "concert"😅🤣😂.
Haha, there is a lot of truth to that haha. I love low tuning with a edgy and grinding sound with not much low end.
And in videos like this, it shows.
