I took my family over to the crater of diamonds. I drove from San Antonio, TX. It was a good drive. We stayed about 5 days. It was a perfect day, the night before it rained hard. The following day, we went over there. I had everything, wagon, small shovels, screens. We didn't find anything except some pretty rocks. SHOUT OUT FROM SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. U.S ARMY VETERAN.
The most comprehensive video on Diamond mining at the Crater of Diamonds I have ever seen. I told my husband you remind me Of the crocodile hunter. discovery needs to hire you. Thanks for the great lesson. Your passion is so infectious.
This is really an awesome and informative video!!I love hounding for gems and since my wife and I are heading there soon, this really was great to watch!
Found a diamond at " The Crater Of Diamonds" and went to get it verified, The man looked at our stones and swiped the tiny diamond to the carpet and said it was nothing but returned the other stones to us and told us to move along. I CALL BULL CRAP. He stole our diamond........True Story. People Be Aware.🤬🤬🤬
My husband and I plan to go here. I don’t really wear jewelry or care for it. But if I was to wear a wedding ring I’d want it made from a quaint little diamond like this! I hope we find one! Great video and great job!
I was there literally the week after you came. I saw diamonds everywhere but they were all microscopic. I was digging deep. I didn’t know you could just sift the tilled dirt on top.
It might be a tiny diamond, but it got you closer to five and back to your CO Au. Thank you, for another great video. I hope to prospect with you some day. It would be educational and fun.
If I did find anything of size, I wouldn’t say a word to anyone. I’d take it to a trusted jeweler and go from there. I’m certain the IRS is waiting on the daily list of “finders” from that place.
Diamonds are only worth what you’re willing to pay for them. Go buy a $10,000 diamond ring then try and sell it you’re NEVER going to get what you paid for it.
@ColoradoGoldCamp I bet. I'm sure they just dump em out so people just keep digging up the same crap every year. I'm sure almost everyone misses the tiny ones. They're not trained to look for them. Focus is on the bigger stuff
@lothar schiese If I ever go there I'm looking for the lowest point and than shovel off all the soft stuff to get to hard pack. That's what I'd do. Deeper, the better I'm surs
Finally a guy who knows what he's talking about finding a REALISTIC diamond

Take a uv flashlight. Diamonds may flourless in uv light. I hear 40% of them do.
They don't allow those

You can buy microscopic diamonds even for 20$

A diamond is a diamond and I am getting closer to my goal! Thanks for the support CW! Colorado Gold here I come!
How much you sell it? Just wonder the price effect because over supply, everyone can dig at that place
A very enjoyable video, thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work.
Thank you David. I hope that your Diamond count is continually growing, have a most wonderful summer!!

My wife and I really enjoy your videos. Headed to AR from FL shortly to test our luck. Any advice on the best month(s) to go?

You there 1 year or something?
Hehe, I put in a little over 30 days of digging.
I still say you look and sound like Randy Quaid.

Dude I want to kick it and work with you for a few days I’m in Colorado
All the trough tailings probably get dumped there.
Lot's of tiny diamonds are being found below the troughs!

@@chrissaucier9386 In other words, look for an unusual, least likely spot, even a high point.

blurry it in a gold nugget
🙌
Man I found a dark blue diamond
Could I in a wheelchair get around ok there? I'm good in my chair but yeah still limited
Like a egg
It is!
Just a waste of time diamonds are just not worth anything this day in age especially how small they are there..
You have no idea what you’re talking about
How much was that tiny little thing worth
This particular one is a full nice little crystal and would likely fetch around $150 to a collector.
