  • Camping at the Rock Creek National Forest Service Campground located about midway between the cities of Yachats and Florence on the central Oregon coast. Visiting three lovely ocean beaches that are within a couple of miles of the campground.

Informative and inspiring. I'm familiar with all these places but love seeing how others view them. You've inspired me to spend a couple of nights at the Rock Creek Campground.

You have a good narration voice. how easy is it to park for free overnight along the coast in july and august. i have a van I want to camp in next Summer. The heat bothers me, so just looking to stay cool in the hottest months.

The Oregon coast is a good way to beat the heat in the summer. I don't really have good information about free places, I almost always stay in established campgrounds on public land. I suspect that the best possibilities would be dispersed camping in the Siuslaw National Forest or other national or state forests. Something I intend to explore more in the future.

I've been surf fishing up and down that area now for awhile. Switching to shark fishing and gonna see what happens. That first little headland you walked up to is where i got goose barnacles and a crab one morning. Did catch and cook right there on the beach but at the south side of that rock.

I’m staying in the area now and will try to get a spot in that campground and visit those beaches. Love your video style, soooo soothing.

My visit to the Rock Creek Campground was in June which most people would consider to be early summer. But the Oregon coast remains cool for most of the summer. Average high temperatures for this region of the coast remain in the low 60s for June, July and August. This area has many foggy and/or cloudy mornings. Thanks for watching.
