      That's fair, but she definitely didn't deserve to be wrongfully convicted or end up in there for life.
      I am very happy for her and her son that the prosecutor didn't have tunnel vision, kept investigating all angles, and therefore realized she was innocent. So many times, tunnel vision prevents investigating other angles or information that doesn't fit their theory, which is swept under the rug.

      Not sure that I can completely agree with this. I've seen first hand how both people are in unhappy relationships with people that they are not suited to but for some reason or another do not leave. Then they find someone they can connect and confide in, that they do eventually end up breaking up with their partner for.
      I mean, they definitely should have left before it got to this, but having children complicates the issue. The people I know have been in a happy relationship for 11 years, whilst their previous relationships were only 3 and 7 years and do not have the time or desire to cheat on each other.
      Going to add that one was in a relationship that used him just to have a child and man about the house. She cheated on him long before he did, but stayed because of his child. The other was in a relationship with someone who had a drug problem and would stalk everytime she tried to leave, until she found someone to love and protect her.

    This dude should have received a longer sentence the first time he tried to pull some abduction or murder shit. Law enforcement, the courts don’t seem to take emerging violent, criminal behaviour towards women as the problem it truly is. It always feels like we are not valued and these predators are released and usually escalate to murder so there’s no witnesses.

    • @AllergicToMakeBelieve
      @AllergicToMakeBelieve 9 місяців тому

      We're not valued. Starting about 2500 years ago with the destruction of matriarchal societies and the orchestration of misogynistic abramic religions, through today where we have first world governments enabling "self ID" so that men can freely call themselves women; women have endured active oppressive and violent acts. Throughout history women have been compromised, but nothing even comes close to today's redefinition blurring the lines of what a woman actually is. They couldn't hold us down, now they're trying to erase us.

    • @CharliCharboneau
      @CharliCharboneau 9 місяців тому +20

      Thank you. The fact is they know that sex offenders get more and more aggressive and violent as they get comfortable with their behavior plus it taking more violence for them to get off on. When a man is at the point where he is abducting women he is far up the spectrum of sexual predator and well on his way to murder, not that rape itself isn't enough of a serious crime to justify a twenty yr stink or more behind bars. I have come to the conclusion that a male dominated legal system is not serving women well at all.

      @@CharliCharboneauthe legal system might have a lot of men but they are not the problem. Not enough woman are as experienced as men, have the same background as men, and even apply for the position as men. Is it supposed to be that woman start getting chosen to be in positions purely because they are woman instead of because they are the most experienced candidate or the most qualified candidate or in the case of judges the candidate that wins the vote?
      Hiring woman just because we need woman in the field is the EXACT WRONG BEHAVIOR that we try to avoid and the EXACT WRONG THING you are complaining about or insinuating to complain about.
      Think. Should we hire Judge Jennifer Soandso just because she is a woman and is there and doesn't seem to have any scars or marks on her record or do we hire Bradley Soandso because he has more schooling and more real world experience and higher testing scores and is probably better equipped for the job?
      Do you know what the psychology of judges and the science of the position says about woman and men in that position? How about with men and woman police officers and the performance of the two groups? It is getting a lot better than it was but the facts are 50 years ago woman just were not in many fields and 100 years ago they were not in any of them when it comes to a lot of professions. It has always been traditional hunter/gatherer style behavior for woman to not be a part of many of the legal professions and especially being cops and judges. That is not going to change overnight nor should it. It is good to recognize and like having a woman president it will happen eventually but it just isn't time for that right now and hiring a woman just because there has not been one doesn't make sense and completely undermines and contradicts the whole reason one would bring up that issue. So it is important to stop and appreciate the amount of woman we have now in many fields compared to 50 and 100 years ago and think about 200 years ago. Wow. 300?
      We have come a long way and making strides that far and high just because it is fair and should be the way things are is not helpful and actually hurts us. It is handicapping woman.
      As more woman attend grad school and flood the fields that were once male dominated the tides will turn or at least the majority will shrink.
      It isn't done in a few years or even 20. It will take a few generations to fix that as it should. Otherwise it is out of pity almost or done just to even the race so to speak and valence the system instead of being done fairly and because the best candidate wins. I would give you statistics if you asked. If you need them. And articles as to why this is but I am sure you understand now. Right?

    Michelle O'Connell's story is so infuriating. If that's how a complete stranger feels, I can't even begin to imagine what her family is going through.
    I'll never understand why detectives can't admit when they made a mistake.
    Something very similar happened to one of my dear friend. They claimed he ended himself but things didn't add up. Like the gf, supposedly, was in the other room but had gunshot residue on her. Supposedly, he shot himself through the eye. That sounds weird by itself but his eye was open. It just seems like your eye would unwittingly close, unless you are not aware a bullet is about to go through your eye.
    All I really know is Detroit homicide is an absolute joke & will make wrong calls just to avoid some paperwork.

    It blows me away how blaze’ police are about missing people in America. Every missing person should be found, and when they are and don’t want to be, the Police can at least pass on the message and some conformation of life. This at least eases the minds of potentially hundreds of friends and family and strengthens the relationship between police and public which can only be a positive thing.

      I've been suspicious of the handling of missing people for a while. It's common knowledge the first 48 hours are crucial to cases yet some towns/counties demand loved ones wait that long before cops will accept a missing person report.. It's shady the police are ordered to wait long enough for a person to be disappeared & vital evidence, witnesses & sometimes COVEN are no longer available, then they start looking. Definitely something fishy there... Now we know wronguns like Epstein worked with the 'see-eye-ay' in a major ppl trafficking ring, some of the legislation begins to make sense

    I worked fifteen minutes away from where Sierah was kidnapped. I remember that day vividly. I was walking to work at the Legion in Morenci, MI and downtown was dead quiet at 10am. No cars or anything. Every window, pole, door, anywhere you could put a poster, that was the first time I saw her face. We spent those next few days at work with the news on, watching, waiting, hoping she would be found safe. She was my regular's cousin.
    My heart broke when they found that vile monster's "bunker" and later found her remains. It still blows my mind that someone like James Worley was EVER released from prison. I wonder how many other victims suffered the same fate that will never be found. I remember when they tore his house down.
    And I felt so bad for her boyfriend, the guilt he must have felt letting her continue on home by herself, not knowing what was to come 💔😭 i hope he is kind to himself.

      Did you mean Ohio. Everyone thought the boyfriend had something to do with it for a while then felt so bad for him. Right after this we had all those stupid killer clowns I’ll never forget those few months. I think a Facebook group was made for Sierra I believe I joined it. It remember seeing it it had blue in the pictures on it.

      @@KrispyChanges no, I didn't mean Ohio. I worked in Morenci Michigan, which is about fifteen minutes from where Sierah was taken in Ohio. You drive a half mile up the road and you are in Ohio 😅 and yes everyone at the Legion thought it was him. I felt so bad for him. The customers had the news on every day and I'll never forget when they finally caught the real monster.
      Sierah's family pushed for new legislation in OH and now there is Sierah's Law. Sierah's Law requires those with violent offenses and kidnapping charges to put into a registry much like the sex offender registry. Had there been something like this in place previously, there would have been a higher chance that Sierah could have been found much sooner.

My anxiety level was off the charts. Now I am on disability. I can't drive anymore. Just to think of driving, was overwhelming. My right arm was paralyzed. And my brain is foggy. I have seen the story of Craig and Christina and that one breaks my heart. It is so difficult to find true love anymore that might last, to hear a story where it was snatched away from them so cruelly, just tells you how crazily ironic life can be. So sad.
    For Petra, perhaps she just wanted to be left the hell alone. That's not highly unusual. There's a video of people who moved away to extreme remote islands, only person there. And now UA-camrs are bugging them to death.
    It's her right to be left alone as an individual. Who knows what deep family secret lurks there. Boundaries mean everything for some. And really, she doesn't owe anybody any kind of explanation for anything. People have a hard time managing their expectations of what other people owe them. And nobody owes anybody _anything._

And tied her up “ she answer yes the police men’s follows the 14 year old girl and found the three men’s playing video games they were arrested after that they bawl out one of them and once they did the guy raped a 10 year old girl so he was arrested again
